It had been two weeks, since the event occurred, two weeks since InuYasha had left their rather unorthorodox group, two weeks of worry and regret on Kagomes part. It had started of like a usual day for the group and it had been relatively peaceful in terms of no youkai attacking them for the one jewel shard that they had, it was peaceful till Kouga came along, once Kouga came things became predictable, Kouga would grab Kagome and start declaring his love for her, InuYasha would get in between separating Kouga from Kagome and then InuYasha and Kouga would get into their little fight, which would be ended by Kagome sitting InuYasha and then Kouga would take his leave. This time though something different happened, when Kagome sat InuYasha he was quiet, no swear words emerged from his mouth, he basically did nothing, everyone except for Kouga was aware of this change in what had become routine, by the time Kouga had left the subduing necklace had released its magical hold on InuYasha and he stood up, everyone expected a terrible barrage of swear words to come forth from InuYashas lips that would have had even Sesshomaru cringing in horror, but nothing came forth, all he did was turn around and walk away from them. That was the last time any of them had seen InuYasha, they had since then been waiting at Kaede's village waiting for him to come back.

 

 

InuYasha

 

He had been wandering around ever since that day, when it became glaringly clear to him that Kagome wanted Kouga, her actions had more than proven who she desired more out of the two of them, but yet that wasn't all that became clear to him, he also found out how much he cared about Kagome and it was easy for him to know that he wanted to be more than just friends with her, it hurt him to find out that he loved Kagome and yet at the same time to realize that she desired someone else, at first he had left because he was hurting, he planned on meeting them again later on in the day, but the more he thought about it the angrier he got, not just at Kagome but also at Miroku, and Sango. If Kagome wanted Kouga why didn't she just leave with him and let it end there, but no she had stayed with him, let him believe that she cared about him, but yet every single time Kouga had shown up she would show where her loyalty truly lay by embarrassing him in front of Kouga with this fucking necklace, and every time he confronted her with what happened the conniving bitch would get offended and leave for her era making him seem like the bad guy each and every single time, and he was the one who always had to come and get her back, that was when he had decided no more, and left. He tried to hate her for it, but to his dismay found out that he could never hate her, so he had decided to use his anger to drive him onward, from that point on he would trust no one ever again, the only ones that he could trust were dead.

 

 

At another area

 

The lord walked at his own pace still searching for that abomination of a hanyou, Naraku had wronged him in more ways than one and Sesshomaru had taken up the hunt to make sure that he got his revenge. As he continued down the beaten path before him, he saw an old man sitting on the side of the road, he normally would have taken no notice of such a being that was beneath him but, this man was different, he had no scent in fact if Sesshomaru had not been able to see him with his own eyes he would never have known this man was there. Sesshomaru's curiosity was sparked as he approached the man, he was spoken to “Sesshomaru, you are finally here”, “whom are you and how do you know my name human?” responded Sesshomaru who was slightly unnerved even though nothing in his body language would tell you so. The old man grinned at Sesshomaru and said “I have a gift for you, young lord, I give you back what was taken from you because of your stupidity” that comment intrigued and slightly irritated Sesshomaru, and his amber eyes narrowed before he spoke “and what is it that this Sesshomaru lost because of his stupidity?” the grin on the old mans face increased as he said “why your arm of course” Sesshomaru scoffed then said “I no longer need it” turning back to look at the old man, Sesshomaru was startled to see that he was gone and in his place was his arm, which InuYasha had for lack of a better term hacked off, Sesshomaru looked around to see if he could see where the old man had gone off to when he heard a voice say “take the arm Sesshomaru, it is yours, besides wouldn't you like to test your strength against InuYasha? No swords involved, just claw to claw?” again Sesshomaru scoffed, and said “I have no desire to fight that half breed disgrace I must acknowledge as my brother, what is the use when I already know that I am his superior in everyway” the area was suddenly filled with laughter as the voice once again spoke “are you superior to InuYasha when he is a full youkai? Even you must have noticed that he is strong, think about it Sesshomaru, fighting InuYasha as a full youkai just claw to claw would be like fighting against your fathers strength, it will be your ultimate challenge” Sesshomaru looked thoughtful for a while before picking up his arm from the ground.

He watched as Sesshomaru reattached his missing arm back to his body, and walk away to find InuYasha, his plan was working perfectly, now all he needed was for InuYasha to play his part perfectly and he would be able to easily kill two birds with one stone. Laughing softly to itself the figure smiled and said “they'll never even know what hit them”
