Inuyasha: Geez get on with the story!

IYK: Inuyasha… I WAS GETTING TO IT ALRIGHT!!!! UNTIL YOU HAD TO INTERUPT!!!!!!!! *calms down*

Inuyasha: Geez you don't have bite my head off!!!! *Glares at IYK*

IYK: Whatever… grumpy mutt… *Inuyasha looks with an angry expression* Um…

Inuyasha: What did you just call me?

IYK: Um… Nothing! Well, all you readers hope you have fun reading this story! I have to run! JA ne!! *Runs*

Inuyasha: *runs after Keiya*

Everyone: *sweat drop*

Chapter 1: A New World

"Inuyasha, come on, let us rest a bit, we know you can walk long distances but we need our rest!" Sango and Kagome shouted out to Inuyasha. Miroku was already sitting down with Shippo; they have been walking for 10 hours straight.

"Feh… Fine we'll rest just for 20 minutes and we start walking again, ya got it?" He looked at kagome.

"30 minutes…" Kagome cocked an eyebrow and so did Inuyasha smiling.

"20," Inuyasha said back smirking.

"30 minutes, please Inuyasha we're tired here!" She sat down. Inuyasha looked at her, nodded, and sighed.

*In Kagome's era*

Keiya was coming from school and she was walking back to her house which was a long walk. It started to get cloudy, and the suns rays started to fade. She sighed, and right then it started to rain. "Why out of all these days today it has to start raining?' She whispered to her self. She began running as fast as she could but it was no use it started to rain harder. "Darn!" Once she got to her house she turned the knob but it was locked! She fumbled through her stuff to find the spare key, and she couldn't find it anywhere in her stuff.

She searched everywhere on her but no trace of the key. "This is just great! I'm having the best day of my life today!" Keiya said kicking the front door of the house. `I have better find a place to get out of this rain until mother gets home from her work, and Kagome's not here yet… again." she said to herself.' Keya looked around quickly and began searching for somewhere to keep the rain from falling on her and keep warm. She found a shrine, but she was told not to go in there, "What's the harm? It won't hurt her if they don't find out, plus, if she does find out; it'll be alright because she's always telling me to stay out of the rain or I'll get a cold." Keiya shrugged and decided to go into the shrine and ran quickly into the shrine.

"This place is old, a hundred years old, maybe even more!" Keiya exclaimed, wringing the water out of her hair. She squeezed out as much as possible out of her hair and shirt too. She looked at the old stairs within the shrine. "They don't look safe and it looks like they can break any second." She whispered to her self noticing the huge quantity of mold and old rotted wood on the stairs. Cautiously, Keiya stepped down on the first step and fortunately, it held her weight. She lowers her self to the second step but unluckily it snaps in half and she stumbles down the other steps. "Ow…" She groans, while she's rubbing the back of her head. "I told my self those stairs weren't safe," She said while rubbing her back also.

Once Keiya regained her tranquility, she notices the Well that is within the shrine was half opened half closed and it looked mysterious inside. She walks towards it and leans forward looking inside. "I wonder if there's anything still in it. Maybe it was used to put water inside or store stuff. She strained her eyes to see anything, "I can't see anything, maybe if I try to climb down…"

But before she could lift her self over the edge, Keiya fell down into the muddy ground; head first, "Sickening…" Once she got up her leg throbbed in a sharp pain. She looked down at her leg. There was blood dripping out of a deep slash in her leg, she looked stunned, `What happened to me!?" she screamed out." That was when she saw something glowing on the ground. Keiya picked it up and it shined even brighter than before. Her eyes looked at it closely and it looked like a purple crystal.

"So that's what sliced me… What is this jewel and why is it shimmering brighter?" She said aloud to herself. She slipped it in her pocket, and she began to climb the vine that was on the side of the well.

`What? I don't remember a vine…'

She shrugged and kept climbing even though her leg throbbed in pain. Once she reached the top of the Well, she saw a silhouette of a man. The man grabbed her arms and embraced her, or so it seemed. Right then Keiya tried to get out of his grip and squirmed right then she screamed, but the male voice whispered to her.

"Silence human! Do you want to be killed by demons!? And if you do not be silent, they will not kill you, I will!" The male voice said, at the moment she saw his face, it was dazzling, he had amber gold eyes with silver hair, and he had two burgundy stripes on both sides of his cheeks, with a purple crescent moon on his forehead.

The body Keiya was against, held her close to his body, but he was wearing something that felt quite soft. She nuzzled against, and he looked down.

`What is this woman doing, nobody has ever dared to do that…'

Keiya squirmed some more, but she didn't make a sound, and her squirming caused him to hold Keiya tighter. She then stopped squirming, "You reek of blood." He kept speaking with out any emotion what so ever, "They'll smell you and desire your flesh… We must run for your sake, and normally I do not help humans." He let her go and then hooked both of his arms around her waist. Then she and he were flying on what looked like a purple and black cloud.

Keiya glanced up at his emotionless face that looked cute, he looked serious, that made him look more attractive.

"Um… Excuse me?" Keiya said respectfully, but softly and quietly.

"Yes?" He said looking down at her which made Keiya's stomach flutter.

"Could you please tell me what is going on?" Keiya asked sheepishly.

"I will explain, after I take care of your leg. How did it occur, human?" He asked.

"This crystal did it… it's in my pocket, I can't reach it with you carrying me by my waist." Keiya said to him looking up.

"I see; you can take it out when we stop at my castle… What is your name?" he asked Keiya.

"Oh, I'm sorry; my name is Keiya, what is yours?" She told him.

`Keiya, gorgeous name… wait… what am I thinking?' He stated his name, "My name is Sesshoumaru; I am Lord of the western Lands." He told Keiya.

She liked his name, "it's a nice name…" He nodded, "What did you mean earlier by, you don't help humans?" She asked with certain inquisitiveness and trying to stop her self from drooling when he looked down at her.

"I am a full fledged Inu Youkai…"

"But you said demons would eat me, won't you?" She gulped.

"I am not that kind of demon, but if you do not hold your tongue, I will be sure to kill you in some other manner or another." Sesshoumaru said sternly. Keiya shut her mouth quickly. Not saying a word until they got to the castle or more or less to the castle.
