A/N: Okay this fic may be nearing its end, but it will still take some time, I mean there's the confession part were Inu and Kag tell everyone they did the do, the finial battle, and maybe some chapters after that about children and such but I'll leave that up to you guys. Do you want chapters after the finial battle? And then there's all the chapters in between those that help the story flow together.

I have no idea what I'm going to do when its time to start my second fic, its going to be an AU fic and might be even longer than this one! And the one I have planned after that is going to be long I tell that just from the plot I thought up!

Morning came streaming threw her window and disturbed Kagome from her peaceful slumber. She wasn't all too happy about waking up, she wanted to stay right where she was. She was warm and seemed to be lying on something hard but smooth that seemed to be moving up and down in a slow steady pace. She looked up into the sleeping face of the most handsome boy/man she had ever seen, Inuyasha. All the events of last night replayed in her mind and when she remembered what they had done she started to blush and get a little aroused, that's when she noticed that he was still fully inside her and got even redder.

But she couldn't help but feel proud about what had happened. She loved him so much, and as she lay on top of him looking into his sleeping innocent face bathed in sunlight she could help but think, she had made love to the most the most gorgeous male that ever came into her life. Sesshoumaru was gorgeous, but in cold feminine way, like the first morning of spring still holding onto winter's chill. Kouga was very good looking, with his deep blue eyes, but something about him was too rough or maybe not rough enough Kagome wasn't sure. Hojo was nice looking but couldn't even dream of competing with her hanyou. No, no one was like Inuyasha, he was perfect the way he was, gorgeous, handsome, cute, wild, rough, but oh so sweet too.

He had his moments in each of them, In times like this when he was glowing in sunlight or at night when he shined with moonlight he was gorgeous, Whenever he had his trademark scowl in place he was still handsome, The ears along with whenever he looked confused made him cute, and he always seem to have the air of something wild, rough and untamed, but like last night he could be so sweet and tender.

Kagome had every intention of just getting up to shut the window and going right back to sleep in his arms, but how was she supposed to get p with him still inside her? Suddenly she was afraid to move or even breathe.

Inuyasha could sense the discomfort in his mate and began to stir. He opened his eyes to look into chocolate brown ones.

"What's wrong?"

"What do mean Inuyasha?"

"I could feel your discomfort, what's the matter?"

"Well I was afraid I'd wake you if I moved because well…"

"What?"

She shifted her weight a little just so he could feel what she was talking about. And both turned red.

"Oh…sorry"

"It's okay"

She lifted up and he pulled out of her. She settled back down next him with his arms around her when she noticed her neck hurt. Kagome touched her neck and then remembered what happened before she passed out.

"Inuyasha why did you bit me?"

"That's the mating mark it tells other demons that you're mine, it also helped to bind us together that's how I could feel your emotions but only when their strong enough, so if you're in danger I'll know. And now you will live as long as I do."

"Really!?"

"Yes, but I have to tell you that demon mating is dangerous too, if one of the mates die then the other will most likely die of heartache."

"Is that what happened to your mother?"

"Yes, she missed my father and began to slip into depression. I didn't understand back then because I was so little, but now that I look back she cried a lot and hardly ever smiled."

"I'm sorry"

"It's okay, it was a long time ago, and I have you now and the others."

"I'm glad you're happy"

"I'll be even happier when we have pups." He nuzzled her neck and snuggled into her. "I know we shouldn't have them until we defeat Naraku, I'll kill him for taking you away from me. For now I guess I should teach Shippou how to hunt and track."

"You and Shippou!?"

"Yeah and the runt and I came to an understanding, he's as much my pup now as he is yours."

"I love you Inuyasha."

"I love you too Kagome."

The couple lay in bed cuddling until the sweet moment was broken by Souta's yelling.

"I get to play my new video game!!"

"Souta calm down and unpack first."

"AW mom do I have to?"

"Yes, now get upstairs and do it and the quicker you will get to play the game."

That was followed by Souta's feet running up the stairs and Kagome's Grandfather yelling at him about how he should be that excited about helping with the shrine.

"Inuyasha I think we should get up and go talk to my mom about us."

"But what if she doesn't want you to be with me?"

"My mom loves you, she'll understand trust me."

They got up a bit reluctantly from the warm bed and dressed, Inuyasha in his fire rat clothes and Kagome in a pair of sweat pants and a white tank top. She blushed when she noticed that Inuyasha had been watching her get dressed.

"Have you ever heard of modesty?"

"Why you're my mate I can look at you naked."

"I'm still not use to it yet." She bent down to pick up her clothes from last night and the bra that he had ripped, when she stood up again she noticed that her lower abdomen hurt.

Inuyasha saw her wince and knew it was because of last night and mentally kicked himself for being so rough with her on their first time.

"I'm sorry I hurt you."

"It's okay the pain won't last long."

She walked out the door and Inuyasha was instantly at her side holding her hand as they walked down stairs into the kitchen. Her mother looked up from the refrigerator and smiled.

"Kagome your home!"

"Yeah I got here last night, where were you guys?"

"We went to visit your aunt Mayu"

"How is she?"

"Her and her new baby boy are doing just fine. Have you and Inuyasha eaten anything yet?"

"No"

"Okay sit down and I'll cook breakfast."

Before Kagome could Inuyasha pulled out the chair at the kitchen table sat down then pulled Kagome into his lap. He leaned into her back and pulled her tighter to him and rubbed the part of her stomach that hurt and started purring just enough for her to feel the soothing rumble. Kagome's mom was shocked and touched at the scene but didn't say anything when she saw her daughter blush, she would have to talk to her later.

It was then that Grandpa walked in the kitchen and saw his granddaughter in that situation with that demon.

"Get your demonic hands off my granddaughter!!" He tried to put one of his seals on him but Inuyasha just took it out of his hand and ripped it.

"Grandpa leave Inuyasha alone he's not hurting me!"

"But he's a demon!"

"I don't care if has demon blood he's never done anything to hurt any of us!"

"Kagome is right your being rude to the boy and he is the one who protects Kagome and keeps her safe, now just sit down and act your age."

At the request of Mrs. Higurashi, grandpa sat down with a pout, they always took that demons side. Inuyasha just went back to soothing his mate.

Souta came in after smelling food and hearing that his hero was here. He sat down next to Inuyasha and Kagome and proceeded to bombard them with questions about their adventures. When the food was done Kagome had to plead with him to let her sit in her own chair to eat.

"Inuyasha why did you have my sister in your lap anyway?"

"Because she humph" He was quickly silenced when Kagome slapped her hand over his mouth.

"It's none of your business Souta."

"That is enough you two just eat."

When everyone was done Kagome's mom asked her to help clear the dishes and Souta begged Inuyasha to come play his new game with him. Inuyasha wanted nothing to do but to stay with his mate and hold her but since this was her little brother he decided he should be nice to the kid.

Soon Kagome and her mom were left alone after her grandpa went his room to make more charms just in case the demon forgot his place.

"Kagome I couldn't help but notice how close you and Inuyasha seem. What's been going on?"

"Well mom ya see it's really hard to explain."

"It's okay Kagome you know I love him like a son for every thing he's done to take care you, you can tell me."

Kagome told her mom everything that had happened to her over the past few days, from how she was kidnapped and nearly raped to what had just taken place last night, that cause her to blush and stammer a bit but she got it out with encouragement from her mother. In the end she ended up in crying mother's arms.

"I'm so happy he got you back from that monster, and that you two are finally together I know how much you love him."

"I'm happy too." Kagome started to cry with her mom and this what Inuyasha walked in on when he finally manage to get away from Souta and the confusing battle game he kept losing. When he first saw Kagome and her mother in tears he was scared that something had hurt his mate.

"Inuyasha Kagome has told me everything that happened."

Now he was really scared, what if her mom had told Kagome that she didn't want her to be with him and that's why she was crying? So shocked had to be an understatement when her mother took him in for a hug still crying.

"I'm so happy that you two are together and happy."

"You don't mind that I'm half demon!?"

"No dear it never bothered me." Inuyasha then concluded that this must be one of those happy cries that women did.

"I still don't understand women." He proceeded to pat Kagome's mom on the back trying to clam her down.

The group heard all Roshi had to tell them last night and decide to wait for Inuyasha to come back with Kagome, they just had no idea it would take all night. It was now morning and they still had not come back yet.

"But Sango what if the well stopped working while he was over there!?"

Sango had been trying to calm down the worried little fox all morning when in fact she was worried herself. And Shippou was convinced he had lost another set of parents.

"I'm sure it hasn't, Kagome was probably not at home and Inuyasha decided to wait for her."

They both looked up at Kagura as she came toward them.

"I need to go and check in with Naraku before he gets too suspicious."

"Alright"

She transformed her giant feather and took off.

After a long talk with Kagome's mother and grandfather about her and Inuyasha about their relationship, where they would live if the well stopped working, the children they would have, and Inuyasha building a home for them since they decided to stay in the past. They packed up and went to the well. Inuyasha picked her up bridal style and jump in and out when they reached the other side, and sat off to tell their friends of the good news.

"Thank you for deciding on this time."

"I know you would want stay here for the forest and wild places, and you were always uncomfortable in my time with all the smells and noises. Besides I think I like it here more too.

He took her in his arms and kissed her deeply then they went to the village holding hands the whole way.

Touching the scene may have been to some, but for a certain dead miko it was disgusting.
