This is a fanfiction!!)If you forget the word meanings they're in chapter1!^-^-----------------------------------------------Chapter two:Kagome: The jet black hair of the human girl blew in the wind. Her hair hung about two inches past her shoulders. She wore a blue skirt along with a white shirt that had a blue collar with a red bow that tied in the front. She wore socks and shoes that were cute and yet let her run. (AN:Just like in the series just instead of green her outfit is blue.) Kagome was her name.Kagome looked down at the sacred jewel in her hands with her chocolatey,brown eyes. The kitsune youkai child had asked her to protect it. She would do that! She would do whatever she could to protect it! No matter what it took!Kagome looked down at the jewel around her neck. She had added a necklace chain to it. She figured it'd be harder for enemies to snatch it this way.~~ Inuyasha ran through the forest. 'A girl....That's all I know about her and that she is or was in the village ahead.' Inuyasha thought to himself. A beautiful,soft scent came to Inuyasha. He couldn't help, but follow it.~~ Kagome traveled within the forest. She was tired and wanted to go home, but she had just recently found out that her family had been killed and her home had been burned down by bandits. It was late within the night at the current time. Kagome heard a twig snap and looked up to see a hanyou. His hair was silver and fell down to his lower back. He also had doggy ears.Inuyasha looked at the girl in front of him. She had strange clothing. He couldn't help, but notice the jewel around her neck. " I see you have the jewel." Inuyasha growled.
~~ Kagome blankly stared at the boy. 'What in the world am I a fifteen year old miko doing in a forest alone with this jewel ? Also I am infront of a hanyou who most likely wants this jewel!' Kagome thought as she looked at the jewel and then the stranger. "Y-yeah..Why? Who are you?" She inquired.
~~ "Hmph! Inuyasha is the name.. Just hand over the jewel!!" Inuyasha answere as his anger rose. He did not receive the jewel, but instead received a glare.
~~ Kagome had been in archery since she was six years old. She had very good aim. "I'm not just handing the jewel over!" Kagome argued.
~~ "Stupid human! I'll just take it by force!" He ran towards her.
~~ Kagome knew an arrow wouldn't harm him, but what if.. She pulled out an arrow. This caused Inuyasha to stop and chuckle. She aimed to the sky and shot.
~~ Inuyasha gasped. "Argh! Why did you?!" Inuyasha jumped into the air. He slashed at the arrow. He knew she had attached the sacred jewel to the arrow. A strange light appeared, but the jewel disappeared.
~~ A strange shard appeared on the ground in front of Kagome. She picked it up. "A piece of the jewel?" Kagome said aloud.
~~ "What did you do?!! It could be in thousnds of shards! Now I have to find it! You fool!!" Inuyasha yelled.
~~ "My name is Kagome!!" Kagome yelled and turned to see an old lady.
~~ "Ye two will have to find the pieces and put it together. I see ye have miko powers girl and you boy..You are worthy in strength..Ye two will be needin each other." The lady stated.
~~ "Hmph..As long as I get the jewel..." Inuyasha almost growled. He turned to the old lady, but she had left. He grabbed Kagome's arm. "C'mon, Let's get you home."
~~ Kagome bit her lip. "Today...My family and home..Well..They're gone.." She said fighting tears."Umm....I..I..Guess you could.." Inuyasha paused not wanting to finish. "Stay with me." It then began to rain.Kagome nodded and began to shiver. She followed Inuyasha. She didn't make it on her own to Inuyasha's home. She had accidently tripped and almost anyone could tell she was tired. Inuyasha had to carry her the rest of the way.When they finally got to his home Kagome couldn't help, but ask "Where's your family? Also..Where are your friends?"
~~ "All my friends left and everyone in my family is dead or an enemy" Inuyasha replied.
~~ "I'm so sorry." Kagome apologized.
~~ About twenty minutes later the two finally fell asleep. They'd had a good meal,cleaned up and decided to get up early to start their journey.
