Poisoned

Summary: What happens when Kagome brings back some ****, that just so happens to poison Inuyasha. Can he survive the ordeal? If so, can he forgive Kagome for her ignorance? Find out about this "Mysterious" poison and more. Fic takes place after all main characters have met. Let's set it right before they meet the Shinchinintai.

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters of Inuyasha. They belong to the talented Rumiko Takahashi. Don't sue me Please. Got some very minor ideas another fic, but can't remember the name or author, so email me for recognition. Please pardon my spelling on some of the Japanese words, as I am an American, and I only know these words from hearing them in the subtitled versions of anime. Any suggestions please email me. Now on to the story.

Chapter 1: Poisoned

"O hai o gozaimasu", Kagome exclaimed as she climbed from the bone eaters well. "Oi bitch, where have you been?" stated Inuyasha. "Inuyasha, you know that I have tests to take back in the future, baka." "Well next time hurry the fuck up" Inuyasha said gruffly. As they were arguing, Inuyasha caught the whiff of something in the air. The smell had made his mouth water, and Inuyasha, secretly formed a plan in his mind to find out just exactly what it was. At that very moment, Kagome said, "I have brought something special for all of you" to the group of five, including Kirara. She stated that they would all receive it later that night.

Later on that evening while Kagome and Sango were in the hot springs, Inuyasha rummages through her gigantic backpack. What he pulled out was something that he had never seen before. The items were: Chocolate Cake, Kit Kat bars, Hershey Bars, Nestlé Crunch, and Chocolate Pocky (mmmmmmmmm). Being his demonic self, Inuyasha took all of it to the Goshimboku tree, where he ate it all. "Whatever this is must be a sin to eat" he stated in pure bliss. All around the tree were empty, crumpled up wrappers. Our hanyou, then falls into a peaceful slumber. What began as the best dream he had ever had, turned into his worst nightmare.

Kagome lay dead at the hands of her original. (Have you ever noticed how most of the females look alike, like Kagome and Sango and Kikyou and Kagura and even Rin? There are more, but that's later). Anyways, Kikyou then pointed her bow at Inuyasha and shouted "traitor" as she let arrow after arrow fly at him. All Inuyasha could say was "I never betrayed you Kikyou" as he was struck six times, and pinned to the tree. Something was different this time. He felt as if his whole body was burning, and he didn't hesitate to state that fact. "Why am I burning like this?" he yelled. All he got was an evil laugh, followed by a "Welcome to my world Inuyasha, welcome to hell." NOOOOOOO he screamed, as he awoke violently.

From what he could tell, it was almost night time. "Kami, just what did I eat?" he asked himself. He was in a cold sweat, and there were spots before his eyes. Being the ignorant hanyou we all know, he shrugged it off, and proceeded to jump down from the tree. But as he fell towards the ground he got light headed, and landed face first on the ground. "Kuso", he stated. That hurt worse than Kagome's osuwari spells. There, on the ground, he lay. He did not have the strength to get up, so he just lay there.

I'm leaving it as a cliffhanger. Please read and review. Next chapter will be up shortly. Well what do you think? Was it good for my first attempt at a chapter fic? Let me know. On what I was saying about look a likes, my friend jokes about the series, saying that the reason they have so many episodes is because most of the females look alike. And it is true, that all the characters I mentioned look a like. But I will dedicate a whole chapter at the end of the story with look a likes from this series, and from other series, such as Love Hina.
