AN: Hey everyone I hope you enjoying the story so far. I know I'm enjoying writing it but I could use some help I'm having a hard time finding a mate for Rin so if you have any suggestions let me know I should be updating nearly every week depending on my school load. You have no idea how much homework is involved in getting a degree in Animation ^.^ but its all good. I would also appreciate it if you would let me know if I'm running a story line close to another you've read I don't want to be accused of plagiarizing someone else's work. Thanks Enjoy

“Alright you three what did you do and how badly is Shessho going to take it?” Kagome asked getting worried

“Yea that's a good question how mad am I going to get?” A deep voice boomed from the hall entry way. The three in Question jumped at the sound of his voice giggling nervously.

~~Now on with the show:

Chapter 3

Standing in the door way of their home Rin, and Shippo looked at their parents their uncle Inu stood there not so sure he wanted to be part of this any more. Sighing Rin looked her beloved father in the eyes, “Let's just say you're not going to be happy papa. Let's go into your office and we'll let you know what's going on its pointless to hide It.” She said moving through her family walking down the hall and into his office. She had purposely chosen this room the walls and glass had been purposely reinforced to take her father's rages and that would help if it hadn't been here they would have had to go to the dojo to suppress him but there are weapons in there so that wouldn't be the wisest choice. She turned hoping up on her fathers desk sitting there waiting for everyone else to get there.

A moment later her mother and father walked in followed by a sullen pair of males her parents took a seat in front of her sitting patiently well her mother was anyway. Shesshomaru was not pleased he didn't like being out of the loop especially when his idiotic brother knew what was going on and he didn't. Inuyasha shut the door behind him making sure it was bolted already wishing he was anywhere but here. He'd been on the wrong end of his brother's rage for too many years to even delude himself thinking that it might not be so bad. He knew how over protective old fluffy was of his baby girl the people in this room would be lucky to leave alive and Inuyasha knew it. Shippo had moved to stand on Rin's right side so he moved to her left being the support she needed right now.

Rin sighed lowering her head in shame as tried to figure out how to say what she needed to. Looking back up stiffening her spine looking at both her parents before focusing on her father. “Daddy I know you expect a lot from me and I promise to work hard to make you proud, but dad I have some news that I'm afraid may lower your opinion of me.” Lowering her eyes unable to look her father in the eyes any longer.

Looking at the two males standing protectively around his princess Shesshomaru wasn't sure he wanted to know anymore he was perfectly content to live completely oblivious to whatever confession she felt the need to make, “Just tell us Rin it's the easiest way.” Kagome said softly noticing how tense her mate was getting. Suddenly Kagome noticed a faint flicker of energy come from Rin Kagome briefly noticed she was lowering her scent shield before Shesshomaru started growling viciously Kagome sniffed the air lightly she may not have Shessho's senses but they were nothing to laugh at either.

Someone had dared touch his princess the lord of the western lands couldn't believe his nose. Not only did they touch her they did so and now she was with pup he was going to kill the stupid male who dared to touch her. His eyes were bleeding red his fangs started extending, as were his claws. “WHO WOULD DARE TOUCH WHAT IS MINE?!?!?!” Shesshomaru roared standing in the middle of his office, Rin was extremely grateful they had reinforced this room. Kagome knew this was going to happen but luckily she noticed that other than the pup they couldn't tell by scent who the father was so he couldn't just go kill him until Rin admitted who it was. Sighing Kagome looked at he ashamed daughter her worried son and her nearly terrified brother in law and knew she would have to help them calm her mate down or there was going to be some serious repercussions.

Rin watched her father pace around the room eyes glowing a blood red while he tried to figure out whom to take his rage out on. She glanced over at her mother only to see understanding and sympathy that just made Rin feel even worse. She knew it was her fault and she wasn't sure what to do to make everything better as she sat there she decided that maybe he would calm down some with out the constant reminder so she closed her eye and concentrated on bringing her shield back up after all she didn't need every demon on the block knowing. When she looked back up she saw her father stalking toward the door determination in his eyes quickly she moved to the door getting there before he could knowing he may end up punishing her for her actions she just hoped it wouldn't harm her cub. She wasn't really sure what she should do now that she was standing in her enraged fathers path looking in those eerie eyes unconsciously her hands moved to cover her stomach in a weak attempt at protection. Seeing what she had done both Inuyasha and Shippo moved quickly flanking her for her protection not really sure what Shesshomaru was capable of doing at the moment. They weren't sure any of them could calm him back down but they didn't want him to go on a rampage and kill every male that had her scent, which at the moment was a real possibility.

Rin refused to be intimidated her day had been bad enough she didn't feel like dealing with her father having a temper tantrum because he couldn't control everyone and everything. “Dad you need to calm down until you do your not leaving this room I promise you will get your answers but not like this.” Kagome knew her daughter was trying but it wasn't going to work there was only two things that made him calm down when in a blood lust rage one was to kill until he didn't feel like it anymore and the other well lets just say she had hoped she wouldn't ever have to do in front of not only her children but her brother in law. Sighing Kagome closed her eyes murmuring under her breath making a few patterns in the air she knew the instant it was working. Unfortunately the only way she had to break his bloodlust was to turn it into just plain old lust hopefully he wouldn't do anything to bad since the kids were in the room. She could not only hear but feel his growl soften and turn into more of a purr as he moved from the door.

He stalked his mate circling around her sniffing the air licking his lips he couldn't refuse his mate any pleasures her body demanded of him and she would get what she demanded plus so much more if he had a say in the matter. He watched as she sat there not moving an inch just waiting for him to come to her. He grinned slightly Hmmm what a cocky bitch I have she knows I'll come to her he crouched low nearly crawling up to her. Still purring loudly his eyes red but not such a deep red they were hazier. As he came closer to his mate she smiled softly at him and reached out to him to run her fingers through his hair as he laid his head on her lap inhaling deeply pushing her thighs apart nuzzling the apex of her thighs trying to get closer but the cloth was in his way he nipped at her through the cloth grinning when her grip on his hair tightened and she let out a nearly inaudible gasp/moan. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew he had to stop they weren't alone but she was just so intoxicating sometimes.

The three standing by the door didn't know what to do. They knew if they made noise while trying to get out his attention would come back to them and that wouldn't be good but there was no way they were going to stand here and watch this. Rin just turned around and worked on not hearing what was going on luckily unlike the two males she couldn't smell anything. The poor boy had smelled when Kagome had made her body smell as if she were in heat to lure Shesshomaru away and it had worked but both males were blushing as they tried to find away to avoid this.

Kagome tried to pull Shessho's hair to get him to come up she was very much aware of who was in the room but he wouldn't move she just hoped they couldn't see exactly what he was doing.

He knew he had to stop but he didn't want to plus it made the three brats squirm they were in for a lot of torture in the next few weeks at least the males were his princess didn't need any stress for a while. Sighing deciding he would finish this later other matters needed to be solved first moving his head up nuzzling his mates stomach she sighed softly running her fingers through his hair softly.

Kagome smiled softly knowing he was trying to annoy the kids but she didn't mind she loved the attention and now she didn't have to worry about him ravishing her in front of them. Moving her head looking toward the three squirming bodies huddled against the door giggling quietly at the blush on the guy's faces. “Alright you three get back over here there are questions that need to be answered before we figure out our next course of action.”

Rin was the first to move jumping back on the desk where she had been before. Smiling sadly as she looked at her parents the great lord of the west sitting on the floor his head leaning against his mates stomach while she played with his hair it was so sweet and part of her wished she could have what they had. (AN: I know I cannot be the only one who would be in heaven if Shessho were sitting at your feet like that) Rin nodded to the boys to come back over to her. “Your right mama I know and I'm so sorry I'm even in this mess but you should know this is my child, my life, and my responsibility and no one not even you are going to take my child from me.”

Shessho looked up at his daughter with respect in his eyes, “Princess look I am not happy that it happened but I'm proud of you for taking care of your responsibilities no one is going to take to pup from you I promise. It may not have a father when I'm through but you will have your child.”

Rin smiled slightly, “Thank you papa I'm so sorry about all of this but you can't kill the father it would start a war between clans.”

“Wait a minute you mean the father is a demon?!?!? How can that be?” He got up and pushing her head side to side examining her neck, while Rin rolled her eyes. “Who is the father Rin?” his eyes started tinting with a red Kagome pulled him back down to her wrapping her tail around him massaging his scalp trying to calm him down. He closed his eyes when he opened them again the red was nearly gone and he was petting his mate's tail trying to stay calm knowing if he got too pissed off Rin wouldn't give him the answers he needed.

Inu watched in amazement at how easily Kagome could calm Shesshomaru's savage beast. He knew they were getting off to easily he had a feeling when this conversation was over the torture would begin he may need to steer clear for a few months.

“Alright Rin, who is the father?” Kagome asked softly still massaging Fluffy's scalp keeping him calm.

“Well you see his name is Ryoga…”

“Why does that name sound so familiar?” Shessho questioned not being able to think all that easily at the moment.

“Wait isn't that Kouga's son?” Kagome asked

Rin just nodded her head not able to look at her parents still embarrassed by the whole situation.

 

AN: That's it for today guys I know I haven't updated as much as I want to but I'm trying to fit it in Sorry about how short this one is. I'll try to make the next one longer sorry bout the cliffy. Hope you enjoyed it.
