Well with that said on with the story.

O wait, almost forgot I have to do some sort of disclaimer thing-a-ma-jig? Right well I don't own Inuyasha, although, one day(when I win the lottery) I will buy it.

On with the Story…

Last time…

With that Sango left and Kagome went to sleep dreaming of ways to perfect her plan. She would spend the day with Naomi after all…

Slowly and softly the door to Kagome's room opened and then closed. Someone walked up to Kagome as she slept, then shook Kagome lightly.

"mmmm…" Kagome mumbled.

"Milady Kagome, please mistress wake up…"

"Mmmm…mm…" Kagome murmured yet again.

"Please mistress WAKE UP!" this time she shook her violently.

"MMM… WHAT IS IT?!" Kagome yelled a little put out.

"Mistress, Sango instructed me to fetch you. You must hurry mistress. There isn't much time," she paused waiting for Kagome to get out of bed, "Here put this on." She stated reverently handing Kagome a cloak and uniform.(can't ya'll just picture kags in a uniform… fine it's just me)

"What is this?" Kagome questioned while looking over the articles of clothing that were foreign to her.

"This is the maid's uniform. Sango tells me you'll need it."

"Oh yes, thank you. When I leave please tell Sango that she is welcome in my room and to fulfill her side of the plan."

"Yes, Ma'am."

"Alright let's go! By the way I am not quite familiar with your name… Pray tell me what it is? I am sorry, but you must be new.."

"Why yes, I am new and my name is Kanna."(Not evil in this fic, sorry, I think she cute in series)

"Well it is nice to meet you and welcome to our home."

"Why thank you madam, I am truly honored to be here."

"Oh and Kanna, the name is Kagome, all my friends call me Kagome, not ma'am or madam or anything else." `Although Inuyasha does refer to me as wench, bitch… Focus Kagome!' Kagome found herself straying to such betraying thoughts as Inuyasha and his firmly chiseled abdomen, long locks of silver-white hair, burning amber eyes and the adorable little triangles atop his handsome head. `SNAP OUTTA IT KAGOME!! Focus on the task at hand!' Even after reprimanding herself she couldn't help but linger on the wonderful thoughts of him that kept floating before her eyes, that is until Kanna shattered her haze.

"Mistress Kagome, are you going anytime soon?" Kanna asked, her voice filled with playful sarcasm. (is there such a thing?)

So they left after Kagome had changed of course. She pulled the hood of her cloak up over her raven-blue tresses so she would be paid little mind and thought of strictly as a servant. Kagome looked just like a chambermaid and that would definitely be of assistance. She did not wish to be recognized, for that would blow her cover.

The plan was (as I am sure you've all been wondering by now, I seriously questioned keeping it from you, but then the story wouldn't make any sense, and that wouldn't work in the end, and now I am babbling, so bring forth the plan…) that Sango and Kagome would switch places. (you know like that movie with the prince who switched places with the… um… whatever he was… yeah babbling again…) Sango and Kagome looked almost identical (ok don't know how true this is, but work with me) hence they could switch with little to no notice. Kagome would dress in maids' cloaks and clothes and Sango in beautiful gowns of gold and silver.

Kagome ran to the stables, saddled and bridled Naomi, and set out for the training grounds she had built herself.

Kagome loved horses, although she didn't completely understand why. `I guess it's because they let me have freedom from the damn pressures of the palace.' Kagome thought.

Kagome truly did love Inuyasha, sure he wasn't all to nice to her but, as they always say actions speak louder than words and damn was the volume of his actions loud. (lol couldn't help it) Kagome recalled the many times he had been cruel to her, said mean things, or done something stupid, (you know guy stuff) `No matter what he had done I always won in the end,' she laughed to herself, `Inuyasha is a sucker for tears, which in my opinion isn't such a bad thing. It is good to know that even tough-guy Inuyasha has a marshmallow interior.' She left her thoughts at that not trusting herself to get any work done if she dawdled on them any longer.

As Kagome rode, she felt the wind gently pick her up and push her around, it was as if she were riding on a cloud. The wind blew her hair in all directions, but the thrust of her horse threw her hair behind her. Her robes, cloak and hair rippled and ribbonned in the wind, cascading down her back and the back of her horse. If anyone had been watching they would have thought Kagome and Naomi to be angels, delivering a message from God.

Little did Kagome know, someone was watching. `She is so beautiful.' The man thought, his golden gaze piercing through the shadows of the trees around him. `She is so beautiful and she doesn't even know it, doesn't know what it does to me.' He looked down at his ever growing, ever evident, arousal. `Damn it! Not again, I hate doing this, I would much rather be in Kagome.' He thought dreamily, and with that he turned to leave, so he could quickly and efficiently "relieve" himself. (lol a beautiful sight… awww… eww sorry nasty picture of jaken!! yuck, don't ask where it came from!)

"Ahh," Kagome sighed, and stretched as she removed herself from Naomi's saddle, as she stretched Naomi started to fidget, "Naomi, stand." Kagome said in a soft but firm voice that held nothing but affection. Naomi's fidgeting immediately stopped. "Good girl." Kagome said as she began to cool down Naomi, walking her out and brushing her down.

As soon as she had finished with Naomi she began to set up, knowing since she had walked out Naomi she would just graze until she was ready to begin training.

`Stupid girl, doesn't she know no matter what she dresses in, she has a graceful step that enchants others,' he looked towards some villagers who had gathered upon seeing her gracefully get of her horse and being to set up, `Now I have to go watch her…' he said trying to convince himself at how much of burden it was, even if he knew he was going to enjoy her flying through the air, bouncing joyously with her horse, as she always did. (yes he came and watched her while she practiced, hehe stalker, although he'll never admit it) He began to think dirty thoughts of her bouncing bellow him but for a totally different reason. (if you catch my drift) `Damn it, Get a grip man! Think cold thoughts, icebergs, frozen nether regions, Sesshomaru in female undergarments,' with that last thought he shuddered, `Eck, yup that did the trick' he thought as he felt his arousal stop beating from the sudden rush of blood. `Ahhh all better back to watching Kagome, I have a bad feeling I am gonna be seeing a lot more of Sesshomaru in female undergarments.' With that last thought he jumped up into a tall tree after scaring away the "spectators".

Sorry To leave it here guys but don't feel like writing more. Sorry, I have my own ficcies to read. My suggestion, Blood-Red Eyes and Rider on a Pale Horse, really good fics…
