Sesshoumaru looked down at the girl who had slammed into the door, a half-smile gracing his lips. “Is this your friend?”

Kagome snorted. “She wishes.”

Sesshoumaru nodded and cocked a brow. “What was she trying to do?”

Kagome turned red. “She wanted to…meet you.” Their conversation was interrupted by a loud moan, followed by a “What happened?”

Kagome snorted again, this time in laughter. “You ran into the wall ‘cause you weren’t looking where you were going.” She said quietly, choking back laughter as she shut the door while Kikyo’s eyes were still closed so she wouldn’t realize the truth.

Kikyo rubbed her head and opened her eyes, for the first time noticing Sesshoumaru. “Well, hello there,” she said, batting her eyelashes as she picked herself up off the ground.

“Is he hot?”

“This isn’t really-“

“I want to meet him!”

Inuyasha entered the room just as the two girls, both pretty much the same height, left it. Having heard the conversation before he entered, he figured neither was here for treatment.

Grinning, he walked down the hall to his brother’s room to see who his new roommate was.

What met his eyes surprised him. His brother was smirking at a smiling girl, who was laughing at a girl sprawled on the floor. He was even more surprised when he realized that the girl on the floor was trying to flirt with Sesshoumaru.

Sesshoumaru saw Inuyasha first, his mouth hanging open as he stared at the girl on the floor. Standing beside Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru whispered “You can have her.” He was smirking widely now, and Inuyasha’s mouth continued to hang open.

“So, Kagome,” Kikyo, who was now standing said, clueless to what had just transpired between the brothers. “Who’s your friend?”

Kagome looked bewildered. “My friend? Oh, my friend…that’s my roommate, Sesshoumaru.”

Inuyasha had just succeeded in closing his gaping mouth, but at this, it fell open again. “I thought they banned the guy-girl rule.”

Sesshoumaru snorted and walked into the room he and Kagome shared. Inuyasha was hot on his heels, followed by Kikyo, but the door was slammed in her face. Kikyo glared at the door, then turned to Kagome. “So, how about that lunch?”

(Oh, by the way, to answer questions that I’m sure will appear, there’s sort of going to be a ‘love triangle’ going on here. Sesshoumaru’s going to like Kagome, Kagome’s going to like Inuyasha, Inuyasha’s going to like Kikyo, and Kikyo’s going to like Sesshoumaru. This will all be sorted out in time, just be patient!) Oh, and sorry the chapter’s so short.
