Chapter 7: Interruptions at the park!

Kagome and Inuyasha jumped up at the same time and looked around from where her name was being called.

"HOJO?!" Kagome spat out both surprised and disgusted for ruining her moment. She got off Inuyasha and walked over to him to see what he wanted.

"Hi" hojo said slightly blushing. Inuyasha began to growl through his teeth. Hojo heard him and looked behind Kagome at him. Inuyasha gave him a death glare. Hojo gulped.

"What are you doing here?" Kagome questioned impatiently.

"W-well I wanted to talk to you…Kagome I have been thinking about it a long time and I finally figured out how much you mean to me…" hojo looked at her to make sure she was listening. Kagome just stared and he continued.

"K-kagome, I-I, love you" hojo immediately turned his face away from her. Kagome blanked out and then recovered. Inuyasha was so ticked off he was going to grab the tetsusaiga and slash his throat. But knowing that the tetsusaiga wouldn't kill a human, he decided to just see what Kagome's response was.

"I am sorry Hojo. But my heart doesn't feel the same." Hojo and Inuyasha both looked at her wide-eyed.

"NANI?" Hojo said.

"I am sorry. I don't love you." After she told him that she walked near Inuyasha, sat in his lap, and cuddled in his chest.

"I love him."

At that moment Inuyasha and Hojo were stunned. They couldn't believe it; Hojo was dumped, by Kagome and Kagome just dumped one of her own kind just for Inuyasha.

"Oh- I see… well I hope you guys is happy together. Kagome I only wish for you to be happy even if it isn't with me. Well since you have made your choice, I guess there is no point in stopping you…bye Kagome… I'll see you in school!" Hojo choked back a few tears and ran away pretending to smile.

"Bye Hojo…" Kagome said softly still clutched to Inuyasha's chest.

After Hojo left Kagome looked up at Inuyasha who had a blank face on.

"What?" Kagome asked confused.

"I-I am just so surprised that you would choose me, a useless ugly hanyou like me, over one of your own kind. I am just surprised that's all." Inuyasha looked away from Kagome. Kagome could see shame in Inuyasha's eyes.

"First off. You are not ugly at all. You are beautiful. Those beautiful amber eyes, your stunning silver hair that shines in the sunlight, your beautiful body, and-." Kagome looked up at inuyasha and touched his normal human ears. "and I miss your wittle doggy ears!"

Inuyasha blushed.

"Even if you are half demon or human I love you either way. I don't want you to change. Sure when the time comes and the jewel is completed, I will let you decide what to do with it. You can use it to become human, or use it to become demon. I don't care. As long as I am with you I don't care what we do."

"Really?" Inuyasha asked with a smile on his face.

"Yes"

"Wow"

"What is so `wow'?"

"It is just that for once, for once in my entire life other then by my mother I am loved and am accepted. I mean you make me fell special and loved like no one has ever given me. You knew how I grew up. Lonely and very miserable; I was kicked and tossed away like some piece of trash; no one ever liked me, or looked at me. That is why I began to hate humans. They always treated me like shit. Then you came along and changed everything." Inuyasha smiled and held Kagome into a tight embrace until someone else came to ruin it.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY WOMAN MUTTFACE!!!"
