sesshomaru's fluff is mine: True, that power to the rosary does make certain sense, and the down scene funny. Anyway, I'm afraid I'll be disappointing you here because the two are not in this chapter nor Jaken and Rin. Heck, I don't even know if they're gonna be here at all, but there's gonna be a vote.

Reversed Ch 3: Approaching Battle

Kagome and Sesshoumaru traversed through a dimension filled with images of exotic places then meticulously arrived before Yue and his sister.

"Gee, why didn't you tell me you could do that? It would have taken less time to get home. Oh, and, um, is it ok if I visit home once a week just to let them know I'm alright?" inquired Kagome happily.

Sesshoumaru gave a quick thought then agreed, knowing the consequences for refusing her as flashes of his face disgracefully eating dirt appeared within his mind when he thought to disagree.

"Come, we will continue our journey," stated the taiyoukai.

"Hold on Sesshoumaru. Quit rushing things, I have something to give you guys," intercepted Kagome as she handed out the food items.

They all received a bag of chips and a can of soda.

"My mom made me bring them. Sorry, if it seems cheap," said Kagome.

"Not at all, but Kagome, what are they?" questioned Yuki.

She giggled then proceeded to answer her mentor's question. "It is food, well, not good food, but its good. Here, I'll open them for you," offered the girl.

Soon Yue's and Yuki's share of junk food were opened. All that was left is Sesshoumaru's, who seemed to refuse Kagome's help, tucking the soda and chip within his wide sleeve before walking towards the direction of his half brother.

`She is a creature to be curious of.'

Kagome `hmph' at the Western Prince then followed his lead towards his half brother with two elemental demons trailing behind her, munching on a bag of sour cream and onion chip.

As soon as the group entered the Western mountain range, they felt demon eyes trained upon their backs and cautioned their steps. True to their instincts, dozens of wolf demon launched after them.

Sesshoumaru smirked as he motioned for Yue to take care of the demons while he and Yuki stayed behind to ward off the wolves that sought to devour Kagome.

Yue gladly accepted the job. A metal sword hilt studded with a single red jewel in the middle and filled with strange carvings formed within his palm out of thin air. He took hold of what seemed to be his weapon as fire out of no where attached itself to the sword hilt and mold into the shape of a katana.

Soon, the wolves surrounding Yue were decapitated within range of his fire sword from his superior swordsmanship.

A whip hilt with the same carvings and jewel as Yue's sword hilt appeared in Yuki's hand except the gem was pale blue instead of red. In seconds, flexible ice formed into a whip that connected to Yuki's hilt. She maneuvered her deadly ice weapon smoothly and gracefully as each target she hit froze into ice.

Sesshoumaru, trusting Yuki in protecting Kagome, joined the battle, not being able to resist the blood lust and excitement coursing through his veins after fifty years of restraint from battle. Wolf youkai all around him dissolved into nothingness with a slight touch of his poison claws, releasing a rotten smell, causing the dog demon to close off his sense of smell.

As the three demons were enjoying themselves from the battle, a mysterious character with utmost speed raced to capture the frightened Kagome. He silenced her with his hand over her mouth as he took her to a deserted place, pinning her to a single tree.

"W…what do you want from me?" asked Kagome, as soon as the kidnapper released his hand, fear lacing her voice, and completely forgetting about her steel fan.

The man, who contained clear blue eyes and long brown hair up in a high pony tail dressed in fur with a fluffy brown tail, ignored her question.

"You're a beautiful one aren't you? I think I'll make you my mate even if you're human," he said in a low persuading hush.

Kagome was now confused and frightened as the youkai cupped her face in one hand. She closed her eyes tight and held her hand in front of her in a futile attempt to keep the now advancing man away. The man jumped liked a fearful kangaroo as he felt a burning sensation within his chest after a flash of pink light.

Kagome opened her eyes when she heard the youkai growl painfully then screamed at the sight of the bloody chest.

The demon threesome was still busily parrying all the wolf demons that seem to mysteriously replenish themselves after they were slain to notice the absence of Kagome. That is until the crescent jewel around Sesshoumaru's neck began to glow a bright yellow, and detach itself from the necklace. It floated and seemed to be moving into the direction of the missing Kagome.

Sesshoumaru noticed the strange reaction of the jewel and decided to follow it, but not before giving the order to stay and fight to his two elemental demon friends.

By the time he arrived he found the jewel erecting a barrier around a curled up Kagome. He examined the environment to find a humanoid wolf youkai unconsciously lying on the lush green grass with a terrible burn mark on his chest.

`Interesting, the burnt mark on this pitiful wolf demon is no ordinary wound. It was made by a miko's purification energy. Could it be that wench who did this, and why is the Crescent Jewel protecting her? Could she be the protector of my family heirloom? Hn, she grows more intriguing by the day.'

As Sesshoumaru abruptly ended his train of thought, he strode over to Kagome and gently coaxed her to calm down in order for the Crescent Jewel to withdraw the barrier. Once the shield returned to the powerful jewel, which is now in the demon's hand, the taiyoukai demanded Kagome to stand up and follow him back to where his two companions reside.

While walking back towards Yue and Yuki, Sesshoumaru's thoughts flared within is mind once again.

`There is no mistake, this wench is a miko and judging by the burnt mark on the ookami, she is both untrained and powerful. A living bomb, she is. No matter, I will simply have to fix that problem. Yet, another problem rises. Why was the Crescent protecting her?'

Before Sesshoumaru could think of an answer, Kagome and he arrived at the battle ground just in time to see Yue cut through the last pack of wolves with such graceful movements that it did not seem to be sword movements at all, but rather a dance. After the pests were dispersed, the sword within Yue's hand disappeared to some place. Then the two trained their eyes upon Yuki to see how she fared with her portion of the wolves.

Many ice figures now surround the beautiful and jovial demoness as the last few attempts executed on her turned into ice. She smirked when she figured that her work was done then proceeded to let the whip in her hands vanish.

Kagome's jaws were touching the ground at the sight, but Sesshoumaru only nodded in approval before signaling everyone to continue their journey.

Continuing a few steps more, Sesshoumaru concentrated his mental power to form a mental link with Yue.

`Yue, I want you to train the human wench in manipulating energy.'

The elemental youkai put on a quizzical look, but quickly suppressed it before replying. `Why must I? I do not believe she is a miko.'

`Then you are poorly mistaken. She is a miko and an untrained one. That girl is a hazard if not trained properly.'

`Hn, you bring trouble as always.'

`You will do well to shut your mouth. You will train her as I said'

`Why not ask Yuki'

`You know well why Yuki will not train her. Your skill in manipulating energy far surpasses hers.'

`Then I will do as you bid.'

IYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI

"Kagome, you are to train with Yue to control your miko powers starting tomorrow," stated Sesshoumaru bluntly during dinner in a certain clearing.

The unknown miko looked up from her soup in surprise after the words left the dog demon's mouth.

"Um…I'm not a miko so why would I need miko training."

Sesshoumaru quirked an eyebrow, "Are you questioning my judgment? I have seen what you have done to the ookami and it is indeed purification energy; thus, making you a miko."

What the demon prince said left no room for Kagome to argue back, leaving the poor girl to nod in agreement.

The next day Yue had Sesshoumaru form his silver cloud for Kagome to sit on.

"First, you must meditate to calm your mind and have control. That is what you will do today."

"Hai."

"Clear your mind of thoughts. Then concentrate on finding your power. It should be a speck of light."

Kagome did what she was told and surprisingly enough, she saw a speck of pink light.

"I found it," cried the happy girl.

"Good, now move closer towards it and mold it into a shape of your will."

Within her mind, Kagome slowly approached her new found power. Gingerly, with an invisible hand, the speck soon evolved into an arrow.

"Now draw it out. Little by little, like unrolling thread."

Hearing Yue's words, Kagome carefully reached for the arrow's feather end and pulled. A strand of pink appeared within her fingers. She continued to extract her power from the container until it was the size of her palm.

"When you have pulled enough, concentrate and send it to your hand."

The young miko did as told, but the energy she had drawn did not make it to its destination.

"It didn't work Yue-san."

The elemental demon sighed before he continued.

"That is to be expected. This is your first time reaching for your energy. Your mind cannot sustain the stress for it to reach any part of your limbs yet. With practice, you will soon be able to perform the stressful feat. Now rest. You have an hour before your lessons with Yuki starts," stated Yue coolly.

Kagome nodded positively then thanked Sesshoumaru for the floating device as it vanished. She next went over all that was learned from the past week of steel fan training mentally for today was to be an oral test on the theory of the convenient weapon.

Kagome passed the test with fairly well marks. Another week had passed since. During those seven days, she had begun to spar with Yuki during their travels thanks to Sesshoumaru's cloud, dismissing the afternoon and evening fights, and making lunch time shorter.

Today was the end of the second week of her journey and was time to go back home for fresh garments and a badly needed bath.

Sesshoumaru teleported her to the well then let Kagome jump in. What happened afterwards stunned the two. The usual pink light was no where to be seen and Kagome was no where near the year 2004, puzzling both demon and human. Then suddenly the Crescent Jewel around the dog demon's neck shined a bright yellow and once again detached itself from its chains, landing in Kagome's hands.

"What does this mean?" asked Kagome.

"I do not know. The jewel has many powers. Perhaps it is telling you that you need it in order to return to your time period," explained Sesshoumaru.

Thinking of no other way, Kagome did as Sesshoumaru told, and surprisingly, it worked as the familiar light appeared.

`She is the protector of the Crescent Jewel no doubt. Yet there has not been one for many centuries. Her being here only shows that something significant is happening, and needs her to full fill the jewel's wishes. What is the turn of event?'

IYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYIYI

"My lord, they are moving closer and closer towards you. What will you do about them?"

"Keh, I'll stop them before they arrive," stated the lord, flexing his claws to emphasize his point, "but first, I wanna know their strength. Eritri, tail them and report to me every night."

"Hai, my lord," and the ninja known as Eritri vanished within the shadow's concealing fingers.

AN: Hm…something seems to be missing, but what? -Looks up- you guys mind telling me? Anyway, the next chapter's name is bellow and maybe a preview too. By the way, for the next chapter I want from 24-36 reviews. I may sound mean but I'm desperate.

Reversed Ch 4: Night of the Crescent

Kagome slowly approached the cold prince as his silvery hair billowed under the moon's shine and the well built body glimmering from the crescent moon, entrancing the girl.

`I…never known him to be so beautiful.'

Millenniums seemed to have passed as the miko finally sat beside Sesshoumaru, sharing the cool breeze. Her hair danced under the wind's guidance as she began her first words to her future love.
