Chapter 4
Packed and tummys full the inu-group took off heading in the direction of the closest shard. All were on foot so there food could settle. Inuyahsa and kagome were walking side by side in the lead.
"hey kagome" inuyahsa said in a low voice.
"yah inuyasha?"
Looking at his feet he spoke up. " i know your a assassin master and all but i would feel much better if you would leave the killing to me i dont think i could deal with you getting hurt because im not strong enough."
kagome looked at inuyasha who was still staring at his feet. " oh inuyasha i will try but also know this now that im strong again dont think that im gonna let you or the others get hurt. were more than a group were family.
at that inuyasha looked to kagome who was smiling at him. he couldnt help but smile back.
'hes always going to be worried about me, even if i was kami he would still worry about me getting hurt oh i know what would cheer him up.'
"you know inuyasha when i was six i broke sesshoumarus nose."
"NO WAY" inuyahsa yelled as he was over come with laughter.
the group traveled the rest of the day everyone talking and laughing when the sun begain to set, they stopped to make camp for the night. once settled in inuyahsa took watch in a tree branch. kagome snuggled shippo in her sleeping bag. sang held onto kirara and miroku leand on the tree inuyahsa was in.
"Kagome, kagome wake up"
kagome sat up looking arround everyone was gone and there looked to be light fog everywhere. "whos there" she said as she stood up.
"Dont you remember your own grandma" said the voice as the dead miko appeared in a ghostly form infornt of kagome.
eyes going wide kagome took in a deep breath. " whats going on?"
"shh child, i dont have long but i must warn you about the time to come."
kagome stood dumbfounded the only thing she could do was nodd her head in the yes motion.
the elder miko smiled. then her face became seirous. " i know your hurting inside and that you have for a long time. soon you will have to face that hurt head on." she looked at her grand-child with sadness in her eyes. " when you wake call me to you and my soul will come. once it has you must return to you mother you will have three guest that will follow help them" she begain to fade
"WAIT" kagome yelled "please know that you have made me proud and i have faith in you"
with that she was gone. Tears streaked down kagomes face "grandma, grandpa has miss you so much why didnt you let him help you."
kagome fell to her knees sobbing out her sadness and frustration.
morning came all too soon for the group. kagome slowly opend her eyes. everything that had happend in her dream freash as were the streaks of dryed tears on her face. Slidding out of here sleeping bag hoping not to wake her sleeping kit, she stood walking to the tree inuyahsa was perched in watching her. she motioned for him to come down.
once down he asked " whats up "
she told him of her dream. " fine once done calling her or what ever ill take you to the well but im going with you i dont like the idea of three guest following you"
kagome smiled and nodded. looking to sango and miroku they nodded as well. The now awake kit hoped on to his mommas sholder. " you can only go if you promise to come back"

settling her eyes she grabbed shippo placing him on the ground. ' here goes nothing' she thought.
placing her hand out infront of her she closed her eyes feeling deep with herself she grabbed her power sending it in every direction " I CALL YOU TO ME NOW" blue and pink lights fashed from her body a wind could be felt on the ground but the trees never blew. opeing her eyes she saw the jewl shards rushing towards her. ' her soul thats what she ment the jewl is her soul' the shards hit the clump she around her neck as a pink light surrounded her. once the light faded she looked to her neck the jewl was whole.
everyone gasped sango fell to her knees. "no" she started crying. kagome looked to her adoptive sister. " sango he is not dead, he still lives naraku lied his body is healed" looking up sango asked " really you mean it?" smiling kagome nodded her head.
after tear full hugs and joyfull smiles the inu-group split up. sango mirkou and shippo rode on kirara back to the village as kagome rode on inuyashas back to the well.
