The Perfect Wish
The battlefield was silent, despite the fact that Naraku was finally defeated. Though everyone was still alive, no celebrations could be heard. Just silence.
A brave soul spoke up. "Inuyasha ... We've finally defeated Naraku, right?" Kagome ventured carefully. "Damn right!" said hanyou scoffed.
"And we've completed the whole Shikon no Tama, right?" Kagome continued.
"Yeah." Inuyasha wondered where this was leading.
"Meaning you can finally wish on the jewel, right?" Kagome's brow started to twitch. Inuyasha nodded gruffly.
Kagome could no longer restrain herself.
"Why, then, after all we've gone through, did you wish for a lifetime supply of ramen?!?!"
