Chapter 2: The Meeting

Inuyasha was looking at me as if I had grown a second head.

"H-how d-did y-you know?" Inuyasha stuttered. I smirked.

"I'm a miko dumb ass. Besides you need to go to her or she'll leave without telling you whatever she needs to tell you. Now GO!" I shouted the last part still smirking.

`She-she doesn't care? I thought that she loved me!' Inuyasha thought while he ran off.

Think again Inuyasha. I lost my love for you on more than a friend level. Now we are just friends.

Wait one fucking minute…I JUST REASD HIS MIND!!! How in the fucking hells did I do that?

`You are not who you think you are.' A voice said in my mind.

I must be going crazy.

`No you aren't going crazy. I'm as real as you, little one.'

Who are you? I demanded.

`A friend Kagome. But right now you need to go with Inuyasha. Something bad is going to happen.'

How do you know?

`I just do. Now go!'

Fine. With that I left. I came into a field with Inuyasha and Kikyou there… fucking.

I DID NOT want to see this you damn voice!

`Don't you sense it? The evil aura?'

yes. It's coming from Kikyou.

`Feel closer, little one.'

I did as I was told to do. It wasn't coming from Kikyou! It was coming from…Inuyasha? How? Oh fucking hells! He transformed again! But why isn't he killing Kikyou?

`That's because he is semi-control. Inuyasha is in…heat, you could say. He didn't want to hurt you. So he went to Kikyou. Why not hurt someone who can't feel pain than hurt someone that can? He was already aroused and when he smelled both of you ha became even more aroused. He couldn't take it so he left.'

Who are you anyways? I asked tiredly. For tired was what I was. I was tired of everything.

`Midoriko. There are many things you need to know about myself and you.'

Like what? Midoriko had spiked my interest and curiosity.

`I'm not human. I never was. I was just made to look like I was so I wouldn't be killed by the gods. Here is the story of how the world began…the true way.

In the beginning there was no life until the gods above decided that they were bored and they created man. After a few years the gods got bored of man and so they created demons to rule over man. The gods found that the demons got out of control and were destroying man to where there were almost no more humans. So they created people who could handle demons and save man in the process yet keep their entertainment. These were no ordinary people…they were mikos. Mikos had supernatural powers that destroyed or healed whom ever they wished.

One day a miko fell madly in love with a demon and the demon fell in love also with this miko. Together they had a child. A female child that was a cross between a miko and demon. This created a new species and the gods didn't like this one bit. So they ban demons and mikos to fall in love or have children.

You see the gods found out that the miko demoness was stronger than the gods put together. And they didn't want to have to bow down to a `lower' thing than them. They sent the best demons to kill this child before she became of age and developed her powers. So they sent a four powerful demons( a cat, dog, snake, and a fox demon) in promise of power and land to own. Well little did they know that the fox demon made a replica and stole the real baby. He `killed' the baby and was offered land and power. He asked the gods for the other demons to have land and power too because they had helped him find the baby so they deserved power too.

His wish was granted and the four lords of the South (cat), North (fox), West (dog), and the East (snake) would come together every year with their mates to celebrate the day that they had gained their lands and power.

That is how the lords came to be.

Now to tell you about the child who `died'. She became the most powerful thing to ever live and was known as…Midoriko… Me. The fox demon who became her father taught her how to mask her demon aura, powers, and looks and look human. From then on she became known as the most powerful miko to ever live. She also had a daughter that would be stronger than her.

My daughter was sent to the future to a nice home and a fine family. Her name was…Kagome. You are my daughter. You are not that clay pot bitch's reincarnation.'

Then why do I look like that…thing? I asked my "mother".

`The jewel was burned with her body so therefore the jewel placed the image on you so you didn't look like your demon self. You can drop the concealment spell with a single thought and put it back on with a single thought.'

I wanted to see myself in my true form so I ran back to the camp where Sango, Miroku, and my kit, Shippou, were asleep.

I dropped the concealment spell and dug into my backpack for a mirror.

What I saw made me gasp. I looked…for laymen's terms…beautiful. I had deep blue eyes, red, close to blood, lips, and flawless pale skin. My hair, that was already waist length, grew until it was nearly past the back of my knees. T was midnight black with thin blue and silver strips here and there. I filled out in all the right places.

I raised my eyes to meet sparkly green eyes.
