While the story line itself was pretty interesting, I have to say the spelling and grammar at times was a bit of...but that's just the beta in me speaking ^_^ Also...the chapters were just a little bit too short for my liking, but it was still a good story!

I am not sure if I can picture Naraku being interested in Kagome. After he was unable to completely detach Musou (Naraku's human part harboring feelings of love for Kikyou) from his body he will always have a love for Kikyou. Kagome and Kikyou just seem too different for him to now be attracted to her. It just seems a little out of his character. Still a very interesting twist thouh. I saw some spelling and grammatical errors. Punctuation specifically use of a comma instead of a semicolon and omitting the apostrophe in that's/thats. Also a few errors in verb tense seem vs. seemed, angry/angrier, slide/slid. And some capitalization errors after punctuation. Use of 'excepted' vs. 'accepted' when you were saying that Kikyou had not "excepted" Inuyasha. A sentence when you use 'he' and mean to use 'her'. All very minor things. Well written overall. I'll think I will check out the rest of the chapters too. Perhaps you will change my mind on the pairing.

*Sigh*...yeah,3rd review in 28 hrs, but really; was just beginning the "Dangers of Hurting My Mate" when you just HAD to wax on about *ahem*, white chocolate chip cookies??? Are you truly that cruel, glueing me to my seat w/this story, yet holding out the lure of whipping out some fast white choc chip cookies, and the batter, yep, I do make some MEAN cookies--am a humble baker, but the aroma...ah, the butter....the heavenly faint orange afterglow...fresh, soft,gooey from the oven...ok, this rather backfired upon myself, didn't it? Ok,vow of monkish-er,*miko*-ish silence review-wise til end. ;) Oh,while I'm elated to read all these chapters at once, felt badly for you enduring the terribly sprained ankle and wrenched knee; Not Fun--I know!! I am SOOOOO loving this complex tale you've woven. I fervently hope this is somehow noticed by Tokyo TV, or whomever currently owns the license so they can option this into an OAV (to squeak in under the ratings radar for your...ah...refreshing Inu/Kag lemonade. That too was extremely enjoyable, but mostly your story is compelling for its plots and sub-plots; excellent action scenes and top-notch characterization. While I wish Kikyou wasn't quite the target she seems to be in fandom--she too was betrayed by Naraku,recall--you certainly ensured Inuyasha would *never* turn to her! (though I'd hope he'd choose Kagome anyway,realize his bushido would remain intact, as the debt was certainly paid 100-fold when he was pinned to that magickal tree.Kagura is marvelously depicted, and it's a testament to Kagome's strength of character (thanks much for writing her like this; I'll bet she can use her fist capably too)that they become comrades. I loved your Roshi; yum,yum; his described appearance so complements his wraith youkai.Nice job! So, let me return to reading this intriguing foray into the Sengoku Jidai, and completely ignore everything attempting to pry me from this computer! I'm hoping also to see much MORE from you, from one Inu/Kag fan to another! ::raises dotanuki in salute::
