Disclaimer: You know, I know, that you know, that I know that I don’t own these series so why the hell do I have to keep posting this stupid dialogue!

A.N: I’m sorry, I couldn’t update exams and stuff, not to mention my net was banned for quite a while and then my computer broke with me, leaving me in quite a sad state. By the time we reconciled, I forgot, I was supposed to update.

LAST TIME

Inuyasha jumped to safety and grabbed his haori, wrapping it around his shivering mate. Kagome coughed, and opened her eyes.

“Inuyasha, I'm hungry.”

Inuyasha just stared at her eyes, ignoring her words. Kagome blinked her new golden eyes at him, confused.

ONWARDS

“Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha opened his mouth but nothing came out. Kagome’s eyes were the same color as his.

Growing irritated, Kagome wriggled impatiently. Her scent drifted towards her mate’s sensitive nose, and his eyes grew wide. It was not possible!

He sniffed at Kagome and confirmed his doubts. Her scent had indeed changed. It was her own comforting scent, but there was something strange about it. It was human, but not quite human. It was definitely not the scent of a demon, but……

“Inuyasha!”

This time, when Kagome grabbed his locks and pulled his face inches from hers, did he realize that his mate was getting angry.

He looked at her, “Kagome.”

Seeing the frantic look on his face, Kagome got worried, “What’s wrong?” When he just continued to stare at her, “What is the matter, Inuyasha!?”

Looking downcast, he looked anywhere but at her, and mumbled, “Your eyes. Your scent.”

Seeing his tormented expression, kept her from losing her cool. Dragging away from him, she rushed towards the hot springs, and looked at her face. Seeing her eyes, she gasped, and rubbed her hand over her face.

“What’s going on?” she muttered.

Looking back, she saw that Inuyasha was still staring at the ground with a blank expression. He had not moved an inch.

She walked towards him, her form trembling with fear. Did he hate her?

“Inuyasha? Inuyasha? Inuyasha!”

She was standing in front of him, now, gripping his bare arms in her cold hands. Hands, that were cold with fear. Why was he rejecting her? Why was he casting her out of his mind?

“Inuyasha look at me, dammit!”

Finally, he shifted his gaze to her face. Her amber eyes were swimming with tears and her scent was clear and he could feel pain and fear rolling of her. Somewhere in his mind, he felt a pull, a need. And he realized.

Before Kagome could blink, she was wrapped in a warm embrace. Inuyasha’s head was buried in her neck, “I’m sorry! I’m so sorry! I told her that it would be your choice!”

Kagome’s eyes opened in shock, “Her? Choice?”

With some difficulty, she pulled back and stared at him, confused, “What are you talking about? Inuyasha, what happened to me?”

Looking at amber eyes staring at him in confusion and fear, he answered, “I came back and you weren’t there. You were in the water, with this weird light around you, and then I heard Midoriko. She said that you could have my demon years.”

“Demon years?”

Inuyasha shifted, “Your lifetime would be extended to match mine. I wouldn’t lose you.” He lifted his eyes to her frantically, “But I told her, I wouldn’t force such a choice on you. It was your life, and it was your decision. But then she mumbled some mumbo jumbo and you started floating and the water started floating and …”

Kagome’s eyes gentled, and she framed her mate’s face in her hands, “Did you want to say yes to her?”

Inuyasha looked away and mumbled like a scared but yet defiant child, “Yes.”

“Why?”

This time, Inuyasha looked startled and his eyes flashed with something, as he gripped her wrists in both hands, pulling her closer to him, “Because I don’t want to imagine a time where you won’t be by my side. You’re my other half, Kagome, I can’t lose you. You’re the only reason why I’m living right now. Aside from you, I have no one I can call my own in this world. When I’m upset, I want you to be there to comfort me. When I do something wrong, I want you to be there to yell at me. And when I want to cherish you, I want you to be the only person my eyes can see.”

He let go of her, “Without you my life is meaningless. But I won’t force you. I will never force you to do something, you don’t want to do!”

Kagome’s eyes teared up, and she lunged at Inuyasha, both of them falling on the ground. Without thinking, she started smothering his face with kisses, and finally setting on his mouth.

Passion burned through both of them, as Inuyasha forgot his sensibilities and his demon side took over. His eyes flashed blood red, as the demon in him roared out, wanting to express its own feelings.

Flipping Kagome over, he tore the haroi from her body and started kissing wherever place within his range.

Both of them were breathing hard, as Inuyasha spoke in a grating voice, “Mate…Mine…I love My Mate. Kagome. I love Kagome.”

Kagome’s eyes opened wide at those words and she saw that Inuyasha’s demon side had emerged. Instead of being scared, she submitted to him, and whispered, “I love My Mate. I love you, Inuyasha.”

At that, her mate threw back his head and howled in triumph.

R 20;Kagome here. Eat this.”

Sitting on his haunches in front of her, Inuyasha held out a piece of something red and slimy. It was night and they were camping beside the spring, a fire burning behind him.

Immediately suspicious, Kagome backed away from him immediately, scrambling on her knees away from him.

However, Inuyasha was to have none of that. Grabbing her by the waist, he pulled her towards him so that, it was like he was on his hands and feet and Kagome was beneath him, her back pressed to his chest.

They both gasped out. It was a very erotic position. To both of them it seemed like he was dominating her.

His breath hot on her neck, Inuyasha whispered silkily, “Submit.”

Immediately, her body of its own accord went limp underneath his grip, and she exposed her neck.

Licking her neck, he tightened his grip on her waist, “Disobeying me is not the right way to regain you health koi."

Kagome just moaned, as his mouth did wonderful things to the back of her neck.

Suddenly she gasped, as he flipped her over, pinning her thin frame under his hot body.

His eyes were bleeding red, and he slammed his mouth against hers. She moaned again, and taking advantage of that, he thrust his tongue into her mouth. Kagome tried to shift but, with one hand, Inuyasha pinned her hands against the ground, above her head, making her his prisoner.

The kiss heated Kagome's lower regions, making her squirm with discomfort. She needed Inuyasha and the bastard was purposely torturing her.

Suddenly her eyes flew open, as she encountered a strange slimy taste in her mouth. Inuyasha pulled away from her and grinned cheekily at her. Realizing what he had done, Kagome had no choice but to swallow.

Making a face at the disgusting taste, she sat up, wrapping Inuyasha’s haroi tightly around her. Glaring at her grinning mate, she drank some water from the rough wooden cup Inuyasha had made her, to get rid of the taste.

“Now you can eat this.” Inuyasha handed her the roasted fish, which had been cooking on the fire up till now.

“What the hell was that?” Kagome growled. Inuyasha took a bite out of his own fish, “Liver.”

“Kagome stared at him in horror, “Raw?”

“Keh.”

Kagome shuddered, “Inuyasha, in my time there is a saying in my time, ‘Love knows no bounds,’ , but I cross the line at raw meat!”

Inuyasha was indifferent, “Keh, you need it for the pup.”

“Pup!?” Kagome’s eyes popped out. “You got me pregnant!?”

At that, Inuyasha looked up, a strange emotion swirling in his eyes. He was about to say something, when Kagome clasped her hands together, “I have to talk to Mama. We have to plan a baby shower, and then buy things for the baby. Soft toys! Lots and lots of soft toys…”

“Wait, you’re not angry?”

Kagome broke out of her planning to give him a strange look, “Angry? What about?”

Inuyasha looked down, “I impregnated you. You’re gonna give birth to a half breed.”

Kagome looked at him, as if he’d lost his mind. Then slowly, as if to a two year old, “No Inuyasha. I am going to give birth to our child.”

Inuyasha got up, and before Kagome could ask him what he was doing, he picked her up, and held her to his chest. Kagome could hear his heartbeat, loud and steady, as he whispered, “I don’t deserve you, Kagome.”

Kagome pulled away from him, resting her hands on his chest, “Are you sure? Because, if you think so, then I could probably go home. I mean there is Hojo back home.”

A vicious growl interrupted her sentence. Inuyasha’s hand twisted in her hair, and pulled her head back to make her look into the red eyes of the demon, “You are MY Mate! You belong to Me!”

With that, he shifted his grasp on her hair, and pulling her neck to one side, bit, none too gently. Kagome screamed in pain, but suddenly the pain turned into a strange erotic feeling which left her gasping.

Licking the mark, Inuyasha release her and she stumbled a step or two, before finally regaining her balance.

Inuyasha’s sober golden eyes looked at her, before he turned his back on her and sat down in front of the fire.

“Inuyasha?’” Kagome ventured timidly. She touched the place where his fangs had pierced her and winced as it felt tender.

She walked up to him, and put a hand on his shoulder, “I’m sorry, I was just joking with you.”

Before she knew it, Inuyasha was cradling her in his arms, his face in her neck. “Don’t ever say such a thing to me again! You could have anybody but you chose me. I don’t want to lose you, onna.”

Kagome put her arms around him, and hugged him fiercely, “As if you could ever get rid of me, you big idiot.”

They sat like this for a while, before Inuyasha spoke, “When do we go tell your mother and buy some ramen?”

Kagome looked him straight in the eye, “As soon as you get over your stupid idea, of feeding me raw liver.”
