Chapter 3
The sun was rising and the sky was clear. Kagome walked out of the hut they spent the night in and took a deep breath. ' it seems they dont hate me, and inuyasha was he really afraid i was gonna leave him. speaking of leaving. we need to get the search for the shards going now that i have my full power i can since where almost every single one is. bet inuyasha is going to love that' she let out a small chuckle.
"whats so funny?"
Kagome turned around to see inuyasha staning in the door way. Her eyes shined at the site of him. this didnt go unnoticed by him or the on looker.
" oh nothing much its just that i can since almost all the shards now."
this time inuyasha's eyes sparkeled "really?"
"yep also" she took a deep breath " I KNOW YOUR THERE BANKOTSU"
inuyahsa ears flatend to his head at the high volume of kagomes voice. he faced the direction kagome was looking and as if on cue bankotsu emerged from behind a tree looking smug.
inuyasha put his hand on the hilt of his sword while asking " what the hell are you doing here havent i kick your ass enough times for you to get the point"
bankotsu shrugged his sholders. " i'm not here to fight you mutt face im here to take my futuer wife home."
kagome looked at him "ehh what are you talking about bankotsu. OH did you meet a girl in this village, i knew you couldnt be that psycho."
inuyasha was having trouble holding in his laugh. " so who is the not so lucky girl."
Bankotsu face turned into a deadly smirk " why its the woman who's father gave her to the black star tribe.. and that would be you kagome"
kagome blinked inuyahsa yelled " LIKE HELL SHE IS"
kagome started laughing. bankotsu and inuyahsa looked at her.
shaking her lightly inuyahsa asked " kagome you ok?"
"ha yes im fine its just that YOU" she pointed at bankotsu "are the son of the black star tribe. YOUR SO WEAK!!" she broke into a fit a laughter followed by inuyaha's.
bankotsu glared at her " IM NOT WEEK YOU ..YOU STUPID GIRL I CAN KICK YOUR ASS"
kagome stopped laughing "oh really why dont you put your sword where you mouth is.. and by the way that braid makes you look like a fag."
inuyahsa was now rolling on the ground laughing while the others stood in the door way snickering having been woken by all the yelling. shippo jumped on sangos shoulder and stared right at kagome " KICK HIS BUTT MOMMA"
everyone turned to look at the kit. kagome held love and tears in her eyes. " shippo did you just call me momma?"
the kit looked down a blush on his face and in a low voice he piped out a "yes"
"OH MY BABY" kagome yelled running to where she was a blur and grabbed the kit hugging him close to her body.
" put that nasty demon down and fight me wench"
at those words kagome turn rage filled eyes to bankotsu clintching her fist to her sides "what did you just call my son"
shippo jumped out of his momma's arms and ran to sango. " Your going to get it now" he stuck out his tounge at bankotsu.
looking at kagome he realied he had a real fight on his hands. he pulled his sword infront of him.
Swiftly kagome pulled her sword. Bankotsu hair fanned his face. his eyes shifted to kagomes free hand she held his braid smirking.
his hand flew to his hair.."what did you do how did you"
"i was a master at seven."
bankotsu stared at her " how is that possible, i didnt start training till i was eight"
kagomes eyes held a glint of sadness. inuyahsa went to her side, before speeking up. " just go before one of us finally kill you"
Bankotsu smirked " ill go just remember your father is still looking for you my little kagome and you will be held to deal."
he took off running.
shippo jumped in kagomes arm's " dont worry about him momma ill protect you"
She smiled " thank you my son " she turned with shippo still in her arms. " whos hungry??"

Sesshoumaru paced back in forth in his study. ' damn that girl, i remember her now rin looks so much like her at that age.' letting out a sigh he said at his desk.
**Flash back**
A litte six year old girl was running around in a field of flowers sesshoumarus father sent him to watch the heir of the other lord. ' watch a little girl i should be in there with father. does he think so little of me' the little girl ran up to the demon holding out a pink flower.
" HI my name is kagome whats yours?"
sesshoumaru pinched the bridge of his nose ' must be nice must be nice'
taking the flower from her he looked at her face her eyes were shining and wide smile spread accross her face.
" i am sesshoumaru-sama"
the little girl smiled even brighter if possible.
" will you spar with me im bored"
sesshoumaru let out a chuckle ' this child cant be seirous'
"pleasee sesshoumaru-sama" she looked up at him with her sadest puppy dog eyes.
" all right but i wont go easy on you" he moved into a defincive possition.
kagomes eyes took on a new light she moved into an attack stance.
next thing sesshoumaru knew he was on the ground with a terible pain in his face. He could hear kagome crying. ' someones attacking' he jumped up looking around and saw no one. he brought his hand to his nose where the most pain was comming from. 'blood, my nose is broke but who?'
kagome was tugging at his pants legs " please sesshoumaru dont be mad at me i didnt mean to hit you that hard"
stuned to say this least he stared down at the little girl crying her eyes out on his pants. " hush kagome it is my fault i thought you to be a weak human girl. now stop crying"
she did " do you want me to fix it"
"can you do that?"
grabbing his shirt tugging his face down to her level. she placed her hand on his nose gently. he felt a tingle in his face and it came it soon stopped. the pain was gone. looking into kagomes smiling eyes he grew a new respect for the little girl.
**end flash back**
'That was the first time i met her i felt so bad when her father came to get her and the look of fear that flooded her eyes. i spent the next year with her watching over her trying to keep her father away from her. that must be why i took rin that smile those eyes and thoes damn human men beating them' sesshoumaru let out a growl.
he stood up "jaken" the ugly toad came running in " yes mi-lord" bowing his green head to the floor. " watch rin"
"yes sir, if your lord-ship would be so kind to tell this lowly servent were you will be going and when you will be back."
" watch rin ill be back when i am." with that he left to find something to kill something to relese his rage.
