Ch..2 talking to a hurt family

"That won't be necessary ms. higurashi"

kagome turned her gaze to the man standing next to the woman.
She looked at the man, highly annoyed.
"Well, then you should teach your 'employee' how to respect people" kagome snapped cooly.
It was visibly clear that the lady was about to snap back when her 'boss' nudged her arm.
Kagome gave her the look that said 'don't be fooled by my appearance I CAN be a bitch'
"Umm, Ms. Higurashi, what exactly are you here for?" the man asked.
That snapped kagome out of her thoughts. "Yea I'm here to see the tucker family....."
The man nodded, and motioned her to follow him. Kagome followed the man down a long hall.
When he stopped at a door.
When it opened, there stood a mourning family. When they looked up, they all sighed in relief.
Kagome walked in and bowed.
She flipped her wallet out and the badge proudly shined. Every one look on confused at the same
time looking in awe at her badge.
"Konnichiwa I'm special homicide detective higurashi kagome." She took a deep breathe. She
could do this. This was no different. Then she had a flashback she didn't even know she had.

whimpers could be heard. Then screams. Louder and louder. Taunting her.
It was HER!
She had to save her. She ran as fast as she could down the stairs. When she reached the 2nd to bottom
of the stairs she fell. Two stray tears ran down her cheek.

she had to save her! She jumped up, even with pain her knees. She heard her mother screaming in
pain. And urged her on more. Then she started opening and closing doors. Trying desperately to find
her.
when she finally got there, her father was now where in sight. She inched toward her mother.
"Moma......" she whispered. The young women smiled weakly.
The little girl, only about 5, started to cry. Tears flowing from her eyes.
"Shhhhh.....my daughter....do not cry......we are strong....we cry for no one....nor for
anything....remember one thing my daughter..." the little girl nodded.
"What doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger.....don't let anyone keep you
down......remember never cry....never show your emotions to the enemy.....and remember this.... I
love you more than life kagome...."
With that, the young women smiled weakly at her little girl. And with one taken breath, passed
away.
"Moma...." was all the little girl could say, through tears.

'I remember.....cry for no one nor anything.....why hadn't I had any memory before?'
kagome shuddered. She could feel tears brimming her eyes.
'No....I for no one nor anything...' she told her self.
Then she put on her emotionless mask. And stepped forward.
"Okay then....I need you to answer some questions...."
The family nodded and kagome continued.....still a little shaken from her flash back.
