She looked into his eyes and wondered why he had did this. She had spent four years with him in training and only training. Why was he doing this for her? For her sister?

They walked back to the castle together. She kept taking glimpses at him. He walked to straight up, his nose was in the air like he was always waiting to pick up someone's scent.

They ate outside that day by the spring. There was a picnic by the water on a blanket.

"Inuyasha? What is all this?"

"It's for you. You have come so far in your training that I…I wanted to do something for you." He looked down at his feet and stuttered a bit.

"You did this for me?" She reached up and pulled on his cloak teasingly.

"That's what I just said isn't it."

"Aww Inuyasha." She stood on her tip toes and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed and turned away quickly.

"well come on let's eat."

They sat on the edge of the water for hours after their food was finished. They talked about everything and anything. Aurora spilled her heart out about her family, her friends, her childhood. Inuyasha watched her paitiently and waited for his time to speak. When it finally came he talked about the repression he felt by being a half breed and how much he wanted to be a full demon.

"I think it was a good idea Sesshomaru bought you."

"Well…thanks…I guess." Aurora looked out to the water.

"You know I didn't mean it like that." Inuyasha pulled her into him and hugged her. She sunk into even after he loosened his grip. He went to pull his arms off of her and she held them there. For the first time, she felt safe with Inuyasha. They laid there and watched the sun go down, then laid there even longer and stared at the stars.

"Are you happy here?" Inuyasha whispered.

"Of course."

"No I mean it. Are you really happy here?"

"Yes, I am really happy here. Why wouldn't I be?"

"It's not what you thought you would have for a life right?"

"No…" He looked in her eyes almost worried of her response. "It's better. I may have never found out about my powers if it wasn't for Sesshomaru. I may never have harnessed them if it wasn't for you. I may not even be alive if you didn't buy me."

"Do you miss Sesshomaru?"

"Inuyasha…don't go there."

"No I want to know…"

"Yes I miss him. He took me in when you wouldn't…and when he left you took me in. It was a strange concept but it works out. And I am happy. Now shhh…we finally took a day and night to relax, don't ruin it." She giggled and nuzzled into him a little more.

They didn't realize about how much they were going to relax because they fell asleep in each others arms.

"Mhhmmm" A voice cleared its throat. Aurora woke up to a shadow cast over the sun. She was so stunned that she exploded an aura out that sent the being flying to the ground. She jumped up and ran at the being with all she had. The being was under a heavy white cloak but was blocking her moves. She decided it was time to use the powers she had been taught to harness. She sent a ball of energy at the being who deflected it and sent of back at her. She quickly put up a shield then concentrated as hard and she could. One second she was there then the next she was behind him. She blinked and then blasted him with another ball of energy. The being lay on the ground. She ran over and uncloaked his head. It was Sesshomaru.

"Oh my god, Sesshomaru. Wake up…are you okay? Sesshomaru?" She was worried.

"Oh it is gonna take a lot more then that to stop me." He got up groaning. "Good to see you too Aurora. Miss me that much?"

"Oh my god…I have to go." Aurora ran away as fast as she could.

"What was that all about?" Sesshomaru asked Inuyasha.

"Could have been you scared the shit out of her! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"

"Well glad to see you too lil brother. I just got back and asked around where Aurora was. People said she was out here."

"Why are you looking for her?" Inuyasha snarled.

"I wanted to see how the little Miko was doing. I guess she is doing alright. Not as far as I thought she would be though."

"She is farther then most thought she would be."

"Not if I was training her."

"Well you aren't. REMEMBER! You left! Like I am now. Just leave her alone Sesshomaru." Inuyasha jumped away quickly to go find Aurora.

We'll see how far she is in training little brother. I doubt you have conquered those black eyes yet, he thought to himself.

Aurora hid in the room for two days. She told Inuyasha that she was sick and wasn't up to training. He knew something was wrong, but didn't think it had anything to do with Sesshomaru. Since she stayed in the room for the day, she was able to be alone for a little while. Inuyasha decided to go and work out physically for a while. Aurora paced the room. She couldn't get her mind off of Sesshomaru. Where had he been for the past 4 years? Why was he back? Why did he just leave? Her mind raced so much that it made her dizzy. She was just about to lay down when the door opened. Sesshomaru stood there.

"Hello Aurora." He grinned slyly.

"Hi."

"Miss me?"

"Why are you here Sesshomaru?"

"I wanted to see how far you have come in your training."

"Quite far."

"Not really. I could train you more. There are still things you don't know."

"And how would you know that?"

"Because I went to the land where you are from."
