Night Time XIII

Sango's P.O.V.

I sat on the porch to my own little hut. I was proud and felt a bit luxurious because I had two rooms and a small kitchen area. This summer day was hot, so me, Kirara and little Shippou sat outside in the shadows, waiting for the evening breeze to come and cool us down. I was thinking about the past, how we fought to complete the jewel and avenge our loved ones. Kagome had gone back through the well, never to return. Miroku, the perverted monk… actually I have no idea where that are right now, although I was certain that he was up to no good. My poor brother, he had chosen to join our family in the afterlife.

I cursed silently when I felt tears roll down my cheek, when was the hurt going to stop? I used the sleeve of my kimono to wipe the tears away and I forced myself to think of something else. I looked to where old granny Kaede had her hut. Outside was Inuyasha. I saw him take up the axe and he began chopping wood. I smiled gently.

Inuyasha had a rough exterior but a heart of gold. He helped Kaede with ever she wanted, and when he thought nobody was around, he called her granny as well. She was the only family he had. Ok, so Sesshoumaru was still around, but that asshole was still after the Tessaiga, so he really didn't count. Shippou could perhaps count as family as well, the little kitsune was always with Inuyasha when he wasn't with me or Kirara. I patted the little boy on his head; he slept on my arm, dead to the world. I heard a low purring sound and he snuggled his face into my breast. Something inside me jolted and I swallowed hard. The wish to have more children came into my mind again. As things looked now I was never going to have children of my own. I was scarred and strong, not the kind of trades men looked in a woman. My heart cried silently and I pushed that wish back into my soul again. I looked at Inuyasha again and my eyes widened. The hanyou had taken off his haori and shirt and was now standing in only his red hakama. Every time he lifted the axe I could see the muscles play under his skin. I caught my self thinking about what it would be like to touch his biceps, would they feel as hard as they looked? I licked my lips, my eyes never moved away from his appearance.

Normal P.O.V.

Shippou stirred in his sleep and he opened his eyes. Sango was beginning to smell funny. Almost as sweet as honey. He got up and sniffed her again; she didn't seem to notice him at all. He followed her intense gaze and saw her look at Inuyasha.

- Sango? Why are you looking at Inuyasha like that? he asked innocently and yawned.

- Ehh, nothing special. I am sorry I…

Sango put Shippou away and got up and walked inside the hut. Kirara and Shippou looked lost for a few seconds and then they ran over to Inuyasha.

Inuyasha saw the two demons and he smiled inwardly. He liked them and he liked to have them around. He put down the axe and caught the little kitsune as he bolted into his arms.

- Where's the fire runt? He teased the boy and ruffled his hair.

- Sango is acting weird, said Shippou.

- Oh, really? Why do you say that? asked Inuyasha and looked at the hut where Sango lived.

- I was sleeping in her lap, because it is so warm, but I woke up when she began to smell funny, I saw her look at you, she looked really, really weird and then she walked inside.

- She smelled funny?

- Yeah, just like honey, it was as thick as honey too, said Shippou and looked very confused.

Inuyasha's heart dropped to his stomach and then it came back up again. Could it really be that Sango….? Nahh, she couldn't, could she??

- Are you sure Shippou-chan?

- Yeah, ask Kirara, she smelled it too, said the boy.

- Alright, I believe you Shippou. I am sure that is anything serious. Women can behave strangely sometimes, just ignore it ok?

- Ok Inuyasha, but what if she is ill?

- She is not ill, sickness has a very foul stench, you know that. Did she smell bad?

Shippou shook his red head.

- Then she is alright. Come and help get some wood to granny Kaede, said Inuyasha and put the boy down again.

- Ok Inuyasha.

They gathered a lot of fire wood and carried inside Kaede's hut. Inuyasha shot a quick glance at Sango's house but she was not to be seen. He knew what Shippou had smelled, his description of the smell was very good. He had smelled it a couple of times before on Kagome and some girls in the village when they had been courted. But if he were to interpret Shippou's words, Sango had been very aroused. But why? What was it that had caused such a feeling inside her? She had been sitting on her porch, with Shippou and Kirara in her lap, nobody had been around except him….

Inuyasha stopped dead in his tracks, his head spun around and looked towards her house again and now he could see Sango stand in her doorway, looking intensely at his backside. When she saw that he was looking at her she blushed and rushed inside the house again. "Sango…???" her name echoed through his head and then he entered Kaede's hut.

Kaede saw the frown on Inuyasha and once Shippou was outside, playing with Kirara she asked him.

- Inuyasha? What is the matter?

- I am not sure Kaede-baachan, Shippou said that Sango was acting weird and that she smelled funny, said Inuyasha before he stopped himself.

- Smelled funny? Kaede was confused.

- Yeah, I think I might know what it is, but I am not sure.

- And what do you think it is?

He shook his head, that was something she not was going to lure out of him. Not until he was completely sure about the whole ordeal.

- I will go over to Sango, see to that Shippou and Kirara stays here ok? asked Inuyasha.

- Alright Inuyasha, but when you know anything I want you to tell me..

- I will baachan, I will.

And with that he walked out of her hut and back to Sango. He fished up his haori and shirt on the way but he never bothered to dress himself before he entered her hut.

Sango thought she was going to flip her lid when Inuyasha marched inside her living room. He slumped down against the wall with his haori resting in his lap. He looked at her with his amber eyes and she found it hard to keep eye contact, all she wanted to for the earth to open up and swallow her whole. "She looks like a trembling autumn leaf…" he thought as he looked at Sango. She wore a dark blue kimono with a simple light blue sash. He knew that her womanly features were hidden underneath all that silky textile. The kimono was worn and he knew that if she agreed to mate with him he had to find her some more clothes. No mate of his should never go unprovided. He hunted and made sure that they had enough to eat.

- Hey Sango, something's bothering you? asked Inuyasha, his keen nose was on high alert. Indeed, Shippou's nose had been right; she did smell like thick honey and those adorable blushes on her cheeks, she was up to something that's for sure.

- No, just feeling a bit woozy, probably the w-weather, whispered Sango.

- Woozy? Come on Sango, you are lying and I want to know what it is? You aren't sick or anything? "Keh, sick… love sick perhaps?"

- N-no I am not sick… I am sorry Inuyasha, but…

Inuyasha snorted again and got up on his feet, he let his haori lie on the floor and he stretched his arms into the air and yawned and BAAAM!! her scent almost knocked the roof off the house. "Why didn't you tell me Sango?" Now he was sure that it was him that caused her to react in such way. And the whole thing just got a lot spicier when she was ovulating. He knew about her cycles and sometimes he had a hard time not knocking her to the ground and give her what her body wanted. But now… now there was no turning back for the hanyou, he would make sure that she never got to give herself to anybody but him. He took a step forward.

- Are you lonely Sango? Do you have trouble sleeping at night?

- W-what are you talking a-about Inuyasha? stuttered the taijya and blushed darker red.

- Perhaps your fingers get cursed just like Miroku's hands and wander all over your body in order to relive you of that heated tension?

Sango couldn't believe what she heard. She backed away when Inuyasha took another step closer.

- I could help you with that if you want…, purred Inuyasha as his hands moved down to the knot that held his hakamas up.

- H-help me with w-what?

- If you ever have the need of a man I would be glad to be of service, he said darkly.

- But…? W-what?? INUYASHA ARE YOU CRAZY??!! she shouted, her ears was going to be permanently red after this.

- Don't lie to me Sango, I can smell your body's desire to mate and I would be happy to be the one to relive you of it. You are a very beautiful woman Sango.

Sango was sure that her friend had lost his mind. Never had he acted like this towards her before, sure he could be rude and foul mouthed but this?? This was downright wrong. And his words did not help her at all. It was the other way around; all she could see in her mind's eye was how they played around in her futon, naked bodies rubbing against each other, skin touching skin.

- Are you telling me that you don't want to indulge in some carnal pleasures Sango?

- S-stop talking like that? she ordered and pointed at him.

- Tell me the truth Sango…

- SIT!!

Inuyasha still flinched at the word but then he smirked and made a swift move and caught her arms and pulled her close to his naked chest. Her scent spiked again and he growled softly.

- Shippou was right you know, he purred and nuzzled her cheek with his face.

- W-what?

- You do smell like honey when you are aroused. And if you blend that with your fertile scent…. Man I could stay here with my nose buried in your belly you know.

Sango yelped a bit when his mouth began kissing her neck. She closed her eyes and melted into his warm body. She wanted him, gods, she loved her best friend. But what did he feel about her??

- Inu… Inuyasha-kun… s-stop, please s-stop, she begged him with a shaky voice.

- Why…?

- I.. we need to talk…

- What is there to talk about? asked Inuyasha and reluctantly pulled away from her neck. - You want me and I want you… what's to talk about?

- So you just want to "do" me in order to help me? asked Sango with a snarl.

- Yeah…

- You JERK!!

Sango slapped him right over the face and then she pushed him away from her body. Inuyasha rubbed his cheek and looked at her. She had gone from aroused to flaming mad, that was something his inner demon found to be a really turn on. His amber eyes flashed red for a second.

- You insensitive, egotistical, thick headed bastard!! If you think I am that desperate you can think again!! I don't want something cheap.. I want a family Inuyasha. I want a husband, some kids to play around with Shippou and Kirara. I want…

She broke down and began crying. She fell to her knees, her face buried in her hands.

- What do you want Sango? What more do you want? asked Inuyasha and sat down behind her and pulled her into his lap.

- For you to love me Inuyasha… love me…, she cried as she pushed her face into his neck.

He could feel her tears like hot rain against his skin and he smiled gently and kissed her forehead.

- My little taijya, always so brave and strong and yet so vulnerable. I never meant it like that, when I take a mate I will keep her with me forever. It will never be something just for the night; it will be for the rest of our lives Sango.

- H-huh?

- I am sorry Sango, I should have done this the right way from the start. I just got carried away when your scent spiked earlier. Sango, would you like to be my mate, the woman that will give me some pups when we are ready to have them and do you want to be the woman that lives by my side until death takes us apart? asked Inuyasha with sincerity.

Sango was speechless and she looked up into his face and he smiled gently, waiting for her answer.

- What is your answer Sango?

- Yes.

There was no hesitation and Inuyasha fired off a brilliant smile and lowered his head and kissed her gently. He growled into her mouth when her arms snaked around his neck to hold him close then she pulled away a bit.

- You know Inuyasha… I would love for you to sire some pups right away with me, she whispered and then she looked away, feeling a bit awkward with her forward wish.

- Are you sure Sango?

- I am very sure.. I've been thinking about you for quite a while now.. And I see how you handling Shippou and Kirara, you will make a great father, said Sango with a blush.

- Thank you Sango and you will be the perfect mother to our pups, said Inuyasha and nuzzled her neck.

His lips found hers once again and this time there was no more interruptions.

Inuyasha's hands found their way inside her kimono, feeling a bit desperate of not touching her skin. But as soon as his hand found her bare ribcage it was not enough, he wanted to feel more. His hands were joined by Sango's and she helped him remove the upper part of her kimono. Her soft mounds were just perfect to his hand and he cupped them carefully. A low moan escaped into his mouth and he felt his manhood spring to life hearing that. Feeling her naked arms around his neck, one of her mounds pushed into his chest, gods how much more was a hanyou supposed to take? He pushed her gently until she was on her back and he was all over her.

- I am not teasing you koibito, I only prepare your body so you will be more receptive when I impregnate you, said Inuyasha.

Sango groaned when he kissed her gently. She needed him inside her, she had been longing for this far too long now. Her fingers found their way through his thick hair and up to his silky ears. She stroked her fingers around the bases of the ears and earned herself a dark moan from her hanyou lover. "He liked that did he?" she thought with a smile and rubbed the tips and a low growl came from him.

Inuyasha was loosing his iron will as she rubbed his ears. He had never had thought that her fingers would evoke such pleasure on his most hated appendages. He growled into her neck as he felt how his demon blood slowly took over. His amber eyes got an iris of blood red and his fangs grew in length. He needed his mate, he needed to mark her as such, he needed to make sure she bore him offspring. That was the only thing his demon blood cared for at the moment and he quickly removed his red pants and with a fluid motion he flipped Sango around so she lie on her stomach instead. His clawed hands gripped her hips and pulled her up and then he pushed inside her warmth. When he was buried to the hilt inside her he gave up a ragged howl of pleasure and it was echoed with her soft cries as he stretched her like nothing else. She arched her back and he bent forward and licked her spine as he held still inside her, giving her time to adjust to his intrusion.

Sango made an experimental push back against him and she heard him snarl into her neck. His animalistic sounds was sending wave after wave of pleasurable tremors over her skin. His claws was trickling the skin on her hips as he held her steady. She moaned when he pulled out of body but the moan turned to a silent scream when he plunged back inside her again. She was going to bare his pup, his demon side was going to make sure it was so.

They were stuck together for a long time, he fell back on his heels and he took her with him, holding her in a gentle and warming grip. As long as his shaft was stuck inside her wet warmth he was going to hold his bite in her neck. He could hear her whispered that she loved him over and over, and he began to purr deep down in his chest, trying to tell her that way that he loved her as well, that he now had pledge himself to her and their adoptive pup and future ones.

His "knot" disappeared and he pulled slowly out of her dark cave and he moved them both to lie down on the soft cushions she had on the floor. He turned her around to look into her face and he saw tears shimmer inside her eyes.

- Love, I didn't hurt you? he asked worriedly.

- No Inuyasha, I am just happy. Happy that I finally got someone to love and someone that loves me back, she whispered and stroked his face with her hand.

- I am pretty sure that my demon side pupped you today Sango, he said and his eyes moved down to her belly and he could see her swollen with his child.

- I am glad that Shippou will have a little baby brother or sister to play with.

- Me too Sango, me too.

He kissed her forehead and tucked her head under his chin and rode out the last waves of their joining.

Kaede chuckled when Shippou began questioning her why he couldn't go back home to his "mama". Kaede tried not to tell him too much, but in the end she told him that he was going to have a real mama and papa, they just had to get something fixed first. And then he perhaps would get some siblings to play with. Shippou glowed and began dancing around in granny Kaede's hut together with Kirara. Kaede smiled and continued to clean her herbs. Mm, indeed a good day for all it had been.
