Chapter Three: Night Time Problems

It was night time when Kagome rested in her bubble bath. Inuyasha waited outside the bathroom waiting for his new mate to finish. She, for some reason, sat him when he asked if he could come in too. Guys didn't really have anything to hide since it was all the same, but he was all too curious about what her body looked like without the clothing. Kagome washed her leg with vanilla scented soap and breathed in the essence.

"Are you done in there yet?! No one person should take that much time to wash themselves!!"Inuyasha pounded on the door.

"Don't make me sit you again!"Kagome shouted.

"Wench, if you sit me, I'll come right in there, pull you out of the tub and lock you out of the bathroom!"Inuyasha warned.

"Ooohh, I'm so scarred!"Kagome yelled back. "SIT!"

"GGGAAAHH!"came his scream. Kagome laughed to herself and dunked her head to wet her hair.

Inuyasha recovered as quickly as possible. He then got up and kicked the door. Kagome yelped and ducked behind bubbles. The door busted into splinters as Inuyasha stretched his fingers and saw Kagome.

"I warned you,"Inuyasha said. He walked over where Kagome was about to yell SIT again but he picked her up.

"Sit me now and you go down with me!"Inuyasha pointed out. Kagome closed her mouth. He tossed her over his shoulder and walked over what used to be the door and threw her onto the bed. She covered herself in modesty out of instinct so Inuyasha didn't get to see anything.

"You're a brat!"Kagome stuck her tounge out.

"You're a wench!"Inuyasha said.

"SIT!"

"AHHHH! Will you stop doing that?!"

"No."

Inuyasha mumbled something and walked into the bathroom. Kagome got up and walked behind her changing screen where she began to change into her pajamas. All girls had a pair of black and white checkered pajamas of short and a button down long sleeve shirt. Kagome was feeling modest and shy at the moment so concealing clothing would be best.

The sound of the shower could be heard as Kagome sat in the bed. It was very roomy with a lot of pillows and thick blankets of silk and satin. Feather mattresses were underneath and made everything feel like heaven. Kagome layed back in the pillows and closed her eyes.

"What do you think you're doing?"Inuyasha asked causing Kagome to squeak and fall out of the bed.

"Watch it!"Kagome cried out rubbing her behind. "I was about to go to bed."

"So wasn't I!"

"Well find another one, this one is mine!"Kagome complained.

"God women give me such a headache!"Inuyasha rubbed his temples. "There is no other bed in this room."

"You mean we half to *gulp* share a bed?"Kagome asked meekly. Inuyasha shrugged.

"I guess so,"Inuyasha said.

"Okay, lets try this,"Kagome said. She went in on the left side and Inuyasha on the right.

"Well this isn't so bad,"Inuyasha admitted. For some reason Kagome was blushing up a storm and was stiff as a board.

"This bed smells nice,"Inuyasha said attempting to make small talk.

"You're smelling my hair."

"Oh, well then I take it back,"Inuyasha said.

"Are you saying that I smell?"Kagome asked defensively.

"I never said anything!"Inuyasha complained.

"So now we just go to sleep?"Kagome asked after a few minutes of silence.

"I guess so. But before that, is there anything that I need to know about girls and sleeping?"Inuyasha asked.

"I don't think so,"Kagome thought. "Anything I need to know about guys and sleeping?"

"Sometimes we sleep nude,"Inuyasha piped up.

"That's assuring. Wait a second, WHAT?! You're not sleeping nude are you?"

"Why would that bother you?"Inuyasha asked.

"I-I think so!"Kagome stuttered. "I've never seen a man naked before."

"And I've never seen a woman naked before. Don't you guys even sleep nude too? I thought everybody did it."

"N-no! Obviously,"Kagome sputtered.

"Ah well,"Inuyasha shrugged and turned to his side.

"You mean you're not going to change into pajamas?!"Kagome asked loudly.

"Why should I?"Inuyasha asked.

"Because it bothers me! I dont' know what the male body can do to me in my sleep!"Kagome stated back.

"Trust me, I'm quite familiar with my body, and NOTHING is going to happen to you, your royal highness,"Inuyasha said.

"Snot,"Kagome said before turning to her side and tugging a blanket over her. Another tug was felt back.

"Inuyasha! Stop it!"complained Kagome tugging her side of the blanket back.

"You stop it!"Inuyasha tugged the blanket to his side.

"It's mine, leave it alone!"Kagome complained yanking hers from her new mate.

"No, it's MINE!"Inuyasha said.

"Mine!"Kagome said.

"Mine!"Inuyasha replied.

Next door...

Sesshomaru at least put on pants for Sango who felt strange with having a naked man in her bed. Their bed was in the corner with a lot of pillows and was a creme color with black trim. Sesshomaru had Sango laying in his arms who found it to hard to sleep with the noise next door.

Sesshomaru figured that since they were mates, they should at least sleep by eachother, thus why Sango was in his arms.

"This is proving to be diffucult,"Sango sighed.

"Well then, lets just talk ourselves asleep. Or until we go over there and kill those two for keeping us up all night,"Sesshomaru said.

Sango giggled.

"I REFUSE TO LET GO OF THIS BLANKET!"Kagome shouted.

"AND YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LET GO FOR YOU?!"came Inuyashas voice.

"They're a cute couple,"Sango said to Sesshomaru.

"What about us?"Sesshomaru asked raising an eyebrow.

"Us?"Sango thought.

"Do you think we make a cute couple,"Sesshomaru asked. Sango flushed slightly.

"I haven't really thought about it,"Sango answered. "But I guess we do."

"I haven't thought about it much either, but I agree,"Sesshomaru said.

"DID YOU JUST TRY TO SMOTHER ME?!"came Inuyashas scream.

"YOU BET YOUR ASS I DID!"Kagome shouted.

"This is going to be a long night,"Sango and Sesshomaru said in unison.

"I have sleeping pills,"Sango said.

"Well why didn't you say so?"asked Sesshomaru. They each took one and were out like lights as Inuyasha and Kagome faught for the blanket.
