AN: Ok, for those who are confused reading this on Mediaminer…that name "Demoness Diana" is something I thought of A LONG time ago, before I became obsessed with Sessy…so my real name is Jessica and ya…it's NOT Diana…I just thought the name was…uh…catchy? Hey, I was dumb at the time! (and I still am…) Anyways, enjoy this chappie!

Chapter 4: Reactions

~*Last Time*~

"Guys…I have something important to tell you…" said Kagome, looking at the floor. Everyone looked at her. "I'm a demon."

Sesshoumaru could of sworn he had heard, "I'm a demon." But…his demononic hearing couldn't be wrong…could it?

"Sorry, I didn't hear properly, can you please repeat that?" Miroku said calmly.

"I'm a demon." Kagome said clearly, looking away from everyone. Sango's jaw dropped. Followed by the rest of the inu-tachi, excluding Sesshoumaru and Kaede of course. Though Sesshoumaru's eyes widened a fraction. Kaede just blinked unbelievingly.

"Did I just hear…is it just me…or did I just hear her say that she's a demon?" Sango said looking at everyone.

"I heard it too…that's it, we're both insane…" Shippou said…though he was secretly hoping that she was - he knew that humans would never live as long as youkai.

"That is simply not possible. This Sesshoumaru does not believe it." Sesshoumaru said, sniffing the air just to make sure. Nope, she was still human. She caught him sniffing.

"Fine! Don't believe me!" she huffed, and closed her eyes. Everyone stared at her in shock as she glowed. She opened her eyes, and she appeared in her demon form. Even Sesshoumaru's jaw slackened a bit before it tightened.

"Well…?" Kagome said nervously.

Sesshoumaru stared at Kagome. Looking at her long, silky hair, he yearned to touch it. Her indecent kimono had grown even more indecent, though it showed her figure even more clearly…she was gorgeous…

~*Sesshoumaru's POV*~

"That is simply not possible. This Sesshoumaru does not believe it." I said, though doubting it a little. After all, why would this ningen have to lie? I sniffed her scent just to make sure. It was still all human. She must of seen me sniff, because she said,

"Fine! Don't believe me!" she retorted before she closed her eyes. She started glowing, the light took over her form, and it disappeared completely. What took its place was…a tenchi. No, the kami of tenchi. (god of angels) Nothing, nothing in this world could compare to her beauty. I felt my jaw loosen a little before I snapped it shut forcefully. Demon or not, she is still the hanyou's wench.

"Well?" Kagome said.

`But you KNOW that she's untouched. You can smell it in her scent.'

`…'

`Fine!' the voice huffed. `Don't answer me!!' and it left. I almost grinned - at least I knew how to get rid of the annoying voice n -

`No you don't.'

I sighed inwardly. Returning my attention to the te - the onna, I realized she hadn't received an answer yet.

"Kagome, you have lots of explaining to do…" Sango said dazedly and crawled over to the side of a hut, leaning against the wall.

"Well…um…I guess it starts in my time…I was going back, as I told you guys, when I saw my father in the kitchen." Kagome said, sitting down.

"But your dad's dead!! Isn't he?" Shippou said, looking confused.

"That's what I thought, Shippou…anyways, continuing, I walked into the kitchen, and then I found out that I was a demon…and…well…ya…" Kagome said, though I had a feeling she was leaving something out.

Shippou hopped into Kagome's lap and hugged her waist tightly. "Now you'll live as long as me, mommy!!" he said. She smiled, hugged him tightly, and said,

"So I will." I almost growled. The stupid kit was ruining her scent! I mentally berated myself - she is merely a nin - another worthless female, not worth my attention. (AN: Cocky, isn't he?)

"So…" Kagome broke the silence.

"Who…told you that you were a demon? Your mother?" Miroku asked silently.

"Um…both of them did…" Kagome said, though I still felt that she was hiding something.

"Well, this is all sorted out, so I'm going to go to sleep…" the taijya said, still dazed. Though it seemed not dazed enough to notice a hand on her rear.

"HENTAI!" rang throughout the room. I stood and walked out of the hut, thinking about what had happened. I really did sigh out loud.

"Things keep getting stranger and stranger.", as I jumped up into a tall tree, waiting for the pack to finish sleeping so I could find the accursed shards. What good would a jewel do if it only brought evil to the world?

(Normal POV)

Kagome yawned, and rolled out her sleeping bag. Everyone, still thoroughly confused about the recent events and believe that this was just a weird dream and they would wake up from it tomorrow, also got ready to sleep. Kagome snuggled into the blanket, hugged Shippou tighter, and fell into a fitful night's sleep.

…

`KAGOME!' `Kagome…' `kagome…' `kagome…' echoed throughout the silence. Kagome groaned, and not knowing it was a dream, yelled,

"WHAT?!"

`Wake up!'

"I'm not sleeping! Why do I have to wake up!" Kagome said.

`WAKE UP!'

"Ok, look - I'm going to pinch myself…wait…it doesn't hurt…oh…I AM sleeping…hehe…" she said sheepishly. "Weird dream…" She was snapped awake as she felt herself being tickled.

"Ahh!! Shippou, stop! Mercy, mercy!" she choked between laughs. "I'm awake, I'm awake!"

"Finally! Okaa, can you please make me some breakfast?" Shippou asked.

"Ok, ok, just let me get things all ready, ok?" Kagome said as she got up and stretched lazily.

(AN: Too lazy to type it all…)

The group, now satisfied of their hunger, rose and continued on their journey for the shikon jewel shards. Sango, Miroku, and Kagome hopped onto Kirara, and Sesshoumaru formed his mist cloud. Kagome had sensed a few shard fragments in the south -though they all didn't know, except for Kagome, of course, that she was traveling in her own lands.

CRASH

BOOM

CRASH

Up in the distance, the head of a huge troll-like monster made it's way through the forest.

"There are 7 shards in it! 2 in each hand, and 3 in it's head!" Kagome pointed.

"Se…seven?!" Shippou squeaked, and hid behind Kagome.

"Shippou, stay here. If you need help, or if you're attacked, just call my name. I'll hear you, ok? I don't want you to get hurt." Kagome said, knowing that his `fox fire' wouldn't help much.

"Hai, mama!" he said as he jumped and transformed into the huge pink balloon. He landed, and he could be seen jumping into a tree, waiting.

The others sped up and -

"GIVE. ME. THE. JEWEL. SHARDS!!" the troll could be heard bellowing. Surprisingly, Kagome jumped down from the sky and landed perfectly on a tree branch. `Wow…must be my demon instincts…' she thought. Sesshoumaru just floated down in silently, but gracefully. Though he disappeared into a blur the moment he landed. Huge flashes of purple could be seen, and moments later, the troll's head fell onto the ground. Though there was 1 problem - the body was still moving…

SCL: Ok, you can all guess what happens next, blablabla but I don't have the time to type all the long chapters up! So all I can do right now is post every chapter when I have around 5 pages on Microsoft Word.

Kikyou: I see that I wasn't exactly mentioned…(eyes glowing)

SCL: Well too bad, dead bitch!! YOU are just a dead clay pot!

Kikyou: (whines) Inu-yasha!

Inu-yasha: SHUT UP! BITCH, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!

SCL: Try, try. It's my story. If I type "Inu-yasha dies", you die.

Inu-yasha: (plop)

SCL: Woops!! Did I say that? …uh…anyways, see ya'll later!
