Three days later, the night came quickly and the Inuyasha gang had stopped on the border of the western lands. Kagome was deep in thought, hoping that Ang was still alive. She knew that somehow she had to be. She laid down in her sleeping bag and stared up at the stars.

"Stop worrying Kagome. She's gonna be fine."

Kagome heard Inuyasha's voice from a tree somewhere nearby. His voice always seemed to help her, and she instantly fell asleep.

Ang walked a little further and finally gave up for the night. She hadn't eaten anything in three days and her feet were killing her. Ang had found that it was easier to sleep if she was both downwind and HIGH in tree. She found a perfect tree not far; it had both large branches for her to sleep on and was downwind so no demons could smell her. As she climbed the branches, halfway up, her hand touched something soft and silky. She looked down and saw long silvery white hair.

"Sesshou?" She said quietly.

As climbed around the branch and nearly fell off when she saw who it really was.

"Inuyasha!" She whispered.

Normally he would have heard her, but he was in to deep of a sleep.

"Inuyasha."

She pulled on the fabric of his kimono and he still gave no response. She tapped lightly on his should and he only twitched.

"Inuyasha, wake up." Ang said a little louder.

`Damn he's not a light sleeper in the least.' Ang thought to herself.

"Inuyasha. Come on, wake up damn it." She said a little louder still, only to have him try to push her away.

She climbed on the branch that he was on and looked at him. He looked so tired, so worn out. Then she figured that the others were probably somewhere close by. She wanted to wait until the morning to tell them she was here. She reached up and grabbed his ears softly. She had always wanted to touch them, but never had the courage. She felt them move under her fingers and she began to rub them as she had seen Kagome do the first time she saw Inuyasha. Ang couldn't help but laugh as Inuyasha started to purr in his sleep. She took her hands away and put them in her lap.

"So much like your brother, but so different." She said to herself.

"Inuyasha, WAKE UP!" She yelled in his ear.

The next thing she knew, Inuyasha had jumped up and threw her out of the tree. Ang screamed and closed her eyes and the ground came closer and closer. Time seemed to stretch on and she could only wait as she crashed into the ground. She squeezed her eyes shut and waited for the inevitable. But it never came. She felt something grab her and wrap its arms around her, pulling her close. She slowly opened her eyes and was shocked beyond reason to see who it was that caught her.

"SESSHOU! Oh god I thought I was gonna die!"

She threw her arms around his neck and buried her face in his shoulders.

"Let her go Sesshoumaru. Haven't you caused enough trouble?" Inuyasha's voice came from behind Ang.

Inuyasha figured that Sesshoumaru probably brain washed Ang for her to be so close with his mortal enemy like that.

"Leave him alone Inuyasha." Ang said and hugged Sesshoumaru closer to her.

"I came to tell you something important, I didn't know I would be saving your life." Sesshoumaru whispered in her ear.

"What is it? What's wrong?" Ang asked worriedly.

By now, Miroku, Sango, Shippou and Kagome were awake and coming to see what had happened. Kagome nearly screamed with relief when she saw Ang.

"Ang, Oh my god, your ok."

She ran up to her and grabbed her.

"Of course I'm ok. I hate to do this, but I need to talk to Sesshou alone for a minute ok."

Kagome looked next to Ang and just now noticed Sesshoumaru standing there.

"YOU!" She was clearly mad.

"It's ok. He's a good guy."

Sesshoumaru smirked and Ang's words and grabbed her hand.

"Come, we have matters to discuss."

He pulled her along as Ang waved to her friends. The others stood there in shock, not knowing what was going on.

"I think she, has, lost, her mind." Miroku said quietly.

The others nodded and went back to camp.
