Prologue

Tears poured down the young girls face as she stood before the one she loved. "Please! Please, don't leave me Inuyasha." She cried.

To her surprise he wrapped his arms around her. "Shh." He let out and rocked her back and forth as if she were a baby. "I'll come back, I promise." She looked up into his golden hues and he wiped her tears away.

"But what if you don't?" She argued. "Then what am I going to do?"

"You'll find a guy, get married, and live happily ever after. But don't worry I'll be back." He shrugged, but the thought of Kagome with another guy made him angry.

"I will not find a guy!" She said kind of surprised. "I love you!" Her eyes widened slightly and she clapped her hand over her mouth. Oops...that slipped.

Inuyasha's golden hues widened and he stared at her for a moment. "I love you...too." He finally managed to say.

"Then don't leave me." She cried and looked down. He placed his hand under her chin and made her look at him.

"I have too," He said staring into her chocolate hues. Ran started pouring from the sky and thunder boomed in the distance. Then Inuyasha did something that surprised them both. He kissed her. A long rain wet kiss. He pulled away and smiled. "But I'm coming back Kagome."

He then took off down the road as fast as he could his silver hair swaying behind him. "I love you Kagome!" He yelled back and continued on.
