19: Dieing slowly from the inside out

It took us about three more days to get to Bashily. With every step I took another part of myself died knowing I had to leave this place...my dream...because...of what Myouga had told me before we left.

*Flashback*

"Miss. Kagome could you come her a second?"

"Sure..." i looked to my companions and they nodded to me telling me it was ok. Inu being him came back over and stood next to me but at a command from the old flee that lead to a command from me he went and sat in a near by tree to wait for me to finish.

"Kagome...you don't want to go home do you!" He looked up at me with sad eyes...

"Yes..." I replied slowly trying not to look at him...

"I thought so...but you know you have to go back for more than just the reason you belong there..?"

"Why else would I go back..."

"You are the only one who can make a wish to purify the Shikon no Toma...and I am asking you to do it...to rid the world of the Toma..."

"To rid the world of the Shikon no Toma...what good would that do?"

"If the Shikon no Toma isn't destroyed then it will destroy the world it has been seen by the gods...the end of the world will come if the Shikon no Toma remains...Please for the rest of the worlds life make the wish! I'm sure you will one day find happiness of your own were you belong..." I looked at him and kept the tears from falling...I had to do it...the world would be better off without me...it would rather have every villain ever than me taking up space...no body cared about me anyway...no one except...

I looked at the tree that Inu was now sleeping in and smiled...I'll have to break your heart...I'll have to break my own...but who ever said living was easy..."Myouga I'll do it..."

"Thank you now go child and remember this...her name is Sakura..."

"What do you...?" I turned to look at the old man flee but when I did he was gone and all that remained of him was a picture...of a girl my own age...she had silver hair and golden eyes with specks of silver in them. She had ears like Inu's except they had black flamed tips with a background of silver...

And as i looked I saw to names written on the bottom...InuYasha + Kagome...and under both names there was an equal sign and then the name Sakura...I reached down and took the picture carefully folding it and putting it in my pocket... ***********End of flashback**********

So that was it...I knew then that that was what I had to do...I had to...give up my life...for with out these people i know i would die. When my journey ended life itself would go...

"Kagome?" I looked up to see Sango she was standing infront of me with a smile on her face. "We're here come on let's go look for the grave....!" this village was alive you could tell by all the houses and laughter and happiness...yea happiness if any of these people knew me they wouldn't be so happy! Inu walked over to me and looked into my eyes...

"What's wrong?"

"nothing...It's just to happy here...that's all...to loud you know..." He tried to smile fake like back at me but both of us knew the smiles were dead smiles...like everything else in the world would soon be for us...

We walked to the inn and asked the keeper if they knew of the grave...she did...

"just down the lane there is an old grave yard no body is buried there anymore not since 50 years ago when lady Kikyo was buried herself."

"thanks we'll go there!!" Said Miroku with a smile as we began to walk to the grave yard...non knowing what to expect...but all knowing that we wouldn't like it not one little bit...especially me...that was unless we found a dead women no jewel and a dead Naraku...but as Murphy's law states that will never happen it is what i want...
