Chapter 2

The sun was now at dusk and Princess Kagome would look very sad when her father came and checked on her. “This is for your own good,” The king said. Kagome did not blink or say a word she just stared at the sky. “I see you don’t want to talk to your old man,” He said.
He gave Kagome a kiss on the forehead. “I love you my little Princess,” He said. She smiled softly just to please him. The king walked out of Princess Kagome’s room, She than shot up and finished grabbing her things. She waited at the balcony with Sango as they saw Inu Yasha and Miroku coming.
“There they are,” Miroku said. Inu Yasha jumped up to the balcony. “My Princess your savior arrives,” Inu Yasha said. She smiled. “Why thank you,” Kagome said. He swooped Kagome in his arms and jumped down from the balcony and he set her down than he jumped back up and grabbed Sango and than jumped back to the others.
“Let’s get going,” Inu Yasha said. Kagome held on tight to Inu Yasha. Sango jumped on Miroku’s horse and than they took off fast. The horses galloped away and they started a new journey. Kagome was happy that she was running away from her father and arranged marriage.
Later that night the servant walked into tell Kagome her bath was ready when she gasped and seen the note. She quickly ran to the throne room. “Your highness the Princess ran away,” The servant said. The king got angry and ordered his finest knights to search for the Princess. “How dare she run away!” He said.
The King’s wife looked at him. “Well you’re forcing her to marry someone she don’t love,” She said. He got angered at his wife. “She should not run off she is to marry Naraku,” He yelled. He huffed and puffed about it. He was angered at Kagome too for deciding to ran away. He than turned to the General of the knights. “When you find the man who took my daughter is too be hung in the towns corner,” He said.
His wife tried to hide the gasp. She did not wish for Prince Inu Yasha’s death. She did not know what to do now only to pray and hope Princess Kagome and Inu Yasha are not found.
