Sango stayed by his side, all day and all night. She never left his side; she fed him and kept an ever watchful eye over his still form. She even lay with him on some nights, keeping them both warm in the cooling night air. On the Fifth day of this routine, he stirred, his eyes opening as if twin sunsets of molten gold where burning in the sky. She was asleep when he looked at her, the others where outside of the hut, he could hear them talking but he ignored them for the moment, she was his prime concern. He moved to kneel at her side and found himself watching her sleep. She was very beautiful and he out any other male knew that. She stirred in her sleep and amber optics softened. He loved her. Without a shadow of a doubt he loved her. He moved to stand and grunted softly, his form tensing but standing tall none the less. He made his way to the door and found himself leaning against the door frame of the hut and staring into the faces of his companions.
“InuYasha! You shouldn't be up.” Came kagome's voice first “I'm fine…”He growled gruffly to her, to which she brushed off and walked over to him and checking him for wounds “I said I'm fine!” he snarled at her, she huffed and walked back to her seat. InuYasha sighed and turned back to the hut, sitting upon his earlier resting place. “I need to tell her. But…I feel like I can't…” He'd say softly..

“Kagome, do you get the feeling he is on edge?” Miroku asks, his violet gaze fixing on her “Yeah, I do, but why? You don't think he knows…?” Kagome said, trailing off in their silent implication of something unseen. “I hope not…though he of all of us would be able to sense that.” Miroku said as he gazed into the sky “I hope he does not despise us for our actions Kagome-Koi…” Miroku stated softly and Kagome remained silent, thinking of what this could mean if InuYasha had scented them both. They would both be berated and hated or he would accept them. She hoped it was the latter of the two choices so she would not lose him as a friend.

Sango stirred, shifting sleepily. She sat up and looked about, seeing InuYasha sitting against a wall with his eyes closed. InuYasha's eyes opened and he turned his amber gaze onto the chocolate brown ones of his beloved. Their gaze never broke, unwavering. Sango spoke” How are you…?” She asked gently, standing to walk to him. “Yeah…” He said softly, watching her as she sat down beside him. “I was scared for you…” she suddenly blurted out, looking away. InuYasha was silent for a moment before he spoke “Thank you…Sango-kun…” he said softly, a hint of care in his voice. Sango's eyes closed as she heard his words, and she replied to them, softly, desperately trying to keep her voice steady. “For what…?” she asked softly, finally gaining enough courage to look at him. “For being there…” He said softly, suddenly pulling her into his arms. Sango's breath caught as she was pulled against him. Her heart rate sped up and he heard it, her s cent changed and he smelled it and she shivered and he felt it. “Sango…I need to tell you something…”He said softly, his eyes closing as he nuzzled into her raven tresses, having freed them from their bindings. Sango was unable to stop the soft whine that escaped her throat as he held her against himself, her fingers curled into the fabric of his Haori and her eyes closed tightly. “W-what…is I-it…?” she stammered, struggling to keep her sanity due to the senses being in overdrive. “I love you.” He stated softly, purring those three words into her ear. Sango's body went critical as he spoke those words, Her sense of touch was in the red, his touch sent wave after wave of pleasure into her trembling form, his voice sent chills rolling like thunder up and down her spine. And her sense of smell, she swore, could have been just as strong as his. She could smell him and the smells that made him, him. InuYasha growled lowly as he kissed the top of her head.” I need you with me…” He purred softly and she nodded, unable to do anything else. InuYasha sighed softly as he held her, he loved her scent and the way she felt pressed against him like this. To his surprise it was him to make the first move. Sango pulled back and pressed her lips hungrily to his, her arms coming to wrap around his neck.
InuYasha pushed her onto her back, laying over her. He growled softly as her tongue slipped from her mouth to greet his, their tongue's twining about one another's gently. Soon, they broke apart for air and Sango was panting gently “Inu…Yasha…Onegai…make me yours…” She whined, clutching him close to her form. InuYasha growled lowly and spoke softly “I will…” He purred.
