Chapter 10

kagomes head started spinning. " okay let me get this right. the guy in here is onigumo and his body is made of demons but it has a human heart. Naraku has onigumos body and hearts of demons and the demons can only stay apart of naraku if they keep his human body alive. so if we kill this demon with a human heart narakus human body dies and all the demons with it."
"two birds with one stone" kagome said. midoriko nodded once more.
" but one thing i dont get if narkau doesnt have onigumos heart why does he love me?"
" because the heart will always affect the mind." Midoriko said while smiling softly at her grand child.

HAHAHAHA " MIKOOO COME OUT AND PLAY" The demon of the jewl said.
Kagome and midoriko stood from the small round table they were sitting at. Midoriko took the lead once they made it through the door kagome saw the demon. ' he looks just like onigumo'
the demon was standing on the edge between the dark and light.
" i see you brought a child to help you" he let out a laugh.
kagome gripped her sword as did midoriko. " what should i call the guy im about to kill" kagome said to the demon.
" why child my name is akuji"
kagome snorted " evil, fitting did you have to think hard to pick that one out?"
" why you little" akuji rushed towrds the young girl swinging his sword hibana at her mid section.
whips of black smoke is all his sword met.
kagome was behind akuji now her hands held her sword ni tenshi tight. akuji turned around and faced the girl " who are you"
kagome smirked while jummping back. " i am Kagome Higurashi, grand child to midoriko"
his eyes narrowed at midoriko who was standing off to the side. " i see so what are you" he said while turning his gaze back to kagome.
" I'm just a girl"
akuji snareld " i might not beable to kill her but i can you!!" he rushed her agian raising his sword above his he he yelled out " fire storm"
tornados of fire came rushing at kagome. she started to swing her sword in a slow circle motion her eyes flashed from brown to blue as a wall of ice covered her on all sides. the fire passed as the ice melted. Kagome was standing there with her eyes glowing a pearcing blue.
" IS THAT ALL YOU GOT" kagome screamed at him, her eyes flashing hard. " I MIGHT BE A MIKO BUT I WAS RAISED AS AN HEARTLESS ASSASSIN"
kagome charged him, he never saw her move. she sliced him at the hip his upper body detached from his lower.
akuji let out a snarle. " STUPID BITCH" strings of fleash shot out to his top half bringing him back together.
kagome let out a growl as the happy loving girl vanished into a heartless killer, she reached into her back pocket and pulled out her ipod unwrapping the head phone she placed them in her ears and pressed play. How low by ludacris started palying " now this wont do im not dancing im fighting" kagome said .
akuji looked at the girl that was fighting him mess with a little box and put things in her ears. Midoriko looked to her grand child ' what in the world is she doing.'
kagome pushed next Girl Fight by brook valintine started and kagome busted out laughing while looking at akuji. she hit next one more time and Break by Three Days Grace started she started bobbing her head to the beat with her eyes closed.
she sang in a whisper. " tonight my head is spinning i need something to pick me up i've tried but nothing is working" she started to sing louder " i wont stop i wont say ive had enough, tonight i start the fire to nigh i break away BREAK" she yelled the last word as her eyes flew open now lost in her own world as the music blared in her ears. She flew forward right when akuji finished pulling him self back together. Swinging her blade, a clack could be heard as he blocked with his own. kagome twisted her wrist bringing her blade under his she lurched foword getting her blades tip close to his hilt. pulling back fast his blade flew from his hands and landing behind kagome. before he had a chance to go after it kagome jumped back grabbing her blade in both hands she brought her blade down on his shattering it into tiny shards of metal. akuji jumped back and glared at kagome 'shes good, too good i might not win' kagome placed her sword to her side while moving her feet to a hand to hand stance.
midoriko still stood on the side lines shocked at her grand childs abilitys. ' kami what have you done to my kagome' she thought as she saw all the power in the girl.
akuji stood up stright his eyes beeding where her heart was ' there it is' he thought as he let out a evil laugh.
kagomes eyes widend in horror her heart ached as flashes of her father beating her ran through her eyes tears started streaming down her face. she felt every strike to her skin as if was there beating her again. the song break ended as pain by three days grace played. her tears came faster she pulled all her will to listen to the words her mouth moved along with them trying her best to excape the images and the pain of her beloved father killing her inside. " your sick of filling numb your not the only. ill take you by the hand ill show you a world you can understand, this life is filled with hurt when happiness doesnt work trust me and take my hand when the lights go out you will understand pain with out love pain cant get enoguh pain i like it rough cause i would rather feel pain than nothing at all." at that last part kagome opend her pain filled eyes and stared at akuji she yelled at him with tears streaming down her face. " I'D RATHER FILL PAIN THAN NOTHING AT ALL" slowly she stood each beat of her heart felt like millions of needles flowed through her veins. akujis eyes widend in fear. no one ever got back up from that attack, no one.
the song kept playing and kagome kept listening the words so true to her, but she did have something still, she had the love from her mother, she listend on the singers voiced changed into that of her mothers " i know that your wounded, you know that im here to save you, you know that im always here for you," she pictrued her mothers smiling face " i know that you can thank me later."
the tears that fell from her eyes were now that of love the pain in her body soon stopped. she ripped the head phone from her ears.
akujis stared at her " HOW DID YOU BREAK IT HOW?" he screamed at her.
kagome let out a small smile. " my father might of beat me but my mother loved me and saved me."
akuji let out a fearel growl as he charged at kagome. she stood still right when he got an inch from her she plunged her hand into his chest grasping his heart in her hand she pulled back taking the heart with her. akuji went limp as he fell to his knees, he brought his head up to look at her she looked down on him eyes showing no pity her hand squeezed his heart blood spewed from it she pushed her purity power into the heart and it slowly turned to ash a chilled wind blew by taking the ashes with it.
