The night fall was getting a little chilly for the Princess Kagome. She hugged Inu Yasha tighter and shivered a little. “We should rest for now till dawn appears from the sky than we will continue our journey,” He said. They agreed Inu Yasha helped Kagome down first as they got a place ready for them to sleep. Sango and Kagome slept near each other as the boys slept on the other side.
As the night went on the four were not aware that Kagome’s father had sent out his knights and that they were on their trail. Kagome woke up slowly looking around she seen Inu Yasha up he was twitching his ears “Something wrong?” She asked. She sat up looking at him “We need to go now I can smell your evil coming,” He said. Kagome woke Sango up and Miroku got up and they put out the fire got rid of any evidence them being there and took off.
Kagome wrapped her arms around Inu Yasha’s back when they got onto the horses. Sango held Miroku tightly as well “Let’s go,” Prince Inu Yasha said and they were off. As they didn’t know Prince Naraku was traveling down to Princess Kagome’s lands “Once I marry their little precious daughter I will steal their money and rule their kingdom throwing their family into the dungeon” He said.
Kagura smiled “Prince Naraku your such a genius but what will we do when Prince Inu Yasha comes to her rescue?” She asked. Naraku looked at her with his cold eyes “I will kill him,” He said. They were a couple days away from the palace still. Naraku had the carriage pull over when he saw in a distant his future queen he growled “Kagura there they are bring Princess Kagome and her filthy servant to me now” He said. Kagura got out and ran towards them.
