I need her…to live…” InuYasha said softly, weakly. He was blind, or that's what it felt like…this darkness was staggering, his senses where clouded, the only sense there was smell. And it was only the scent of dust and dirt. InuYasha tried to sit up but found he was pinned down by a wall of soft spongy material. If felt like soil, it smelled like soil, so, it must be soil he thought. Suddenly his senses where overwhelmed by the powerful aroma of Lavender and blinding light, he felt himself being lifted from the darkness and he smiled “Thank you…” he mumbled before losing consciousness, due to lack of air.

Sango grit her teeth as she tore savagely through the soil beneath her. He was there, she knew he was. She could feel him. She needed him with her, by her side; there could be no one else. She heard Kagome and Miroku yelling as they approached, but she ignored them. She nearly jumped for joy when she felt and saw the rough fabric of his bright red Haori armor. Soon, he was lifted from his would be tomb and she heard it, just barely, his voice as he spoke the words “Thank you.”
