Ok I'm bored so here it goes! I HAVE NO FREAKIN IDEA WHAT I'M DOING -_-**

SUMARY: Inuyasha goes to far with his verbal abuse after a run in with Koga. So Kagome runs from him strait into Kikyo. Kikyo attacks Kagome which ends up with her dead, but the body was no where to be found. And no one knows Kikyo did it. Later the group comes across a village that tells of a strange maiden that the Geisha's came across that doesn't remember where she's from or anything about her past. Could this woman be the key to finding Kagome?

Inu/Kag, Mir/San, maybe more.

 

Prolog:

 

 

It was a normal day in the feudal era. Peaceful, sunny, quit. A perfect time for shard hunting after a good day and a half rest for the rag tag group. Even the big bad Inuyasha had to admit it was a beautifully painted scene showing only the happiness of the world. No one suspected that this seemingly innocent day would become a hell on earth. It all started when Ginta, Hakaku, and Ayame appeared with an injured and unconscious Koga. Kagome seeing that her friend was in need of medical attention, went to work patching him up. One of his wounds was high up on his thigh, so that Kagome had to pill up his man skirt/pelt thingy(o.o*) just a small bit so she could bandage it. This did not make Inuyasha happy, to say the absolute least. After Koga was al bandaged up he was taken back to his pack by Ginta, Hakaku, and Ayame. That's when Inuyasha and Kagome got into a fight. But this time the fight was worse much worse.

“WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WHERE DOING!?”

“WHAT DID IT LOOK LIKE I WAS DOING?! I WAS HELPING KOGA WITH HIS WOUNDS!!”

“YEAH AND YA JUST HAD TO COP-A-FELL TO!”

“WHAT? I DID NOT I WAS BANDIGING HIS LEG AND IF I DIDN'T HE WAS GOING TO LOSE IT!”

Mean while the rest of the gang was a little awed (I hope I got the right word here>-<) at how heated the augment was getting. They all new Inuyasha was a little on the jealous side but accusing Kagome of pulling a Miroku? That was just insane!

“OH LIKE HIM LOSING HIS LEG WOULD BE A BAD THING? PLEASE YOU CAN'T STAND THE THOUGHT THAT YOU LITTLE WOLF BOY GOT HURT! DAMNIT WHY CAN'T YOU BE MORE LIKE KIKYO?!”

“WELL HERES A THOUGHT ABOUT THAT : I'M NOT KIKYO!!!!!!!”

“WELL OF CORSE YOU NOT! KIKYO”S NOT SOME TRASHY WHORE!”

Everyone gasped. All of them where shocked beyond belief that Inuyasha had called her such a thing. Hell he was shocked to the point that he couldn't speak that he just called her that. The all seemed frozen in place. All except Shippo. Demon pups were very protective of their mother's honor. Fox demons especially. The only other demons that were worse when it came to that was the canine demons such as dog or wolf. In an instant Shippo's eyes seeped red, and he started transforming into the giant fox that was his true form. He wasn't nearly as big as he would be when he grew more but he still was twice the size of Kirara (large version). In one swift movement he lunged at Inuyasha and had him pinned to the ground biting and clawing at him. The rest of the gang ran to try and get him of. Sure they all wanted to hurt Inuyasha for what he said but they didn't want to kill him. When the finally pushed Shippo off he immediately reverted to his human form and collapsed from exertion. Though Shippo could do that he still was young and so he could only transform in extreme circumstances. And it would only be for a few minutes. When Inuyasha looked up he saw that there was no Kagome to be found. Instead he found the heart breaking sent of tears, sorrow and pain all of which bogged down usually calming happy sent. Then another sent hit him. A demon in the same direction that Kagome was headed. Inuyasha struggled to get up considering the four deep slashes across his chest and the many other wounds inflicted by Shippo. Apparently he wasn't the only one who sensed the demon. Sango and Miroku were already getting prepared for a battle and Kirara had already transformed. All together they ran for the forest (1 they picked up Shippo already 2they were in a clearing.) at least as far as they could get before running into one of Kagome's barriers. Bad sign. Kagome only put up a barrier when someone was in desperate need of help or when she was very upset. And even then it was because she lost control of her powers and they decided to put up a barrier(ok the reason she can't really control her powers is because Inuyasha never lets them stay long enough in Kiedea's so that Kagome can train).

“Inuyasha use the red tetsiegia(sp?).” Shouted Miroku feeling the strength of the demon from were they were.

“Right.” Inuyasha said as he lifted the steel fang (ha ha that's what tetsiegia means in japanses. I think >_<*). In one move he brought the red tetsiegia down on the barrier. Only to be thrown back a good 10 meters into a tree. That's when they heard it, the pained screech of the demon. And felt the loss of the demonic aura. A few minutes later the barrier went down. By now it was night time and it hard for them to see. And they were losing her sent.

 

 

 

After seeing Shippo lunge at Inuyasha Kagome took off. She didn't know where she was going just that she was going. After a few minutes of running she felt her powers explode around her making a barrier. Still she didn't stop. Soon after that she felt a demon's aura. But she kept running until the disgusting beast jumped out in front of her. It was a giant rat like demon with three eyes. It was easily the size of a modern house(height wise) and smelled worse then a sewer.

“Give me jewel” it growled. Kagome felt her power flare as it jumped to kill her. In a great blast of miko energy it was destroyed letting out a loud screech of pain as it was burned alive. When all was left was burning ash Kagome was long gone. She was now on the edge of a cliff(sitting) crying her eyes out. Slowly she felt the power of her barrier wash over her indicating that it finally came down.

 

She suddenly felt a tug on her soul. She looked up at the forest that she was just running in only to see Kikyo and her soul collectors emerging from the darkness. But instead of the usually dignity that she showed when she walked she was staggering and appeared to be wounded. Kagome jumped up to help her. Kikyo continued to stager until she was right next to the edge of the cliff and Kagome. Kagome bent down to try and help her walk properly(Kikyo was bent over) when she felt cool feeling of a blade lodged in her stomach. Then the pain. She let out a soul freezing scream as Kikyo continued her attack by pushing Kagome over the cliff, into the rock, rapid filled river. Kikyo let a cruel cold smile pass her lips as she stood up strait and brushed the invisible dirt of her shirt. She looked down at the dagger in her hands. She was smart enough to not use her own and to ware a sent seal so that no one would be able to tell it was her that murdered the young miko from the future.

 

 

A quarter of a mile away(yes I know Kagome ran a lot) the rest of the gang came across the chard remains of the demon. The were all shocked to say the least. They never would have guessed that Kagome was capable of such a thing. Soon after they got over their shock they continued on their fast race to get to Kagome. After a short while of traveling they heard her scream. They forced themselves to go faster then they ever had before. They came to the cliff to find the bloody dagger. Her blood. They saw that they were to late. That she was pushed over the edge into the darkness of the violent river below. She was dead and there was nothing they could do………
