Back w/ Inuyasha

“I hope their happy now that I'm out of the way…” He was searching for a demon that was sure to end his life for him. “What do you mean?” he whirls around coming face to face w/ another hanyou. “W-what?” The girl frowns at his obvious memory-loss or just plain stupidity. As she walks up to him she does an entire 360* around him trying to study him; soon she stops in front of him. “Nope he's just stupid…” the girl turns away, shaking her head. “What do you mean?!” She fake gasps in shock, holding her face in her hands. “You mean you don't remember me?!” her voice was dripping in sarcasm. “Who are you?!! Cause if you're no one important I want you to go away and let me get this over with!” The girl instantly puts on a look that would make anyone feel bad for her. “My name's Inuko, and please don't talk about stuff like that… I wouldn't want a friend of mine talking like that.” Inuyasha just stands there looking just as shocked as he feels. “I-Inuko?!” She turns around happy that he remembered. “You remember!!!” she throws herself into his arms crying.

Later

“I can't believe its you!” Inuyasha cries out for the millionth time. The girl in front of him giggles at his obvious enjoyment that has been shown through him picking her up and swinging her in a circle. “Inuyasha, stop, I'm getting dizzy from all this spinning!” A huge grin spreads across his face as he quickly sets her down. “I've missed you all these years! How was your trip to China?” She frowns as he says this. “What? What's wrong? Why are you crying?” Inuko looks up and gives a small reassuring smile to him. “Papa died there, but there was something he wanted me to give you… Here, it's a letter.” As Inuyasha opens the letter he becomes confused as to what it was about.

Dear Inuyasha,

This is Ryu here. Anyway if you are reading this I have died. I am sure you are confused but this letter is a request. A request that you come to own the most important thing in my life.

My daughter. It was her mother's wish that this happen. I'm sure you know of how Lee was able to see into the future.

Well she saw that you would soon be trying to end your life. I hope Inuko got there in time to stop you.

For you and her are meant to do great things for the world.

I'm sure it sounds like a pathetic excuse but please do not let my

daughter be lonely anymore. She does not deserve it and you do not deserve what has happened to you.

So please, you have my permission to take her as your mate & marry her.

As he looks up he has a look of disbelief on his face. “The letter says that your mother wished for us to become mates…” To his surprise Inuko looks at him with a look of pure joy and then pounces on him. What surprised him even more was that his demon was trying to claw its way to the surface in order to take what was his. “You don't have to hold it back.” Her voice sounding slightly deeper - not enough for a normal human to hear but a hanyou no problem. As he opened his eyes he sees that she'd transformed. And seconds later he was right behind her.

Sorry, not yet!!!!

4 hours later

As she regains consciousness Inuko notices that she's extremely sore in a certain area. “What's wrong?” Inuyasha asks. Inuko shakes her head and slips into the hot spring that was nearby. “I'm fine, just a little sore…” He didn't smell a lie so he followed suit; slipping into the hot spring along with his new mate. Though suddenly he realized that he hadn't mated Kagome, but he had just mated himself to Inuko no problem. “You're confused aren't you?” He turns to stare dumbly at the girl before him. She giggles as she gets out and starts to dress. “I wonder if their gone yet.” Inuyasha sighs; he knew he'd have to confront this sooner or later…

Back at his Hut

Inuko leads the way into the hut. “Yasha! Their still here!” As he walks in he expects to be bombarded by questions, but no, everyone completely ignores him and focuses on Inuko. “Who are you?” Inuko seems proud she gets to introduce herself so quickly. “My name's Inuko! I was Inuyasha's best friend when we were kids, but when we turned 7 I had to go on a trip to China with my father; who is dead.” Everyone except Inuyasha nods, because he thinks Inuko is being way to dramatic about their friendship. Though that would be a good thing since they can't know they mated yet. It would hurt Kagome if she knew that all those years he could've mated her he didn't. “Why are you guys still here?” Inuyasha says randomly. “Kagome said the baby can't leave until tomorrow, and anyway I have a job for you.” says Inuko as she hops up and proceeds to drag the confused hanyou outside the hut torwards where the god tree is. “What are we doing here?” Inuko grins at the otherwise unsuspecting hanyou. “I told kagome that the hut back there is hers now. In other words, you have to make your own house again.” Inuyasha gaps at her; then his expression suddenly turns angry. “You expect me to make another house by myself just because of what kagome decided to do?!” The girl turns back to him and grabs his face in her hands and places a kiss upon his lips. “Don't worry I'll be helping you and the other villagers decided to help as long as the hut will be close enough for you to get there in a short amount of time.” Seeing the girl in front of him smiling sincerely he couldn't be mad anymore; he just couldn't, especially when she's unconsciously giving him the puppy dog face, including the pout. “Alright, but you're not helping because you're pupped…” Inuko huffs and plops herself down on the forest floor. Suddenly her eyes brighten, “Inuyasha I have the perfect place to build the hut!” She jumps up and runs over to a spot directly in between the well and the tree. `Wait that reminds me of where the shrine is…' He smiles outwardly, “That's a good spot!” The girl grins as she continues he walk to him.
