Chapter three:Journey On... :
Kagome sighed as she walked behind Inuyasha. They were going from village to village on their search. They'd been walking along when Inuyasha's stomach growled. "Here, why don't you eat this?" Kagome offered him some food.
"Hmph! You may have poisoned it." Inuyasha stubbornly protested.
"Why don't you trust me? We've gotten through so much." Kagome sadly said.
"A few demons, so what!" Inuyasha argued.
Later that night had been quiet. Inuyasha finally broke the silence. He explained the whole situation between Kikyo, Naraku, and him.
Kagome gasped out. "Inuyasha! I'm sorry!" She hugged him and continued, "I didn't know! Please trust me! I want to be your friend!"
"Yeah.. Well, get off of me.. Please!!" Inuyasha growled, pushing her away.
Inuyasha sat awake. 'Kagome.. She wants to be my friend? She can tell when the jewel shards are close.." Inuyasha thought. He shook the thought off and slowly drifted to sleep.
Inuyasha and Kagome went through much toward the closing of the month. They were friends, but argued alot! They had ran into an okami youkai named Koga. Koga had taken a liking to Kagome. Koga came around once in a while, but was usually busy. Inuyasha had grown jealous of Koga, but he would never why he was jealous and wanted to fight with Koga. He would only give a 'hmph!'.
Inuyasha sighed. He'd never told Kagome, but on the night of the new moon he'd turn human. That night was tonight, but when the sun came up he'd be a hanyou again.
