Chapter 2: Noticed

`What a wonderful place! The only thing is I can't sleep well in new places no matter how beautiful it is.' Kagome looked around in her dark room. It's been two days since she came to the castle. She was staring at the chandelier in the dark and was sitting up in her bed right now.

The chandelier looked like a giant spider with many legs and many more eyes. Kagome groaned as she got up out of her bed. She went to her desk and took the three candles that were on it. She went out her room to one of the torches in the hallway and lit one.

`Why do I have to be afraid of the dark at the age eighteen?!!'

When she went back into her room she lit the other candles and put them in the corners of her room. She looked at her door it was still open and since she had no shoes she walked on the marble floors (the kitchen). She looked at her night kimono and sighed.

All her night kimonos stopped at the mid thighs which showed a lot of skin. Her room was right across from Sesshoumaru's and their rooms were the only ones on the fourth floor. She looked around her dimmed lit room and took a deep breath. `This is my third night here and I still didn't get a task. It's not like I'm anxious for one it's just it's boring to be in my room just sitting on the balcony unable to go anywhere.'

Flashback…………

“You will not go anywhere without my permission. That means when you want to go downstairs you have to ask me.” Sesshoumaru coldly said.

“Sesshoumaru that's not right! You can't keep me in here like I'm some bird in a cage!” Kagome snapped back.

“Okay you could be on your way out then.” he responded in a colder tone. It sent chills down Kagome spine and she looked into his cold emotionless face.

“That's not fair either, you're threatening me! I'm your servant and you still didn't give me a task so how in the world would you know that I can do good or bad!” Kagome shouted back at him.

“I didn't give you a task yet because of your back talk, wench! Now shut up! Go back in your room before I have you thrown out of this castle for real.” Sesshoumaru said standing up. Kagome was in his room and he couldn't stand when woman try to argue you him. `She's lucky I'm letting her live here for free.'

Kagome backed up and left his room. `What an asshole!'

End of Flashback…………

Kagome kept staring at his room doors and stuck out her tongue at them. She then walked slowly over to the door. `I wonder what he looks like sleeping.' Kagome opened the door slowly and quietly walked in. She looked around and couldn't see any of his furniture in his room. She closed her eyes and stuck her hands out so she can find the bed. It took her a few minutes to find it because she was running into many things hoping he won't wake up.

She finally opened her eyes and saw his face literally glowing in the dark. He looked like an angel just sleeping. He silver hair sparkled in the dark and Kagome wondered what it felt like. She gently put her hand through his hair and it felt like the fanciest silk. He moved away a little and his hair fell on his face. Kagome turned around to take a deep breath because she thought he would wake up.

She closed her eyes again and couldn't open them again. `I'm tired. I'll close my eyes for a bit and wake up before he sees me here.' Kagome yawned and fell asleep quicker than anyone. She fell asleep right beside him (on the floor by his bed).

“Where could she have gone?” Inuyasha sniffed the air and the ground but couldn't find anything. Shippo, Miroku, and Sango just stared at him.

“Why did that stupid wench go out on her own?” he turned around facing Sango. Sango knew exactly why she was gone.

“Inuyasha maybe you should take a look at yourself and tell me why she left.” Sango said responding to his question. Miroku looked at her.

`Not another argument.' he turned around and told Shippo and Kilala to take a quick rest.

“What are you talking about?” Inuyasha looked confused.

Sango had anger in her eyes and she grabbed her bone boomerang ready to whack him with it. “You know exactly what I'm talking about asshole!”

“That's it I'm getting sick and tired of your ass telling me it's my fault! Let's handle this like true professionals!” Inuyasha pulled out his Tetsusiaga.

“Bring it on dog breath!” Sango put her boomerang in front of herself to avoid the attack.

Inuyasha swung quickly but Sango quickly blocked it and hit him with her sword. He growled and backed up. Sango then took the chance to throw her boomerang at him. Miroku, Shippo, and Kilala were eating fried lizard and watched the fight.

“Inuyasha you have no idea why Kagome left. Think back on that day she disappeared and tell me what you were doing before she disappeared.” Sango caught her boomerang and frowned. “Think about what you did on that day.”

She threw her boomerang again and it was blocked by the Tetsusiaga. She ran towards him yelling, “I'm still a demon hunter Inuyasha and I know all your moves since we fight together! I can smell demons just as you demons smell us! Don't sit here and tell me you forgot!”

She attacked him after she caught her boomerang and again and used it as a shield. He jumped up in the air about to do his Wind Scar.

Sango prepared herself and stood her ground. He came down yelling, “Bitch let's see how you like my Wind Scar!”

Yellow strikes formed around Sango as she took the blast full on. She was pushed at least twenty feet away as her boomerang protected her. He looked at Sango and gasped as she survived the Wind Scar. Miroku and Shippo were even surprised at her power. Sango stood there for a second and laughed and threw her boomerang at him again.

It hit him in the head because he was still surprised that she wasn't even scratched. He fell to the ground and Sango walked over to him scowling.

“You stupid half breed! I told you to think back on that day she disappeared.” Sango said still scowling.

Inuyasha closed his eyes and thought back to that day. `We were walking then I saw Kikyo, and then I went to see her.' He gasped and just thought of something. `She must have seen us.'

Sango's scowl was still on her face. “You see you stupid half breed! It's your fault this time she disappeared.” Miroku, Shippo, and Kilala came back next to Sango and looked at Inuyasha getting up.

“Why did she disappear?” Miroku asked.

Sango looked at Inuyasha in more anger than before. “THIS BITCH RIGHT HERE WAS FUCKING KIKYO RIGHT IN FRONT OF KAGOME'S EYES! THEN HE GOT THE NERVE TO COME BACK SMELLING LIKE THAT DEAD CLAY POT BITCH!”

Shippo frowned. “You mean to tell me that Kagome saw him with Kikyo again?”

Miroku nodded. “We have no idea where she is at all either.”

Sango picked up Kilala and said, “Kilala does she's the one that took Kagome to where ever she is.”

Inuyasha looked at Shippo. “Interpret you brat.”

Shippo stuck his tongue out at him and turned back to Kilala.

“Kilala do you know where Kagome is?”

Kilala growled five times to Shippo. Shippo backed up and said, “What?” Shippo was as big as a seven year old boy and he knew many languages.

“What Kilala say Shippo?” Miroku scratched his head.

Shippo looked up at him. “Wait I didn't finish?”

“Kilala exactly what are you talking about?”

Everyone looked at Kilala as she did as twice as many growls and meows.

Shippo shook his head. “This is not good. Not good at all.”

Inuyasha grabbed Shippo by his shirt and asked, “What did the stupid cat say?”

Sango hit him with her boomerang and he dropped Shippo. Shippo put his shirt down and said, “You won't like it but Kagome's with…with Sesshoumaru. Kilala said she was real angry and went to him because Inuyasha was a jerk.”

Sango and Miroku saw Inuyasha put the Tetsusiaga back in its sheath and clench his fists.

Inuyasha looked up. “That bastard better not hurt her!”

Sango looked at him as though he was crazy and said, “Inuyasha I don't think you noticed but you hurt her all the time. Besides we've been traveling nonstop I think it's time to rest.”
