Chapter Eleven

Inuyasha wrapped his hands into the sheets and winced as Kouga’s hand fell once more on his uncovered behind. His jeans were too tight and they held his knees together like some sort of clothing bondage, or he’d have been kicking.

His lightly tanned ass-cheeks glowed a bright crimson; his thighs were imprinted with the image of Kouga’s fingers. Inuyasha’s face was blushed almost as bright red as his rear; he was utterly humiliated at being spanked like a small child. Still, he knew that his father would have made it three times worse so Kouga’s punishment didn’t seem quiet so bad.

“Do you understand why I am doing this?” Kouga snapped his wrist and the sound of heated flesh being smacked again rang out.

“Cause you’re a perverted bastard!” He wriggled lightly on Kouga’s lap.

“That has nothing to do with this.” He rested his hand on those firm cheeks. “You put me and your father in serious danger. Damn, Inuyasha, one of us could have died! And all because you didn’t go to school like you were supposed to!”

Inuyasha had no response to that, he just whimpered. Kouga continued his scolding, “You thought you’d defy me and see where it got you? Your brother and his new mate are in serious danger with Naraku and you don’t give a damn, do you? You just wanted to prove to me that you’re a defiant little puppy.”

The only answer he got was a loud yelp when he flicked his wrist down-the sting worse than before because Kouga had picked up the wooden hairbrush he normally used to brush his hair. It reminded Inuyasha far too much of his mother’s spankings when she was alive-only she wasn’t THIS brutal. Kouga was making his point clear to Inuyasha.

“I don’t hear any remorse down there!” Kouga aimed for the delicate spot where his thighs met his plump bottom.

“I’m sorry! Please-forgive me, Kouga-please!” he wailed, tears now openly falling, not able to hold it in anymore.

“Forgive you for what?” He smacked the hanyou’s ass once more.

“For disobeying you and almost getting you and dad killed. I just wanted a day off to think about things that have happened. It’s all so new.” He began to sob.

Kouga rolled his eyes, hating his soft spot for the boy. “It’s okay, Inuyasha. It’s over now. Do you think you’re ready to listen to me when I tell you to do something that’s for your own good now?”

“Yes.” Inuyasha wiped his eyes. “I swear.”

“Good then stay in this room and don’t come out until I fucking come back for you unless it’s to your father, do you understand?” His eyes grazed along Inuyasha’s back and perfectly tight ass, he was enjoying the view too much to let him up yet.

Inuyasha nodded a little, sniffling softly as he was hoisted off Kouga’s lap and onto the bed. Kouga’s lips curled into a tight smile when he noticed how absolutely hard Inuyasha’s cock was. It fairly pulsed and twitched with need, he had a sudden urge to help him out but decided against it. Inuyasha’s face was glowing with even more embarrassment. He didn’t know what was worse, being spanked like a little kid or the fact that he had gotten so painfully aroused over it.

“Stay here.” Kouga commanded, turning to the door and racing to his house, which was two blocks away. He made it in minutes.

Tsume was sitting on the front porch rubbing his face with both hands; he looked as if something were bothering him. Kouga growled low at the sight of his father, his eyes flashing orange again as his demonic aura took over. With one had at his throat and the other pinning the elder demons hands above him, Kouga slammed Tsume against the wall of the house.

“Tell me who he is!” Kouga demanded, his breath coming in shaky pants.

“Kouga--- son, I can’t. He’d kill me.” Tsume’s face was stony. “And he’s got Rai-len.”

“You son of a bitch!” Kouga spat, baring his fangs slightly. “You put my mate in danger! You could have gotten us all killed! Now you’re telling me he’s got Rai-len as well?”

Kouga and Rai were cousins, and even though Kouga had not appreciated the intrusion of his home by his father and Rai, he certainly did not hate the younger cub. He was more pissed that his father kept putting innocent people in his path. Tsume tried not to show his fear, but the anger rolled off Kouga in waves and filled his senses.

“Tell me, you sorry bastard, how did you get involved with the mob?” Kouga snarled. “Why would they want a loser like you?”

“It was a loan shark. I started taking out loans to pay off some gambling debts.” Tsume explained. “It was why I left you and your mother-cause I couldn’t repay them and they started to come after me. I agreed to work for them to pay off the debts but.. I.. I’m no killer and I botched up a few jobs. Now they just want their money.”

“How much money?” Kouga asked, hoping it was a reasonable amount that he could work with to get Rai back to safety.

“Over a million.”

“What the fuck?” Kouga recoiled in shock, dropping Tsume. He studied his father’s features, a little like his own with much shorter hair. “You have to be kidding me!”

Tsume shook his head. “No I’m not and with interest it’s even higher. Look Kouga, I already took out a bank loan to pay off a lot of the debt-at least enough to get Rai-len to safety and you got Inuyasha back safely so this really doesn’t concern you.”

“That’s where you’re fucking wrong, DAD!” His tone held so much venom; his father felt the light spittle that formed at Kouga’s lips as he grew angrier was poisonous. “I did get Inuyasha back safely, the only reason you are standing there not dead right now. I ain’t gonna waste my attention on some fucking piddling demon like you! I got involved the second they put their filthy hands on Inuyasha, and I want their blood.”

Kouga’s body pulsed once, like a heartbeat as the demon inside him tried to fight his way out. Tsume saw this and he backed away, “The guy your looking for is a bull demon named Kudora. He ain’t the main man; he’s just the second in command if you will. He runs a warehouse down on the docks. Warehouse 13 I believe.”

Kouga snarled, “Don’t be here when I get back.”

The docks were dark, silent, and eerie when Kouga arrived. He’d killed time walking along the shoreline till the sun had fully set. His nose could pick up the essence of fish mostly with over tones of sea air and an acidic rank of illegal drugs he knew were housed in many of the privately owned warehouses along the dock. Along the dark alleys in between, prostitutes of demon and human origin made their way to work, stopping to talk to potential clientele that had arrived on foot or by car under the dim orange streetlights.

Lounging against the wall, looking like part of the crowd that frequented this area, he watched the gangsters, thugs, and hookers work at their trade. A creaky noise caught his attention; he shifted his eyes to the left to witness a young panther demon entering a warehouse that had a bright red 13 on the door. Kouga silently moved towards the door, learning that there were already a couple others inside who’d come in through a rear door, or so he assumed.
The conversation didn’t interest him, it was just prattling on about so-and-sos and their girlfriend. He was getting rather antsy, his demon calling for the blood of the ones who’d done this to his mate. Another set of voices that he recognized as Kamal and Hiruki’s came drifting out then.

“Kudora is coming in the back door now,” Kamal said a bit excitedly. Kouga grinned to himself and slipped his way into the warehouse door. Some barrels by the door provided him a hiding place and a good view of the goings-on’s.

Kudora was a large demon, and that was putting it mildly. He was well muscled, at least 7 foot tall, and he had a tail that looked more like a whip dragging behind him. Kouga felt no fear, only hot anger. The rest of the conversation droned into a slur of white noise. With a mighty growl that made every demon in the place turn to see it’s origin, Kouga exploded through the barrels and with flashing orange eyes attacked the first demons he saw.

Three large Panther demons attacked him, but he shape-shifted and took his wolf form. This permitted him to grasp the first by the back of the neck with his teeth and slam him into the wall until he felt the satisfying crack of his neck, and the demon went limp. The panther would recover in a few hours he knew but the second wasn’t so lucky.

Mic was a renowned fighter in the gang as well as a shape shifter, so he took his demon form in a mere second and went against the wolf. He sadly miscalculated the motives behind Kouga’s anger, the loyalty that a wolf had to his mate and the vengeance that came to those who dared fuck with said mate.

The panther demons claw hooked Kouga’s ribs as he attempted to flip the wolf over and expose his belly for an open attack. The pain seemed to spur Kouga on; he bared all his teeth and sank them into the velvety shoulder. Warm metallic blood filled his mouth, and fueled the seme rage that had begun to rise with the moon. Mic was not prepared for the onslaught or the power of the ookami. The seme moon did not affect the feline demons, but Mic was suffering from it. Ripped and bleeding profusely he lay against the wall panting, not daring to get up again for fear Kouga would really finish him off next time. The sound of ripping flesh and screams filled the warehouse.

When Kouga stopped, he was face to face with the bull demon, Kudora. Blood stained the walls and puddled on the cement floor under the dead, injured, and dying demons. The two demons stared at each other, Kouga growling and Kudora snorting.

“I wanna know who your boss is.” Kouga stated it flatly.

“I will never tell you that, bastard!” Kudora sneered. “It ain’t any of your business.”

“You kidnapped my mate, now that made it my business. I want answers and I want them now!”

“If I don’t give them to you?” Kudora challenged.

“I’ll rip your throat out and have the worlds biggest bar-be-cue.” Kouga laced his ears back, still not willing to go back to his human form just yet.

The bull looked up at the big wolf that towered well over 8 feet tall. His choice was not an easy one. On one hand he could tell the ookami what he wanted to know then spend his life with a price on his head when the mob caught up to him. Kudora’s second choice was attempting to fight the wolf demon and maybe have a fighting chance-though he seriously doubted it.

He chose the latter.

Kouga was young enough to have never seen a true bull demon transform. And it was a harrowing sight to see it now, even for him in the throes of his seme rage. But that rage was what transformed his fear into hatred, fueling the fire that burned in his soul. With bared teeth, Kouga attacked head on-never thinking twice.

Kudora hooked him with one of the huge horns that had appeared during his transformation, and thrust him over his powerful shoulder, grinning when a heavy thud told him Kouga hit the wall. With no sign of pain, the ookami took o his feet, his eyes flashing the orange of his demon and red with anger.

The wall facing the sea cracked and then came down under the weight of the bull and wolf. The pair crashed to the ground outside the building, sending dust and barrels in all directions. Kudora was pinned under the weight of the ookami, his breath labored as his airway was closed partially.

Rolling his eyes in defeat, “His name is Naraku. I don’t know where he is. He’s the leader of this whole operation- I get my orders via note or cell phone. I’ve never seen him.”

Kouga released the bull in shock, “Naraku? That bastard!”

Forgetting the bull demon ever existed; Kouga turned on his heel and headed for Inutashio’s house. He wasn’t sure which he should do first-protect Inuyasha or find Inutashio, whom he knew had gone after Naraku.

“Dammit!” Kouga snarled in frustration, turning back into his humanoid self and heading for the unprotected Inuyasha.

As Kouga vanished into the distance, Ginta and Hakaku rounded the corner, following Kouga’s scent. Their eyes met with a scene out of a horror movie, the warehouse was demolished. Splinters of wood were all that was left of the warehouse, broken glass and barrels littered the floor with other trash. What little of the walls were splattered with blood that also dripped from bodies hanging from the rafters like a slow rain, creating a rivulet of blood that flowed across the cement and out onto the grass beyond it. The mangled body of the bull demon lay on the other side of the wall, a two-by-four impaled through his ribcage.

“Kouga was definitely here,” Ginta said softly.
