I have to apologize to anyone following Pride, Pomp, and Circumstance. I worked my butt off, guys, I really did, trying to get the second chapter out. Unfortunately, I only have about 3,200 words typed out so far, and I'm anticipating adding at least another 2,000 words with what I have planned for the chapter. I was planning on staying up to get it finished, but I'm pooped, guys.

Now, ordinarily, this would not be a problem. However, I have a 7:35 flight to catch, as I fly out to New York. I report to West Point tomorrow at 6:30 a.m. Eastern Time (4:30 a.m. my time) for "R-Day" (Reception Day), and will sign the next twelve years of my life away to the Army. R-Day marks the beginning of my Cadet Basic Training, and I will have next to no technology for the next seven weeks (Seriously, I only get three phone calls the entire time, and even that isn't guaranteed).

As I will be issued a laptop immediately upon the completion of CBT, I will try to finish writing the second chapter during Reorganization Week, and hopefully I can get it posted by "A-Day" (Acceptance Day), 15 August 2010. But I can't promise that either, because I have no clue what all of my duties during that week will entail (and supposedly the first Reorgy Week is the worst week of the entire four years at West Point).

Anyhow, if you happened to come across this, please review!!! It would mean the world to me, and gives me some more incentive to make it through what will be the toughest part of my life to date.
