Chapter 6: off to the park we go!

They both began to blush as they chatted about how their day was.

`He can really make good conversation. He actually has a life other than the thought of his power and the jewel.' Kagome thought.

`She is really cute when she talks. Wow, she didn't tell me to `sit' yet. I must be doing good for her not say that yet.' Inuyasha thought smiling at her.

They finally got to the park and set their blanket down in front of a lake near the bridge they met by earlier. They both found their spot on the blanket and began to eat and look at the stars. Kagome told him to `sit' closer, but the minute she said, "sit" she regretted it. Inuyasha went flying into the ground face first. Kagome apologized a billion times and Inuyasha said that it wasn't her fault.

Kagome realized that he really didn't care and she was quite surprised. She and Inuyasha talked some more. The night was so enchanting that she fell asleep.

When she woke up she was laying on Inuyasha with some flowers on her.

"You are finally up" Inuyasha said smiling towards her.

"What are all these flowers about?" Kagome said. She was getting freaked out.

"Can't I do anything to show you how I feel bitch? I'm sorry I want to say stuff, nice stuff, but I just cant!" Inuyasha began to blush. Kagome's smiled. She knew what Inuyasha was trying to tell her she just wanted to see if he could do it on his own.

"Well you said to your friends that I was your `boyfriend' whatever that is, but a `boyfriend' is kind of like a mate right? Which that means that you love me, and Kagome; well, I love you too. But my kind of love is bigger. Kagome I love you so much that I want to live my life with you. I want to grow up and have pups with you. I would die for you. I know you don't feel the same way. You are much better off with some human boy anyway like that `hobo' kid. He treats you like a man should treat you and I treat you like Miroku treats a wench. But I just wanted to tell you how I felt about you since the time was right." Inuyasha didn't look at Kagome after telling her this and looked away in silence.

Finally Kagome spoke. "Inuyasha…" Kagome looked at him.

"KAGOME!"
