Chap.10- Where Has Rai Been?

A knock woke Kagome in the middle of the night. She walked out of her room and ran into Sango. "Who is that?"

"I don't know, we weren't expecting anyone." She grabbed Kagome's arm making her follow. "I don't want to go out there alone."

"Fine." Kagome walked along side her agent until they reached the door. The person knocked again, making Sango jump at the sudden noise. Kagome stood rigid then let her muscles loose and put her hand on the door knob. The heaviness was light tonight and the force that she pulled it back with blew wind past her.

Rai stood there, his eyes downcast. Not able to contain her surprise Kagome flew forward catching him by surprise. Her arms wrapped around his neck tightly. "I'll never let you leave this damn house again." She whispered threateningly.

"Don't worry about that. I don't plan on going anywhere." He hugged her back inhaling her scent, hoping she wouldn't mind. He had been gone for so long and found he couldn't live without her. In the same instant he had the thought of what he came here to do.

"Where in the hell have you been?"

"Finding myself…" they separated Kagome leading him into the house. By that time the boys had come down stairs.

"RAI!" the boys gave him pats on the back and Darren couldn't help but hug him. "We missed you."

"Yeah, well I'm here now… I heard there was an audition for a new drummer. Moving on so fast are we Kagome?" he had a mocking tone.

"Move on from you? Why Rai how can you ask me that? I thought you weren't coming back. We had to get a replacement." For a second she was confused.

He said nothing more but an, "I'm tired.", before moving to his rooms which thankfully Kareena had not moved into yet. Kagome returned to her rooms falling into a dream.

"Bitch get back here." Rai screamed at her. She turned back to him.

"Go with her if you want I don't care any more. Kareena was more than nice to you, why do you insist on her…" Kagome said pointing to a twin of herself.

"Because she looks like you, and I'm in love with you, not Kareena."

"You are too in love with Kareena, you just can't see it because everyone else says so and you refuse to! Go to her with her Rai if you insist, at least one person will be heart broken, but remember she is not me…" He was taken aback and his mouth gaped open with disbelief.

Suddenly Kagome woke to the slightest chill in the air. Her window was open, wide open. She got up to close it and was captured from behind by rough hands. They slammed her into the ground and a body sat on her from above. Only now did she notice the silvery hair that fell around her face. "Inuyasha?"

"I couldn't live without you for so long. I couldn't…" he didn't finish his sentence. Her mouth enclosed on his. His hardness was against her most private part.

"Inu… please go." She whispered softly pulling away as she felt this.

"I won't be without you any longer." He pulled her pants down in one fluid motion. She gasped at the coldness of her room. He pulled her close to his body.

"I said go…" She slapped him hard enough to make him flinch.

"Damn you woman." He backed away into a corner and stared at her angrily. "Fine, I'll go, but I'll be back.."
