Chapter 7- Start of Some kind of Wonderful

A blue glow shone through the bushes. `The girl with the bow and arrows is the one Naraku wants. He didn't lie; her beauty is breath-taking, though the girl she is with is also beautiful. However, I will enjoy taking this girl, Kagome.'

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

"Kagome do you still sense the jewel shards?" asked Inuyasha. "Yeah, they're coming from that direction." Kagome pointed towards where the light shone. "What the hell is that light?" Inuyasha raised his sword higher.

The light emerged from the bushes. The gang was surprised at what they saw. The demon that emerged resembled a normal human man.

`He kind of looks like Sesshoumaru.' thought Kagome.

The man slowly and gracefully made his way to Inuyasha and the others.

"Who the hell are you, another one of Naraku's puppets?" Inuyasha asked harshly.

Kagome and Sango lowered their weapons and couldn't help but stare at the new comer. Sango leaned into Kagome and whispered, "Kagome, he's gorgeous." Kagome nodded in agreement, "I know."

Miroku and Inuyasha glared at the two girls. "He's what!!??" yelled Inuyasha.

"Relax Inuyasha. You're being rude. Let him introduce himself." Inuyasha's eyes widened at Kagome's words.

"Thank you Kagome." Kagome blushed and smiled. "My name is Nuka."

"Nice to meet you Nuka. I'm Kagome, as you already know, and this is Sango." The two teenage girls were grinning from ear to ear. `He's so cute.' thought Kagome.

Nuka had silky, long, blonde hair accompanied with ice-blue eyes. They looked like two shimmering diamonds. His face was blessed with an arrogant nose and perfect, plush lips. At the corners of his mouth were two long, sharp fangs.

"Kagome, stop staring at that demon!" roared Inuyasha, sounding jealous.

"My dear Sango, have you forgotten me?" Miroku grasped her hand and then rubbed her butt. She swatted his hand away, "Back off monk." She said flatly as she moved away from him and moved closer to Nuka.

`What, not even a yell or slap. Something is wrong here.' Miroku stood next to Inuyasha, "Inuyasha, something is wrong here." Inuyasha nodded, "I know what you mean. I don't like this Nuka guy. Look at the way Sango and Kagome are acting. Something is going on."

The girls were each standing on opposite sides of Nuka.

The light around him shone brighter than before. `This is too easy. Controlling these girls hasn't proven to be much of a task as Naraku said it would be. These jewel shards he gave me have increased my power immensely.' he thought.

"Listen you bastard; whatever you're doing to Kagome you better stop it now!"

"Release Sango of your spell."

"So they aren't so stupid after all.'

"Fine, as you both wish."

The blue light surrounding Nuka changed to black, engulfing him completely

"Kagome!"

"Sango!"

Inuyasha lunged and pushed Kagome out of the light. Miroku did the same for Sango.

"Get off of me Inuyasha, you filthy half demon."

"Get off of me you perverted monk. I hate you."

Inuyasha's eyes widened in shock at Kagome's words. He felt as though she pierced an arrow through his heart. `Kagome's never said that to me before.'

Miroku was having a hard time assessing Sango's words. `She hates me?'

Both Inuyasha's and Miroku's confidence were hurt.

"ROAR! Inuyasha you shall die and give me the girl Kagome. I need the rest of the jewel shards." His handsome features changed. His face elongated. His ice-blue eyes changed to bloodshot red. Long, blonde hair turned to coarse blonde fur. His entire, perfect body enlarged into that of demon lynx. Fangs grew shaper and longer, ad his ears moved to the top of his head, with little bits of fur shooting up from them.

"You now see my true form. Fight me Inuyasha." he bellowed.

Inuyasha was steaming with anger, `he did this to Kagome.' "Arghh, you'll pay for this you bastard." Inuyasha lifted u t tetsusaiga and began to battle with the demon lynx.

Meanwhile**

Kagome and Sango started feeling groggy. "What's going on?" asked Kagome. "Ouch, my head is aching." stated Sango.

Miroku eyed the two disbelieving, "You mean you don't remember?"

"Remember what Miroku?" asked Sango. "Yeah, Miroku what's going on?" back up Kagome.

"There's no time to explain, Inuyasha is battling against Nuka, the demon lynx."

Sango and Kagome looked at each other confused. Then Kagome's eyes widened, "I remember. He's that guy that came out of the bushes." Sango's eyes narrowed in concentration, "Was he surrounded by light?"

Miroku nodded. "He must have placed you both under a spell. It must have had to something with the light surrounding him."

"But why did it only affect Sango and me?" asked Kagome.

"Isn't it obvious Kagome…" he grabbed one of Kagome's hands into his and the other cupped Sango's, "you're both of the opposite sex." He gave them a cocky smirk. Kagome sweat dropped and yanked her hand out Miroku's hand. "Get off of me Miroku!" said Sango as she slapped him across the face.

"What did you do to Kagome you bastard!!??" barked Inuyasha.

Nuka laughed maliciously, "You haven't figured it out hanyou? She and the other girl were under my spell. Everything they did and said was all thanks to me." His laughing was harder then before.

`He made Kagome say those things?' Inuyasha's anger reached its ultimate peak. "You'll pay for that you low life demon!"

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Kagome turned her head in Inuyasha's direction. "Inuyasha…." she whispered.

"You can't defeat me. You're nothing but a half breed." Nuka lunged an air attack at Inuyasha. "Die Inuyasha!" His mouth came crashing down on Inuyasha's form. His hind legs kicking Inuyasha square in the stomach.

Inuyasha felt a searing pain course through his right shoulder. `That bastard bit me.' Blood was gushing down Inuyasha's shoulder. Tetsusaiga slumped to his left hand, `Damn it.'

"You'll pay for that!" retaliated Inuyasha.

"No, Inuyasha!!" yelled Kagome.

Inuyasha turned his face and saw Kagome's worried expression. `Kagome…'

"Inuyasha we're coming to help." she yelled again.

Sango picked up her large boomerang and Kagome picked up her bow and arrows.

"Don't take your eyes off your opponents, hanyou." A large golden paw knocked Inuyasha off his feet sending him smashing into a tree.

"HIRAIKOTSU!"

Nuka turned around and his blue light surrounded him once more. "Sango, why are you fighting against me, we're on the same side remember? Come here Sango." His enchanting, husky voice rang in Sango's ears.

"No Sango, fight it!" yelled Miroku, beating one of Nuka's paw off with his staff.

Sango's eyes were becoming blank, but then she heard it, Miroku's voice. `Miroku, I can't help it. Miroku…'

"Kilala, stop Hiraikotsu." Sango's voice was void of all emotion.

"Sango's stop this. He's using you." Miroku ran from Nuka and up to Sango.

`Miroku…' she thought.

"Sango, if you can hear me, please stop this."

"Kilala, dispose of this houshi." spat Sango.

Kilala set hiraikotsu down, behind Sango. She gave Miroku an apologetic look, but did not attack him as Sango instructed.

"Kilala do as I have ordered you!" ordered Sango.

"Sango, fight his control." Miroku leaned in closer, only a few inches away from her lips. He descended his head and closed the gap between them completely. His lips finally captured Sango's in a scorching kiss.

Sango's eyes widened and their normal hazel color returned. `Miroku…' she thought.

Miroku broke away from Sango. He saw her eyes were back to their beautiful hazel nature.

"Miroku..." she started, but Miroku interrupted, "We need to help Inuyasha and Kagome."

"Hai, houshi-sama."
