“Hey Kagome.”
Rin called out cheerfully as she entered the first period class. She perched atop her desk in order to see over the other students that filed in around Kagome.

Kagome moved towards her seat and slung her bag over the back of it. Flopping down into her seat she sighed in exasperation.
“Hi Rin.”

“Uh-oh. I know that sound. Did Inuyasha catch you at your locker again?”

“No, it was at the front gate.”

“Well, at least he's changing it up a bit.”

“Say Rin can't you do something about him? I don't know if I can take much more of this. It's been the same question day in day out for the last six weeks.”

“Believe me when I say, I've tried, but that guy is just so persistent.”

“Yea I know that is the truth.”
Kagome sat and thought about the first time she officially met Inuyasha and the first time he asked the question. Rin had greeted her in almost the same manner that day at the front doors of the school.

~~~~~~ Flashback ~~~~~~~
“Hey Kagome!”
Rin called out over her friends her friend's shoulders as she waived her arm frantically in the air to get Kagome's attention over the crowds of students walking around. She sat on the raised side of the entry steps in order to scan for the face she was looking for.
Kagome turned her head from left to right looking for somebody around her who was waiving back just as enthusiastically. When she didn't see anybody she pulled her bag up a little higher on her shoulder and walked towards Rin and her friends.
“Um… hi Rin.”
“Hey. You left out of class so quickly yesterday I didn't get a chance to give you this. Call me we should hang out sometime.”
“O-okay.”
Kagome took the piece of folded paper from her extended hand.
“So how was your first day?”
“It was okay.”
“Wow Kagome don't sound so enthusiastic about it. Well any ways, I want you to meet a few friends of mine.”
Rin motioned to the young woman standing next to her with the long ponytail brushing against the small of her back.
“This is …”
“…Sango. I know we have drama together.”
“Hey Kagome.”
“Hi.”
“Alight well you two already know each other so on with the introductions.”
Rin slid from her perch and sauntered down the steps and draped her arm over a young man with who seemed to glow at the contact.
“The handsome looker right here is…”
“… Miroku.”
“Ready for video technology today Kagome?”
“Just as long as you are as well behaved as yesterday, then yes.”
“Keh, that's funny. The fucking lecher managed to be well behaved. That is a sight I would have paid to see.”
A gravely voice sounded from over Kagome's shoulder.
“And the rude ass behind you Kagome is Inuyasha and considering I have second, third, and sixth period with him I'm going to assume that you don't know him.”
Rin huffed crossing her arms over her chest.
Kagome turned to greet the person to arrive after her. She gasped the moment her cerulean irises clashed with gold.
“You're the guy from yesterday.”
“You're the girl from yesterday.”
“You mean to tell me that you two already know each other.”
“We met briefly for a moment yesterday.”
Kagome turned her head slightly to shadow the stain on her cheeks.
“Now that I know your first name I can tell you this freely. I want you.”
“I beg your pardon!”
“I've watched the way you moved and I have a dire need for the talent your body possesses. It's purely physical.”
“E-excuse me?”
Kagome stepped backwards up the stairs slowly.
“Wow, and you guys call me a lecher. I don't compare to that.”
Miroku smirked.
“Shut up Miroku.”
Sango snapped.
“Come on now don't misunderstand. I saw you yesterday in the dance room and I really think you are talented. I want you to dance for me. Well not me personally but for my crew.”
Kagome stopped dead in her tracks. Clenching her hands around the strap of her bag Kagome bit her lower lip. Her bangs shadowed her eyes and she visibly shook. Suddenly her head jerked up and an almost painful smile graced her face.
“You know Inuyasha I'm not really sure I know what you are talking about. But, hey I have to get going. I don't want to be late for class it being only the second day and all.”
Quickly Kagome disappeared into the school building.
~~~ The next day~~

Kagome walked out of the cafeteria line with her tray in hand. She scanned the tables around her looking for her classmate with the bubbly personality. Rin had stopped her after first period this morning to ask her to sit together at lunch. Unwilling to see the same disappointed look on her face after yesterday's refusal Kagome agreed to dine with her. Looking to the left she didn't see the figure coming up on the right. A startled gasp escaped her mouth when her tray was lifted from her hands. She turned to face Inuyasha.

“Come on Kagome. I'll take you to the table.”

“O-Okay, thanks.”

Kagome follow Inuyasha through the hoards of students to a table on the far right side of the cafeteria. Sango and Rin greeted her as she sat and Inuyasha placed a try in front of her. She thanked him as he took his own seat.
“Thanks Inuyasha.”

“No problem. We're all friends and we do favors for each other. Speaking of… since I did you the favor of carrying your tray to the table you can do me the favor of dancing with my crew.”

Kagome clenched the fork from her tray in her hand and furrowed her brow.
“How about I do you the favor of telling you that your better bet is to just drop the subject?”

“That would work but I'm already determined to have you on my crew.”

“What in the world makes you think I would say yes to you?”

“Because, I can be very persuasive and persistent. I won't stop asking until you join my crew.”

“That is called being hardheaded Inuyasha not persistence.”
Sango stated nonchalantly.

“Whatever it is called I don't give up.”

“Suit yourself Inuyasha but the answer will always be no.”
Kagome said chewing around the piece of fruit pressed against the inside of her cheek.

“We'll see.”

~~~ Two days later ~~~
Kagome pulled placed the heavy math book into her locker and winced as it thudded hollowly against the shelf.
“Well isn't that the perfect sound for a bunch of useless information.”
Sighing she closed her locker and nearly screamed at the sight of Inuyasha leaning against the locker next to hers. Casually he reached over spun the dial on her locker sufficiently locking it.
“So Kagome, you've had a few days to think it over. What do you say to join my crew?”
“I say no.”
Kagome sauntered past him in the direction of her class.
Inuyasha watched her go and called after her.
“You can't say `no' forever.”
“Watch me.”
~~~ Four weeks later ~~~

“Kagome what are you doing?”
Sango questioned as Kagome poked her head out of the theatre door and looking frantically in both directions.

“Trying to avoid my stalker.”

“You have a stalker? Do you know who he is?”

“Yeah he is some idiot who keeps asking me to join his crew.”

“Oh you must mean me.”
Inuyasha said from behind Kagome.

“Gaah!”
Kagome leapt through the stage door and spun quickly to face her annoyance.
“What the hell are you doing here?”

“Well I do go to school here, but if you are talking about here in your class you know why I am here.”

“Oh hell not again.”

“Please?”

“No.”
Kagome gritted her teeth and stomped off.

~~~ One week later ~~~
Kagome lightly hopped down the school steps her bag bouncing against her hip. She stumbled and landed on her butt at the bottom of the stairs when a familiar silver framed face came into view. Begrudgingly she accepted the hand he extended to her.
“Please?”
“No.”
Kagome brushed past him.
~~~ The next day ~~~

Kagome flopped down at the computer next to a familiar pair of legs sticking out from under the desk. Rolling her eyes she questioned his reason for being under the table.
“Accidentally unplug your keyboard again Miroku?”

“No.”
An unexpected voice answered back. Inuyasha poked his head out from under the desk and smiled at her.

“Shit.”

“Language Kagome, tisk, tisk. Please?”

“No.”

~~~ Present day ~~~
“Bye sweetheart.”
“Bye mom. See you later.”
Kagome watched her mom drive away before heading to the entrance gates of the school. The moment she passed the entry way a warm palm wrapped firmly around her wrist and pulled her to the side.
Inuyasha smile broadly and wiggled his dark brows at her. In the distance the first bell of the morning sounded.
“Morning, Kagome. Please?”
“Jeeze, seriously Inuyasha are you ever going to give up?”
“Not anytime soon. Please?”
“No. Hurry up and get to class. That was the first warning bell, don't be late.
“Yes, mother. Please?”
“No.”
~~~~~~ End Flashback~~~~~~~

“Hey Kagome, have you ever thought about seeing what Inuyasha wants and then deciding?”
Rin whispered as the teacher scribbled across the white board.

“What do you mean?”

“Well just see what he wants, think about what he is offering, and then make your decision. You can tell him that if he bothers you while you are thinking that he can never bring up the subject of the crew around you ever again. That way you gain a few days without being bothered.”

“You know that idea just might work. From the pattern he has shown this week I have until lunch to think about it. Thanks.”

“No problem.”

“Ms. Higurashi, do you and Ms. Miushi have something you would like to share with the class?”

“Um, no sir, Mr. Takami.”

“Very good then. Please pay attention.”

“Yes, sir.”

Please enjoy and thank you for your reviews they really help. And if you would like to see some certain scenarios in my stories pitch me some ideas and I will try my best to work them in. Enjoy!
