Glasses

Rin ran a comb through her dark wavy hair. She smiled at the reflection in the mirror. Now all my dreams have come true.

“Rin.”

Rin turned to smile at Sesshoumaru, “Hai.”

“We will be leaving soon.”

“Leaving? To where my Lord?”

Sesshoumaru slightly smiled, “It's a surprise.”

Rin stood gleefully and walked to him, “I love surprises.” She kissed him tenderly

The Edge of Inuyasha Forest

“So are you ready?” Kyushin smiled

“Definitely.” Kyoketsu replied with a sneer

Kyushin closed his eyes and put his hands together speaking a few words. A light mist covered Kyoketsu and left him in the guise of Sesshoumaru.

Kyoketsu laughed, “This is good, I even sound like him.”

“Yes, but you won't have any of his power, this is just a spell of disguise.”

“I know.”

“Now hurry and get the girl.”

Kyoketsu nodded and leaped into the sky.

He touched down at edge of the village and crept his way around until he came upon Kagome. Thank goodness he consulted his black smoke before they left, or he would have no idea what she looked like. He took in a deep breath and put on his best Sesshoumaru. He gathered that he was an arrogant bastard who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

“Kagome.”

She turned around and found `Sesshoumaru', “Sesshoumaru, what are you doing here?”

“Rin is very sick, I need your assistance.”

“Ok, let me get Inuyasha.”

“There's no time.” He rushed forward and grabbed Kagome by the arms

“Let go of me.”

“Quite wench.” He hit her on the back of the head and knocked her out.

It didn't take long till Inuyasha called out her name. Kyoketsu quickly took off with her into the air. Just in time for Inuyasha to see him. Kyoketsu smirked and disappeared in a dark smoke.

“What the…!” Inuyasha couldn't believe his eyes, “Sesshoumaru you bastard, after all these years you're still after my sword huh.” Inuyasha took off toward Sango and Miroku's hut bursting into the door

Sango dropped the eggs she had been holding, “Inuyasha!”

“I need to borrow Kirara.”

“Why, what's wrong?”

“Sesshoumaru took Kagome.”

“Why would he do that?”

“He's probably trying to get Tetsuaiga again.”

“After all these years?”

“Why else would he do it?”

“I don't know, but something sounds fishy. Take Miroku with you he's in the field.”

“Hai.”

The Forest of Insanity

Kyoketsu still in the form of Sesshoumaru smiled upon the unconscious Kagome. Perfect. Now all I need is for Kyushin to come through with his part of the deal. Kagome stirred and whispered Inuyasha's named then whispered a sad help. Too bad for her, I really didn't want to hurt anyone. But I will not leave Rin in the hands of someone as unappreciative as Sesshoumaru. Kyoketsu blew out some black smoke that covered over Kagome. The least I can do is keep the affects of the forest from her.

Sesshoumaru's Castle

Kyushin stood outside of the castle hiding the forest near by. Something had just occurred to him. How was he to lure Rin out if she was with Sesshoumaru now? Curse that stupid Ryu. Ah, all I need is a distraction; In fact, I'll let that idiot Hanyou come. When he arrives I'll steal Rin away, no need for a disguise. Kyushin turned and headed into a dark portal that led to the Forest of Insanity.

“Ryu!”

Kyoketsu emerged from the forest with Kagome in hand still unconscious, “Where is Rin.”

“Baka, how was I to steal the girl away with her by his side. We'll let Inuyasha go to him. Then I will take the woman. There was no need for such an elaborate and ridiculous scheme.”

“I see.”

“Now the real problem is how do we keep them fighting. I'm sure that Inuyasha will accuse Sesshoumaru of stealing his woman, but Sesshoumaru will deny he was even there.”

“Ha, Inuyasha won't believe that his eyes deceived him.”

“He saw you?”

“As clear as day.”

Towards Sesshoumaru's Castle

Inuyasha and Miroku rode on Kirara's back towards the Western Lands at a hurried pace. Each with their own theories to Sesshoumaru's strange behavior.

“I don't know Inuyasha, you and your brother made peace a long time ago. Why would he try something now?”

“I guess he thought my guard was down.”

“But you said he left in a black smoke, and if he wanted the sword I'm sure he'd confront you face to face like he always did.”

“Who said an old dog can't learn new tricks.”

“But it would be a disgrace to someone like him. I don't think this is his doing.”

“Either way, we're bound to get some answers when we get there.”

Sesshoumaru's Castle

Rin sat down on the ground in the garden looking up at her lover.

“When you said that it was a surprise you really did mean it. The last place I thought you'd take me was the garden.” Rin smirked sarcastically

Sesshoumaru let a slight smile run through his lips, “There's still a surprise yet my love.” He bent down and kissed Rin softly on the lips then went towards a small hut.

What in the world is he up to? Sesshoumaru came back with AhUn behind him.

“So we are not staying in the garden after all.”

Sesshoumaru turned and pointed to the hut. Slowly a small two head dragon hobbled out and hid behind AhUn.

“Oh Kami! A baby dragon! But I though AhUn was a male?”

“He is, while you were gone he found a mate. The small ryu was born just this morning and the mother is inside resting.”

“Oh my, what will we name it? Is it a he or she?”

“The ryu is female.”

“She is adorable.”

Rin looked around AhUn and spotted the shy ryu. “Come here, I won't hurt you.”

AhUn made a small grunting noise at the small ryu and it cautiously made its way to Rin. Rin let it take in her scent then pet it gently.

“What shall we call her?”

“I will leave that to you.”

“How about Shizuka?”

“It fits her.”

The scene of cute cuddly dragons and too lovers was cut through quickly as they heard someone screaming bastard from above. Inuyasha landed on his feet just behind Sesshoumaru, Miroku followed on Kirara.

“Where's Kagome?” Inuyasha unsheathed the Tetsuaiga

“Inuyasha, what an unexpected visit.” Sesshoumaru's stoic attitude poured from him

“Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about you jackass.”

“I really wouldn't know where your woman is; maybe you should have kept a better eye on her.”

“I saw you take her.”

“How could you accuse Lord Sesshoumaru of such?” Rin almost shouted

“I saw him take her with my very own eyes.”

“That's ridiculous; I was with him the whole day.”

“I told you something was strange Inuyasha.” Miroku sighed

Kyoketsu shook his head; they'd been waiting in the garden bushes for the right moment to take the girl but Inuyasha showed up early.

“See this is why you were supposed to take the girl.” Kyoketsu hissed

“I didn't think Inuyasha would have arrived so quickly.”

“You were supposed to have traps ready.”

“I didn't think we needed them.”

Kyoketsu let out a sigh, “Let's just hope that Inuyasha will start swinging that big sword of his.”

“So you're telling me that some other Sesshoumaru took Kagome?” Inuyasha questioned

Sesshoumaru looked away, “I don't suppose Naraku is still alive.”

“It would be something he'd do. But we killed him years ago.”

“Then who?” Miroku scratched his head then heard some whispers and turned his head, “Huh?”

“Enough,” Kyushin whispered, “We'll have to kill them ourselves.”

“In case you haven't noticed, you're a human and last time Sesshoumaru cut off my head.”

“He did what?”

“He cut off my head!”

“How?”

“With his sword of course.”

“Then why are you still alive?!”

Kyoketsu let out a sigh, “This is not the time…”

But while the two argued and confused each other, Kagome awoke. “Huh, Inuyasha.”

Kyoketsu looked over at the girl, “Shimatta!”

“What are we going to do now?” Kyushin sighed

“How about explaining yourself?” Inuyasha stood before the two

“Indeed.” Sesshoumaru stepped forward

“You know, your half baked schemes never really work. What did you think we were stupid?” Inuyasha frowned

Kyushin stood, “It was his idea.” He pointed to Kyoketsu

Sesshoumaru's eyes turned their signature red, “Ryu!”

“It would have worked if he did what I told him to.” Kyoketsu dusted off his clothes and grabbed Kagome, “On to plan B.”

“Oh that's original.” Kyushin smirked

“He's got a point.” Inuyasha's sword glowed, “Wait a second, weren't you dead.” He quickly turned to Kyushin

Kyoketsu moved out the bushes into the garden with Kagome by the throat.

“Excuse me, but who are you two?” Miroku wanted to laugh at the blundering `evil doers'

“Kyo-kun!” Rin gasped. “What are you doing let Kagome go!”

“Rin, I didn't want things to end up this way.”

“Let her go and…Kyushin!” Rin gasped, “You're dead!”

“Huh?” Miroku scratched his head once more then threw his hands up, “Everyone stop! I'm confused.”

At that moment, no one expected it but Kyoketsu let go of Kagome and started laughing.

“I don't see what's so funny, you're about to die.” Inuyasha growled

“I agree.” Sesshoumaru unsheathed Toukijin

“I can't help it, this whole thing is botched up and no one knows what's going on.”

Rin sighed, “You always did have a bad since of humor.” She stood and walked in between the brothers and two `bad guys'. “Come on Kagome.”

Kagome stood up and looked at Sesshoumaru and then Kyoketsu, then her eyes fell to Kyushin, “What's going on here?!”

“I'm not sure myself,” Kyoketsu laughed, “And it was my plan.”

Sesshoumaru growled and charged towards Kyoketsu only to have Rin stop him.

“This is ridiculous.” Rin shook her head

“Damn straight.” Kyushin kicked the grass, “I might as well go home and rot in this human flesh.”

“You're not going anywhere.” Inuyasha pointed his sword at Kyushin which froze him in his spot.

“Explain yourself Kyo-kun.” Rin demanded looking up at him

Kyoketsu sighed and became serious once more, “I just wanted you back Rin.”

“So you kidnapped Kagome?” Rin sighed

“Sesshoumaru took me.” Kagome interjected

“It wasn't him; I just took on his form.” Kyoketsu sat down and sighed, “This whole thing got screwed up.”

“Yeah, he was supposed to die.” Kyushin pointed at Sesshoumaru

“Let's go in, all of us.” Rin sighed and started towards the castle.

At the Dinner Table

Miroku sat listening, he wasn't quite sure what was going on and all he knew was that Sesshoumaru had killed both men and stole their women. I guess Sesshoumaru is a man after my own heart. If I weren't married to Sango, I'd ask him for advice.

“So that's the scheme of things.” Kyoketsu finished

“And you really thought it would have worked?” Kagome smiled

“It would have, at least the first plan anyway.” Kyoketsu retorted

Sesshoumaru looked at Rin, “I still don't understand why I shouldn't slaughter them both.”

“Because it's too funny.” Rin laughed

Kyushin poked at the food in front of me, “So what now?”

“I still think we should kill them.” Inuyasha sneered

“For once, I agree with you brother.” Sesshoumaru shot daggers at the two

“Oh this is so silly; it's like a talk show gone incredibly out of control.” Kagome smiled

“What's a talk show?” Inuyasha asked

“Something from my time.”

“Excuse me!” I hate to interrupt, but I do have better things to do.” Kyushin sneered, “So if you're not going to kill me then I'll be off. I'm sure I can find some other way to regain my youkai power.”

Rin eyed him, “Don't even think about it.” Memories of his actions laced her mind as her electricity surged through her body

“Don't worry. I've had my fill of dogs, dragons, and humans.”

“And we're supposed to let him go like that?” Inuyasha looked dumb founded at his brother

“There's no point to killing him Inuyasha, I think we should all just go home.” Kagome shrugged

“I agree.” Miroku finished his food

Kyoketsu smiled at Rin, “I know where your heart is Rin, and I was a fool to think I could change it… and to team up with that.” He pointed to Kyushin, who was leaving.

Rin smiled, “Then go home to your forest and find a mate of your own.”

“Can do, I know of no other youkai onna who could resist me.” He smiled brightly

Rin giggled and Sesshoumaru shot him a warning glare.

“It was nice meeting you Inuyasha, Kagome, and Miroku.” Kyoketsu stood and held his hand out to Inuyasha “No hard feelings?”

“You were going to kill Kagome.” He sneered reaching for Tetsuaiga

“No, Kyushin was, but I doubt I would have let him.”

“Oh forgive him Inuyasha.” Kagome laughed

“Why are you laughing?” Inuyasha's mouth hung open

“Why aren't you, people do stupid things when they're in love.”

“But nothing this stupid.” Inuyasha growled

“I wouldn't put it past Kyo-kun, but I doubt he'll be doing it again, ne?” Rin eyed him

“Right.” Kyoketsu nodded

“Then that's that.” Miroku clapped his hands together, “Now I'd like to get home to my wife and children.”

Kyushin's Castle

Kyushin sat at his fire and eyed the wine in his glass. It truly does taste better with age. I can't believe the whole thing fell through. Nonetheless, I will be a youkai once more. And Sesshoumaru…I won't have to bother making him pay. I'm sure that bothersome ryu will give him all the grief he needs. Kyushin laughed and set to work finding his spell books.

Inuyasha's Village

“And then what did you do Daddy?”

“Yeah Uncle Inuyasha?”

Ichi was Inuyasha and Kagome's six year old son. He had Inuyasha's patent puppy dog ears and Kagome's eyes. The other boy Takeshi belonged to Miroku and Sango.

“Nothing, unfortunately, the bastards had it coming though.”

“Inuyasha, don't speak that way in front of the children.” Kagome scolded him

“I still can't believe it.” Sango laughed as she feed her baby girl, “All that trouble and you let them go. I could see that from you Inuyasha, but from Sesshoumaru? Rin must have some power over him.”

“Maybe he has some beads and a controlling mate too.” Inuyasha scoffed

“Sit boy!”

Kyoketsu's Home

Kyoketsu had just arrived home. It wasn't a long way unless you purposely flew slowly like he did. He was grateful to be alive, but missed Rin. Maybe one day he would find someone like her… He sighed once more and sat outside on his porch. I know that she loves him, he loves her and I love her as well…but who loves me? I hope Rin was right, that I will find someone, but I will never love anyone like I love her.

Sesshoumaru's Castle

Rin lay in bed beside her lover and mate. Today was a real surprise for her. She was happy she saved Kyoketsu, but she felt a bit unnerved knowing that Kyushin was alive and well.

“What are you thinking about?”

“Today, I'm glad no one got hurt, but Kyushin.”

“I know him well; we will not see him again.”

“Are you sure?”

“Hai.” He pulled Rin to him and kissed her

“I just want everyone to be happy.”

“I know we will be happy.”

“And I guess I'll have to live with that.”

“What else can you do?”

“I don't know.” She cuddled up to him, “Let's start our family.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and kissed Rin's forehead, “Hai.”

A/N: I'm sorry for the long wait, and sorry if you didn't like the chapter. I've had some horrible writers block and didn't know how to end it. I was going to make it an all out battle…but that is what everyone would expect. Anyway, please R&R.
