Chapter 2

On the other side of town in a house many would call a mansion a woman sat in her personal dojo thinking about her life as she polished her bow. Thinking about how great her life was she had 3 amazing children a loving mate and a beautiful home many woman would be jealous of her life and many were she had managed to mate with one of the most powerful demons not only physically but in the business world as well not only had she don't it but she had don't it with out using tricks to gain his attention she just happened to be an old friend of the family and they were soul mates there was no denying it. She loved her mate dearly and would sacrifice anything she had and everything she was to keep him safe him and their children the only thing she could think of the make her life any better would be her two oldest to find their mates and start their own family Shippo was plenty old enough by human standards to pick his mate but according to her husband why would he want to tie himself down now when he had such a long life span needless to say that started an argument between them but she had to agree with their life span there was no hurry to find their mate since most likely he would mate with a demon it wasn't like she was going to die of old age on him. Luckily for her mate her miko blood fused with his when they mated so now she wasn't full demon but she was as close as she could get. Smiling petting her tail loving the attention it got her when it first appeared. Grinning remembering that first week vividly Shessy couldn't keep his hands to himself he kept muttering about sly women and something about the sway of my tail I have no idea what he was talking about it took me like two weeks to figure out how to control it. Blushing slightly she couldn't help but wonder why Rin didn't take on more demon traits because she was a miko too and not just because of the blood merger Rin just wasn't as strong in her abilities. That's ok she got something from it now she has more time to find her soul mate maybe not as long as Shippo but she's only 17 who needs a soul mate at that age? In a few years she would have her mate. Of course if Shessy had his was no one would ever touch his little girl luckily for everyone he didn't know someone already had. Rin doesn't know it but I know she's been with someone it must have been a month or so ago I know she's not mated no newly mated couple could stay apart that much so It must have been a human odd though she never showed any interest in humans as anything more than friends we all assumed she would have a demon mate. What bothers me is the fact she's changed since that day. Standing up grabbing her quiver slinging it over her shoulder moving to her practice arena taking stance and letting her first arrow go still lost in thought about her only daughter. I wish she would come and talk to me about it I don't want to push her and she close up on me but it would do her some good to talk about it I know it would. Pulling another arrow back looking at the tight knot crescent moon she made out of arrows her nose twitching and ears flicking slightly grinning turning quickly letting loose her arrow as she went nearly giggling as her `husband' looked mildly surprised, though most wouldn't see the difference in his look, as the arrow lodged its self not a hairs breath from his right ear. “Well, Well I always thought you were so quiet. I can't help but think your loosing your touch love not only could I hear you coming I could sniff you out,” she said grinning

In a flash he moved so quickly and quietly Kagome could barely tell him moved at all he was behind her, her quiver was on the floor and he had his hands on her hips pulling her flush against him out of habit her tail wound around his waist flicking at his gorgeous tail growling softly, “you shouldn't speak Ill of your mate, I will have to punish you if you don't cease this moment and start singing his praises.” He murmured as he started nibbling on the curve of her neck.

“Hmmm is that a promise mate? For I think I can find many flaws in my mate.” Kagome teased rubbing her body against his as his hands moved around slipping under her t-shirt one moving up to cup her breast flicking her nipple through the lace of her bra while the other hand rested lazily on her stomach teasing her skin with his claws. The sound of her moans and whimpers driving him on in this little game of theirs. Nipping at her skin before swirling his tongue over the love bite loving the feel over her body so ripe and full of life it amazed him how easily she got her figure back after having their youngest son the only change in her body was the rounding of her hips and chest she was just as beautiful as she always was his mate. Growling softly against her neck “Mine” licking at her mating mark a small gold double crescent moon marked her as his shivers running through her as he licked and nibbled her mark. His tail moving wrapping around her pink clad thigh the tip rubbing against the apex of her thighs groaning letting her head fall back against his shoulder showing her submissiveness to him she knew as well as he did he would torture her for hours to get her submission if he had to of course this was the only time he got as submissive wife but it was more than enough for both of them.

Using his claws he sliced her bra between the breasts letting them pop out of it for him groaning as she ground her ass into him. Using his claw circling her areola lazily knowing it drove her nuts while his other hand slowly moved its way down drawing random patterns on her skin with his claws before sliding into her pink workout pants as he neared his goal he moved one hand to pull her shirt off but before he could the doors to the dojo slammed open and a white blur headed their way sighing she pulled his hands out from under her clothes her was seething wondering how much trouble he would get in for killing his son she went to move away from him her tail loosening from his waist but he refused to let her go holding her around the waist grinning she ground her ass against him again just to be mean his tail still in place pushed against her sensitized body making her groan in retaliation her tail tightening around his hips again as their son leapt up in his mama's arms smiling.

She loved look at their child he was so beautiful the perfect mix of her and her mate. At the age of 18 months he was the size of a human four year old with his fathers beautiful white hair tipped in the inky black of hers the slight elfish ears like hers his fathers facial markings her eyes a beautiful hazel with golden flecks swimming in them his long tail that the poor thing kept tripping over Shessy assured her that he would grow into his black tail with the white tip. He even had cute little fangs and matching claws if grew to be anything like his father she would have to beat girls off with a stick hmmm maybe just some well placed arrows grinning at that thought tickling her little bundle right under his ribcage smiling at him while he giggled and squirmed she could even feel Shessy relaxing at the sound.

“Alright Kyo why are you in here? You know not to run in here like that you could get hurt.” Kagome asked while giving him a stern look she heard Shesshomaru scoff at her remark squeezing him tightly in reprimand with her tail before turning her attention back to their son.

“Uncle Inu called mama he said him and Shippo and Rin are on their way and that they needed to talk to you he said if I told you fast he would give me a present before he left.” The little boy explained in a rush bouncing thinking about his soon to be present he knew it would be candy but if he told mama that she wouldn't let him eat it all she would take some of it and make him wait until after dinner.

Lifting an eyebrow looking at her son, “You're not getting candy before dinner Kyo. Did they say what they wanted?”

“But, mom I didn't say he was giving me candy how did you know??” Kyo pouted

“You just told me.” Kags said grinning, “Anyway did they say what they needed?”

“Nope just said they need to talk to you.”

“Only her?” Shesshomaru inquired

“Yep only mama.” Kyo nodded furiously

“Alright where's Jaken? You didn't tie him up again did you?”

“No mama he's locked in the closet but I didn't tie him up.” The pup said grinning shaking her head Kagome put him down, “Go let him out of the closet Kyo and be nice to the poor guy for a while alright he is getting old.”

Sighing, “Ok mama I will.” He promised before running off to let his guardian out of whatever closet he had locked him in.

Both parents stood there shaking their heads one looking slightly amused the other trying not to giggle. Shesshomaru started stroking her stomach again with his claws grinning when she shivered. “You know mate Jaken isn't much older than I am does that mean I'm old too?” Shesshomaru asked lifting a gently arch brow at his mate.

“I'm not answering that,” she said giggling pulling from him running out of the dojo giggling as he chased her.

“Well I called Kyo is giving her the message as we speak I `m sure” Inuyasha said sighing not looking forward to this.

“You bribed him with candy didn't you?” Shippo accused

“So what if I did it works doesn't it?”

“Yea until he realizes mama will never let him eat it before dinner.” Rin shook her head sighing watching them argue.

“Look you two we have more important problems right now have you figured out how to break the news?”

“Do you think we should tell them at all after all,” After getting dirty looks from the other two who currently thought he was stupid Shippo continued, “What I mean is maybe we should lock papa in a room with us and you put down your shield then we won't have tot tell him and me and Inuyasha be there to hold him down.”

 

Blinking a few times both Inuyasha and Rin realize he may not be as dense as they gave him credit for Inuyasha made sure to let him know that. Shippo glared at Inuyasha in response, “Thanx a lot Inu.” He said sarcastically

Grinning Inu responded, “No Prob man.”

“Look you two we need to get this out of the way if we don't get over there it'll give them time to contemplate and figure things out for themselves we don't need dad to get mad when we're not their to stop him.” Rin said as she stood grabbing both of the males pushing them towards the door.

“Your Right let me grab my keys before you push me out of the house.” Inu huffed grabbing the keys to his '06 Blood red Blazer. Walking out side he noticed the two kids we already in his Blazer looking comfy on the blood red leather interior. Starting the car pulling out hauling ass across town to his brother's mansion.

Sitting in the Library on the love seat two mates sat wondering what their children could have done that they need to tell her and why weren't they planning on tell him?

Shesshomaru sat there deep in thought with his arm around his mate pulling her more firmly in his lap as they lounged unconsciously drawing random patterns on Kagome's thigh loving the scent coming from her but too deep in thought to do anything about it. “What did they do? More like what did Shippo do I know Rin didn't do it and if she did he provoked her damn fox,” Shesshomaru growled only to hear his mate laugh at him, “What do you find so amusing woman? You know that kit is ten times more mischievous than my little princess could ever wish to be.” He grumbled.

“Dear just because he's worse doesn't mean she doesn't have her own mischievous streak and quit blaming his heritage your almost as bad as he is and your not a fox so be nice.” She said play huffing smacking his arm.

“Alright but either way what do you think they did that was so bad that they had to drag my idiotic brother into it? You know they only go to him when its bad last time they came home together Shippo had nearly blown up the high school when he tried to use his foxfire in chemistry.” Shesshomaru sighed his fidgeting getting worse and Kagome couldn't take much more she loved his claws a bit too much squirming moving out of his lap so she could think clearly while pacing across the room. Kagome had her own suspicions as to what they could be coming to say and none of them would make her mate happy and if she was right her baby boy had nothing to do with it. Question is why would she come clean about it unless something else was forcing her. I almost hope someone is blackmailing her and that's why she is going to tell him I am not looking forward to this that's for sure. Looking over at her mate she smiled lowering his eyebrows he looked her over and sniffed the air again, he wasn't imagining it she smelled nervous hmmm…what was his bitch not telling him maybe she knew why they were coming after all. She felt his assessing gaze on her knowing he was about to grill her she moved toward the door excusing herself making up some excuse about making tea for when they did show up she knew it was lame they had servants to do such things but he also knew doing such things made her happy so this time he let her go he knew he'd find out soon enough because if his children thought they could get away with just telling their mother they had another thing coming. No one made the Lord of the western lands curious and didn't fulfill that curiosity. He would force his way into the conversation if he had to.

Moving to his desk to get some work done while waiting on his wayward children to return home.

 

~~In the Kitchen~~

 

Sighing glad he decided against following her kami knows she doesn't want to tell him Rin's secret only to find out that wasn't what she planned on telling that would be a mess. Moving starting the tea as she said she would sitting at the kitchen table waiting on the water to boil spacing out for a couple minutes only to realize someone was at the door she heard voices she knew Shessy would be there in a couple minutes to grill them she and her kids and brother in law wouldn't be having a private conversation today that was for sure. Walking to the door she noticed Rin looking guilty and nervous while the two males just looked nervous.

“Alright you three what did you do and how badly is Shessho going to take it?” Kagome asked getting worried

“Yea that's a good question how mad am I going to get?” A deep voice boomed from the hall entry way. The three in Question jumped at the sound of his voice giggling nervously.

 

 

Authors Notes: I know it's a cliffy guys and I'll update soon hopefully some of you will review for me. I do need some help with deciding on Rin's future mate so if you have any suggestions I'm up to hear it.
