Chapter 29 Reveal

When Inuyasha finally reached the door, Shippo jumped down, grabbed the door knob and opened the door before Inuyasha could even reach for it. Shippo ran and jumped onto the bed and into Kagome’s arms.

“Hey there Shippo!” Kagome said cheerfully.

“Are you feeling better now?” Shippo asked.

“I’m feeling a little better but not my best.” She told him. She began to fix his hair by petting it down and attempting to flatten it out. Inuyasha joined them on the bed and Inuyasha took one of Kagome’s hands. “Shippo, your father and I,” Kagome started but paused when she called Inuyasha his father. Inuyasha liked being called a father. “We have something important that we were wanting to talk to you about.” She finished. Shippo nodded.

“You’re getting older now and I think that you should start training with me.” Inuyasha told him. Kagome looked at Inuyasha a little confused but she knew that this was a way for him to bond with Shippo, so she let him continue. “You’ll need to be able to protect the family if anything happens to me.” He said. Shippo thought about what he said.

“Don’t you mean protect mommy if anything happens to you?” He said.

“No. I mean the family.” Inuyasha corrected him. Shippo again thought about what he said and after a moment, his eyes lit up. He turned to Kagome and put an ear to her stomach.

“You’re pregnant mommy?!” He exclaimed.

“I am sweetie, but you’re not gonna be able to hear the baby quite yet.” She told him. Shippo nodded and jumped up for a hug.

“Will I have a brother or a sister?” He asked them.

“We won’t know until the baby is born.” Inuyasha told him. Shippo put a sad look on his face.

“What’s the matter?” Kagome asked.

“How will we know what to name it if we don’t know what it is till it’s born?” Shippo pouted.

“We can decide on a name before we know.” Kagome laughed. She thought it was cute how he thought they wouldn’t know a name till the baby was born. His eyes lit up again.

“Really?!” He cheered. “Yay! I can’t wait to name it! Well, him or her.” He corrected himself.

“I meant what I said about you training with me though.” Inuyasha told him.

“I’ll do it! I will! I’ll work hard and I’ll protect them with all I have!” Shippo told him. He clinched his fist and held it up in determination. “You can count on me daddy!” Inuyasha’s heart caught in his throat when he called him daddy. He pulled the fox into a short but meaningful hug and put a hand on his shoulder.

“We will start when your mother is feeling better.” Inuyasha told him. Shippo nodded. “Will you tell the cook to prepare another meal like I instructed this morning for me little guy? Oh and tell them to make it for two.” Inuyasha asked the child.

“Sure! Can I go play with the other kids when I’m done?” He asked.

“Yeah, sure. Make sure you eat for dinner if it’s ready though. We won’t be eating downstairs today.” Inuyasha told him. “Now, give your mom a hug and go to the kitchen.” Shippo hugged Kagome and then hugged Inuyasha. He ran off out the door in a flash. “Oh yeah! Shippo don’t tell anyone yet!” Inuyasha yelled after him.

“I won’t!” He yelled back.

Inuyasha shook his head. ‘Everyone will know before the end of the day.’ He thought with a sigh. Kagome giggle and put her arm around Inuyasha’s shoulders and laid her head on them.

“It will be okay. They’ll find out eventually anyways.” She giggled.

“Yeah, but I was kind of hoping we would be the ones to tell everyone.” He sighed again. Kagome lifted her head from his shoulder and looked at him with soft eyes. She was surprised that he wanted to tell everyone. She thought he might want to keep it a secret as long as possible. Her heart fluttered with the thought that he was so proud that he wanted everyone know. She hugged him tighter and snuggled into his chest.

Inuyasha didn’t know what her sudden show of affection was about but he didn’t care either. He wrapped his arms around her and placed his nose in her hair. When she released him, he looked her in the eyes and held her hands.

“Kagome, I will do my best to protect you and our family. I don’t know what I would do without you.” Inuyasha told her.

“I know you will Inuyasha. I trust you and I know you will be a great father.” She said. Inuyasha leaned and kissed her lips. He cupped her cheek in his hand. He wrapped his other hand around her waist. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck and lightly moaned into their kisses. They parted for air. Their breathing was heavy but they relaxed and slowed their breaths.

A knock came to the door made Inuyasha reluctantly got up and retrieved the two plates of food from the servant at the door. He dismissed the servant and returned to the bed. Kagome’s stomach growled as soon as she smelt the food. This time it was barbeque ribs with steamed veggies on the side. Inuyasha put the plate in front of her. Kagome again scarfed down the meal and Inuyasha did the same. He had gotten hungry since that morning.

Kagome finished and whipped her face and hands with a cloth the servant put on the tray. She saw Inuyasha had barbeque sauce all over his face and she giggled as she whipped the cloth over his lips. He smiled at her and she handed him the towel. He cleaned the sauce from his hands and kissed Kagome’s cheek. She still blushed lightly when he did this. He took the plates and sat them outside the door for the servant to pick up.

He shut the door and turned to Kagome. Kagome had a seductive look in her eyes and Inuyasha grinned because he know what was about to happen. She silently called him to her with one finger. He was lying beside her in only moments. She giggled and leaned over, gently kissing his mouth. He kissed back but she pulled away before he could kiss her again.

“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked him. Inuyasha raised his eyebrow.

“Me?” He replied. He flipped her onto her back and was directly over her. Kagome’s breath caught in her throat. “I want to pleasure you.” He said with a grin crossing his lips.

“Inuyasha.” She started to protest.

“You’re going to be the mother of my child. At least let me make you happy for one night.” He said, stopping her. Kagome placed her hand behind his head and lifted herself so she was inches from his face.

“You’re going to make me happy every night for the rest of our lives.” Kagome whispered. Her breath fanned over his mouth. He closed their distance and kissed her. He kissed her with all the passion in his heart.

Kagome tangled her fingers in his hair and clutched it in her fist gently. Inuyasha growled in enjoyment. He slid his hand down her side to her hip. “Inuyasha,” Kagome moaned. “Take me.” Kagome breathe. Inuyasha kissed Kagome’s mark. His mark tingled as well. Kagome moaned again from the new sensation coursing through her body.

Inuyasha kissed her neck more fiercely. He nipped her skin and licked the fake wounds. His fingers pushed the clothing covering her shoulders out of the way of his kisses. Kagome arched her back, pressing her chest into his body. With his mouth on her neck, the movement made her breasts dangerously close to his face. A rumble escaped his throat as he used his razor sharp claws to shred the nightgown that covered her curves.

A small whimper from his mate made his lips return to her lips. Their pace slowed. Cherishing the moment as they caressed each other’s skin lovingly. Kagome pulled back lightly and gazed into the molten eyes she fell in love with. She placed her tender hand on his strong jaw bone and he gently pressed into her touch. She smiled.

He looked at her with so much love and tenderness that she never would have known. She couldn’t deny that she loved this man more than anything in the world. She wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. There would never be anyone else that could possibly replace him. She pressed her lips back to his and jolts shot through her whole body. She gasped into his mouth as she kissed him more intensely.

He felt it too. It was like his skin was even more sensitive to every touch from hers. The jolts of pleasure never ceasing as their lips and fingertips explored the new sensations they felt. It seemed like their clothing just disappeared as neither of them remembered how they came off.

Inuyasha positioned himself at her entrance, never letting her lips leave his, and gently pushed his way inside. Neither of them could breathe when they felt the other as the ecstasy intensified further. Each thrust sending endless pleasure to both the young lovers.

This time was different than other times. As he grinded into her hips, Kagome looked up at his face. His purple markings had appeared and the white of his eyes turned red. But his pupils were still golden and soft. Usually his features craved the lust they shared. But he was fully himself.

He closed his eyes and rested his head on her shoulder. His nose buried in the nape of her neck, filling his sensitive nostrils with her scent. Kagome whimpered as she embraced his head and pressed her lips into the top of his head, next to his ear. She rocked back and forth into his grinding, double timing their pace without either of them working any harder. Both of their eyes rolled to the back of their heads. Their breathing became harsher as they reached their peaks together.

“I love you, Inuyasha.” Kagome whispered breathlessly into his soft ear. He purred as he released inside her womb once again. He sat up after catching his breath and kissed her lips.

“I love you too, Kagome.” He whispered in response. He rolled off of her as he pulled her into his chest. Needless to say, it was very easy for the couple to drift off to sleep that night.

Rin took a deep breath as she approached her bedroom door. Sesshomaru was waiting for her there. They barely left her room at all day. She only left for the bathroom in Sesshomaru’s room next door like she just did. And he had servants bring them food when they got hungry. She wasn’t sure what had gotten into him. Not that she really cared. He was being extremely affectionate towards her. So she couldn’t say she was complaining.

She turned the doorknob and re-entered her bedroom and softly shut the door behind her. She turned around and found Sesshomaru on his back on her bed with both his arms behind his head. With his arms raised, this allowed the sleeves of his traditional kimono to slide down past his elbows, exposing the very strong muscles of his biceps. She couldn’t help the whimper that escaped her from seeing his masculine body relaxing on her bed.

Though he had been very affectionate, he hardly allowed her to explore his body or himself to explore hers. He told her it might make him lose his control. She yearned to touch his strong arms, his strong chest, his strong abs. She had to stop her thoughts as she began to think of unseen places she wanted to explore.

He heard her soft whimper and leapt out of his spot on the bed and rushed to her. He was in front of her in less than a second. Rin’s breath caught in her throat and a blush covered her cheeks. Sesshomaru had a worried look in his eyes as he looked her over for any injuries that would make her whimper in pain. She almost wanted to giggle watching him check her up and down.

"I'm not hurt Sesshy." She said softly. He looked at her in slight confusion which quickly turned to amusement once he realized what she whimpered about.

"I see." He said with a grin. She blushed again.

He swiftly lifted her off her feet and laid her gently on the bed. She squeaked in surprise when she was lifted into his arms. Even more when he laid her on the bed, without joining her. She watched as he straightened up from sitting her down. His grin never leaving his lips. His hands rose to the collar of his kimono. She sat up into the sitting position but her eyes were glued to him.

Sesshomaru slowly slid the fabric off his shoulders. Rin's eyes widened and a new bright red blush covering most of her face. She couldn’t help it. His body was so muscular and beautiful. His eyes were soft and warm with amber lava. His long, silver hair silky and shiny as it flowed like a waterfall down his muscular back.

Sesshomaru removed his shirt and let it drop to the ground. Rin was basically drooling now and he couldn't stop his urges to laugh at her. He took a step forward and he heard Rin's heart rate accelerate. Why she was getting all worked up? And in turn, getting him worked up? His face became serious for the first time since he started joking with her.

"Rin." He tried to say sternly, but, oddly to him, it came out wavering. When had he lost is speech? He realized then, that his throat was dry and his own heart racing. The realization of his body's status made him want to crumble. He had no control when it came to Rin.

"Ses-Sesshomaru." She whimpered like she did when she entered. A whiff of her arousal struck his nostrils simultaneously with the sound of her speaking his name hitting his ears. His hand rose towards her, but he quickly dug his other clawed hand into his own skin.

Rin saw this and yelped in surprise. She looked to his face for answers but only saw his fangs bore and jaw clinched with only growls escaping his teeth. She could see the red beginning to flash in his eyes and it startled her. She jumped to her feet. He was already only a foot from the bed where she just sat. His flashing eyes flew to her now.

"Rin! You have to... Get away! I... Don't want to... Hurt you!" He told her through his clinched fangs. Rin felt the tear swelling up in her eyes.

"I won't leave you Sesshomaru." She whispered. She took a step forward and he took a hesitant step back. Rin raised her hands in surrender to him. She took another step and he stayed planted where he stood. One more step and she was in reach of his arms, one with the fresh wound. She gently touched the skin of his bleeding forearm with her delicate fingertips.

Sesshomaru immediately silenced his growls as her touch completely extinguished the feeling of lost control in his body. It felt like a cool water sprayed over his fiery struggle to stay contained. Her touch gave him the comfort he needed and gave him the strength to stay himself.

Rin slowly slid her fingers up from his wrist to the claws that were dug into his own flesh. Sesshomaru retracted his claws but still gripped his arm. Rin placed her hand over his and lifted her other hand to his cheek. His features softened with her touch.

“I’ll always be by your side.” She said, a lone tear falling over her lid. Sesshomaru released his arms and pulled Rin into his chest. She hugged herself tight to him. “Don’t hurt yourself because of me. I can’t take it.” She finally said. She looked up at him with drying tears still staining her eyes and cheeks. Sesshomaru looked into her deep brown eyes with his returned amber ones.

“I’m sorry.” He told her. She could see the sincerity in his eyes and smiled to lighten the gloom in the room.

“How about I wrap up your arm?” She asked lightly. He couldn’t stop the smile that she contagiously gave him. He nodded. Rin quickly ran over to her dresser and dug through her belongings to find her first aid kit.

While she rushed around, Sesshomaru turned and plopped down on the bed. He examined the wound and decided it wasn’t that deep and, therefore, wasn’t very bad. He brought his forearm up to his lips and lapped at the bleeding flesh. Rin found the lost kit and turned in triumph to see Sesshomaru licking his arm.

“What are you doing?” She exclaimed, hurrying to his side on the bed. He stopped and looked at her. She grabbed his arm gently and began to wipe it with some clean gauze. “You could get an infection like that.” She continued.

“My saliva will heal it faster.” He said, still not pulling away from her. As long as she was touching him, he could care less about his minor injury.

“Really? Should I let you do that instead?” She asked, briefly stopping. He shook his head.

“No. I did enough that it will be healed by morning.” He replied. Rin smiled with relief.

“I’m glad.” She told him, continuing wiping then proceeding to wrap it lightly. It already stopped bleeding so there was no need to put thick bandages on it.

While she wrapped, Sesshomaru leaned into her slightly and buried his nose in her hair. Rin grinned, leaning back into him. When she finished, she released his arm from her lap. He pulled back and thanked her with a peck on her lips. He then lifted her further onto the bed and laid her head on her pillows. He swung his legs to lie next to her.

“It’s late. You need your rest.” He said, gently pulling her into his chest protectively. She snuggled into his bare chest contently. “We’ll get the room situation sorted out tomorrow.” She only nodded in response.

“Good night.” She whispered. He kissed the top of her head.

“Sweet dreams, my love.” He said.
