A/N: I want to be a policeman when I grow up so I was thinking, 'what if Inuyasha was a policeman?' This is where we get to find out. I don't own Inuyasha.
"How is he?" A young woman said as she walked into a small room. All of the walls were covered in steel and in the center of it was a young man on a large table.
"He's fine, doctor. All vitals are normal," a man's voice said from one of the speakers. "May I suggest you not get that close?"
"No you may not!" the woman snapped as she circled the table slowly a couple of times before walking to the table and looking down at the unconscious silver haired man. She pulled a small metal box from her pocket and opened it.
"What're you doing?" the voice asked over the speaker.
"He's ready." The woman pulled a small syringe from the case and lightly stuck it into the silver haired man's arm before injecting the man with a clear liquid and standing back. The man's eyes shot open quickly and he looked around without moving his head. His eyes shot around the room as he tried to figure out where he was...who he was...
He tried to move his arms to sit up only to find that he was strapped to the table.
"Don't try to move." He looked to see a tall red haired woman staring back at him. "You haven't moved in over 550 years. Your muscles aren't used to movement."
The man smirked and easily broke his restraints before jumping to his feet. He looked down at his hands and arms then at the woman. He sniffed the air. "H-h-hu-man?" he tried to speak but couldn't seem to remember how to.
"Yes, I am a human," the woman said, slowly making her way toward him.
He backed away quickly and instinctievly moved his hands to the left side of his waist. There was nothing there. He looked down. He was wairing black jeans and a black shirt with a small peice of metal attached to a chain around his neck. He looked back up at the woman as she edged closer to him. She had her hands up slightly, showing him she was unarmed.
"It's okey. We're not going to hurt you," she said softly.
The man looked around for a way out. "W-wh-ere?" He struggled to find his words.
"You're somewhere safe. Don't worry," the woman said softly. She was only a foot away from him now. He let out a small growl and backed away. "It's okey. I'm not going to hurt you," she said carefully as if walking toward a wounded dog.
The man's ear flicked as he tried again to find what he wanted to say. He pointed up at the woman. "Y-you," he pointed up at her. She nodded. He moved his hand up to motion to himself. "Help?"
The woman nodded again and he seemed to lower his guard. "Alright, can you come here?" the woman asked softly, trying not to spook him. The man nodded and hesitantly stepped forward. "Okey, sit down right here," she smiled, pointing at the table where the man had been lying. He nodded and did as he was told. The woman turned around and gave a large window a thumbs up.
Suddenly, the silver-haired man turned his head and quickly walked toward one of the steel walls. He easily smashed through it with his fist before breaking into a run toward the nearest window. He smashed clear through the window and the doctor ran after him, stopping at the window. She watched the man drop 38 stories to the ground below and run quickly toward a screaming woman in the middle of the sidewalk. He looked at the woman then the man she was pointing at. The man was running as fast as he could and held a small leather container in his hand.
The silver haired man leaped through the air and landed with a knee to the man's back, effectively knocking him out. The man stood up and looked curiously down at the man below him. A few seconds later he seemed to put two and two together and grabbed the small leather bag from the man's lifeless grip. He stood up and handed it to the woman without talking.
The woman smiled and accepted her bag, bowing before quickly walking away. The man tried to immitate the smiling motion before letting his face go back to it's original vacant expression.
"Hey! That was cool!" He turned to see the red haired woman from earlier walking slowly toward him. "But you need to be a little more subtle next time."
The man cocked his head to the side in confusion and the woman giggled. "H-hi," he said, his face showing his focus as he spoke.
"Hi, my name's Jen," the woman said, smiling.
The man tried again to smile but it ended up crooked as he struggled to speak. "N-name?" He motioned to himself.
"Oh... Your name is Inuyasha," the woman said cheerfully.
"I-nu-ya-sha?" Inuyasha sounded out his name. The woman smiled and nodded.
A/N: I actually think it would be cool to do a chapter or two about the memory-less Inuyasha....tell me what you think...REVIEW!!!
