InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ New Playmate ❯ Bonecrushing Breakup. ( Prologue )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]

When Inuyasha's favorite boy toy breaks things off before any real fun his best friends vow to hook him up with a new playmate. Luckily a charming little wolf puppet is up for grabs, all strings attached.

Alright, I've been toying with this idea for a while, tossing it back and forth in my mind while I worked on Rivals in Love and Little Red. Finally, because I can't seam to work on Blood that Binds I'm writing this for you. Hope it makes up for making you wait a bit longer for the conclusion to the Blood saga.

I realize I haven't really done my sadistic side ANY justice with the Blood series; I am quite pleased with this actually. So many wonderfully sadistic things are running through my brain I just wanna scream, but I'm in a library…so shush.

*chuckles evilly under her breath* Just wait until the later chapters, things will be getting really…um…something… *brain-fart* I can't think of the word… Just read! *grumbles*

Shakily the energetic collection of teens hopped off the buses, fanning out into smaller, tight little groups to talk amongst themselves and gaze at the lush mountain scenery surrounding them.

Stepping off the cramped buss Miroku streached his body to its full length before collapsing in on himself, forgetting for a moment what he planned to do as he absorbed the beauty he found himself in. His gaze traveled to the slim silver haired hanyou sitting, curled around his knees, on a wooden bench off to the side in the company of two young girls and a rather menacing boy. Shuddering slightly he wondered for perhaps the billionth time why he was doing this, then he spotted Sango waving to him with a smile and the reminder of just why this mission was so important.

Inuyasha glanced up as he approached, uncoiling his body in one graceful movement the hanyou stood to greet his favorite playmate. He truly was a sight and Miroku could feel the envious gazes from his classmates, male and female both, as the boy enveloped him in a hug. His shirt, open all the way down to his navel before being thrust into the waist of his pants, revealed a low cut undershirt with teasing glimpse of the hard muscle Miroku could feel pressed against his torso. His chrome hair hung down in a rarely seen braid and looped around his shoulders like an expensive scarf. His deep golden eyes were made of the same metallic substance polished with a deep heartbreaking vulnerability, but Miroku knew very well that beneath that painted weakness was a predatory gleam that could melt stone; and he was far easier to dissolve than stone.

Taking in a deep breath as Inuyasha pulled away he opened his mouth to begin his long, rehearsed speech.

“I wanna break up.” He blurted, so much for his speech, he mentally cringed as the defenseless façade shimmered and the vindictive side shone through. “I mean, I….I met someone and I really like her. It's not like we really did anything either…I just…I don't feel comfortable in this relationship anymore.” Oh yes, very uncomfortable, especially with the three deadly looking teens glaring at him from behind Inuyasha.

“You really mean it?' The cruelty in Inuyasha was swept away and substituted with his usual hurt puppy look. Inuyasha was so experienced with this that Miroku almost forgot what a manipulative young man he truly was in his need to comfort the half dog. Fortunately he did know Inuyasha's real side, and he stood up straighter, feeling a bit of power in this knowledge, power he hadn't had in all the months he had been dating the teen.

“Yes.” He said sturdily, his voice not breaking once, never faltering.

While Inuyasha's face was that of the heartbroken his eyes held a menacing anger that forced Miroku's feet backward a step.

“You will regret this Miroku,” came a soft, promising threat from the taller of the two girls behind his ex. Naraku smirk with a promise of much pain and humiliation as Kikyou and Kagome advanced on him.

“Leave him lone.” Inuyasha hissed, his eyes blurring with faked tears. “He made his choice; he'll just have to live with it.”

By now the small group was under close observation by the other occupants of the area and Inuyasha turned away from Miroku in an abused way, a perfect performance for the audience they had attracted.

`I truly cared for you Miroku.” He said softly, `but if this person is truly who you want than I wont stop you. Just… I wish that you could have felt something for me.” Lowering his head and pressing his hands to his chest he let out a broken sob. “I wish you feel like I do.”

Walking away slowly Miroku couldn't help but think. `No one deserves to feel your sadistic emotions.'
