Inu-Yasha and Miroku sat together in a small hut waiting for Sango, Kagome and Shippo to return. "You think they'll come back soon. It's been an hour." Miroku said he was bored of spending time with Inu-Yasha. The wind blew fiercely against the hut suddenly this wind came from a demon.

Inu-Yasha grabbed this Tetsiuga smelling the air saying to Miroku. "Kagura…" Running outside to confront her Inu-Yasha made great haste to fight. Strangely when they got out of the hut the smell of Kagura left and were replaced by the smell of blood. Inu-Yasha had a puzzled face looking back and fore eyeing all around. "Inu-Yasha is she near?" Miroku spoke looking around with his staff at hand. Inu-Yasha ran to the trees near by looking into the forest. "Her scent has left…now there is the smell of demon blood." Inu-Yasha spoke softly as Miroku stood puzzled. "Is the danger past?" Miroku called to Inu-Yasha. Inu-Yasha just ran deeper in to the forest to find Kagura's body for she was surly. dead.

Deeper and deeper he ran no knowing what he would find deep in the forest. Sniffing the air as he ran. Inu-Yasha smelled two scents Kagura's and another that he had never smelled but seemed familiar. Soon he came to a tree with claw marks in it three claws and a symbol carved into the tree saying as a sign to Inu-Yasha I'm coming for you. Near the tree lay a piece of what seemed to be Kagura. "She been mutilated torn to pieces." Inu-Yasha looked around him eyes staring in shock at the blood and remains of Kagura all over the trees blood driped everywhere and pieces lay everywhere. "Who has done this? Why have they." Inu-Yasha ran back to Miroku running in fear of an unknown enemy.

Sango, Shippou and Kagome had returned while Inu-Yasha was gone. "Inu-Yasha your back." Kagome waved at him as he ran. A shocked look remained on his face staring in fear towards them. "Something is near!" Inu-Yasha called out to them as he ran pasted in great fear.
