Hello everyone. Thanks for reviewing! I know some of you are still sneak reading, *pouts* but I guess I can't do anything about that. I wrote in Chapter three an Author note that I wouldn't post a lemon until 100 reviews. I just wanted to point out that was a joke, for those who didn't get the whole *does the crazy dance* and *lol* thing. Anyway, I would like to thank a few people for their support - Drake220 for whipping my ass when I was being immature. - Olgui my pen-pal and one of my biggest fans for your support *hugs!*

And to media miner people: wow. *bows* 11 Reviews on chapter four alone. I am so happy :)

Please do continue giving me your reviews, but for now keep the constructive criticism. Someone on aff.net pointed out I needed to change my writing. Well guess what? I ain't. :p

Okay enough of that stuffs. I have a question for you all who are reading though, is there any other lemon then Inu/Kag you want to see? If so, which one? :) Tell me.

Enough of me and my rambling, enjoy chapter five of Roommates. Oh caution to "Kikyou lovers;" I am not being nice to her character in this story. . .sorry.

Chapter five, Breaking up and shopping.

Sesshoumaru, the owner of Watanabe Inc. Sat on his private jet heading home. Next to him sat his secretary Yura Hanako snoozing lightly. How someone could sleep sitting up was beyond his comprehension. However, the demon wasted little time thinking of this. The only woman on his mind was his Rin. For thirty-two days and twelve hours he had been deprived from her mind swirling scent, sweet taste and warm caress. He ached bone deep for her and the passion they shared.

'Can't this thing fly any faster?' Sesshoumaru growled inwardly. He couldn't restrain himself from growing hard by the mere thought of his woman. Shifting in his seat he bit back a groan . . . what he wouldn't do to be with her right now. Her hot lips on his as he drove into her warm welcome heat over and over.

A clawed hand shoved through silver strands as Sesshoumaru tried to clear his thoughts. The pilots' voice spoke softly through the intercom warning his employee that they would be landing shortly. His secretary awoke from her sleep, rubbing the underline of her eye - careful not to smear her mascara.

Nodding to her boss, who was busy looking out the window with an absent look in his eyes, Yura got out of her chair and gathered the scattered papers in front of her. They must have signed at least twenty contracts with builders, designers and architects before she fell asleep. Sesshoumaru's company was growing and expanding to every corner of the world. Soon almost every country on earth would have a factory or store providing or producing their products, making "Watanabe" the most popular and common brand on this planet.

Yura glanced at her boss and could tell he didn't care much about his computer empire at the moment. She was pretty sure his thoughts were home, with his wife and son. For three years Yura Hanako had been Mr. Watanabe's secretary and for an equal amount of time she had wanted to sleep with him. How could she not? Sesshoumaru was a real catch in her book; rich, intelligent, drop-dead-gorgeous and . . . married. She used to go after men with a wedding band, no strings attached. But Sesshoumaru was different - he actually loved his wife. So much in fact he was completely oblivious to the women that threw themselves before him.

Heck, Yura was sure she could walk by stark naked before the man and he wouldn't even spare her a glance. In the beginning that had frustrated her, what did a human have that she didn't? Yes, she could admit that she had been shocked when she heard his mate was a weak ningen. Yura had never been introduced to a stronger demon specimen than herself up til Sesshoumaru. So why he had chosen a human mate was still an unsolved mystery to her.

Sitting once again, Yura crossed her legs' ladylike. Since she was a demon as well, she could break her arousal before it happened. She guessed it was one of the reasons why she still had her job - Sesshoumaru didn't have a clue she hungered for him. Yura wasn't born on a doorstep, she knew what would happen to her career if she caved into her desires.

The plane touched ground a few minutes later, rolling to a stop in one of Watanabe Inc. private aircraft hangers. The piolet emerged from the cockpit after killing the large engines. He smiled and bowed to his employee and wished him a good night. Sesshoumaru was already up and almost out the door when this happened.

Outside a black car with tinted windows was parked waiting to take him to his destination, which was home. Glancing at his Rolex, Sesshoumaru smirked inwardly. It was one a.m., and he would be walking into his villa in less then forty minutes. He was a whole week too early to be home, but that was all for the better. Opening the car door, he glanced in the backseat where the surprise for his mate laid - as planed.

Yura passed Sesshoumaru on the way to the limousine that would take her to her empty apartment. She stopped only to bid him a goodnight and pleasant weekend, but the corner of her eye caught something red. Tilting her head she saw what he had in his car before he closed the door and her out of his life like always. What was it about this Rin? Why the hell was she so special? A hissing Yura stomped off to her ride, she knew her bed would be extra cold tonight as the only company would be her solo-pleasure toys.

~%~

It was just before two a.m. when Sesshoumaru arrived home. Driving into the driveway he noticed there was an extra car parked out front. By the color and model he knew it was his brothers'. After gathering the gifts he had for his mate from the backseat, Sesshoumaru stuck his key into the Victorian arched-windowed front door to his house.

Well inside he paused. A faint sound of his son's game console tickled his eardrum; 'Yukio wouldn't be awake at this hour . . . ' The demon shook his head, heading toward the annoying noise determined to kill it. Seconds later Sesshoumaru stood outside one of his house many guestrooms, however, this was the one mostly used by his baby brother. Knocking lightly he heard InuYasha grunt out a "Come in." So that's what he did.

InuYasha lay on the bed wearing nothing more then his worn out jeans, playing "Final Fantasy X-2." Hearing the knock, the hanyou paused the game knowing it was his brother, he had heard him come in and then down the hallway to his room.

"Hey."

"Hey. Why are you here?" Sesshoumaru asked evenly.

"I drove Rin home, she . . . came to visit me for a while."

"Ah."

InuYasha glanced down to his brothers' hands where he was holding several thornless red roses, Rin's favorite flower. "For Rin?" smiled InuYasha.

Sesshoumaru nodded reaching down his pant-pocket pulling out a dark purple velvet box. "And this," cracking it open he showed InuYasha a baby-blue topaz and diamond stoned ring.

"Eh . . . what made you buy her that? I thought she thinks buying jewelry is a waste of money."

"They are Birth-stones. For Yukio and our next pup." Sesshoumaru explained.

The white-haired boy in the bed raised a brow, "Damn . . . that's nice." His brother only smirked. "So tell me why you're really here before I go to bed?"

InuYasha sighed, flipping to his stomach. "I'm going to break up with Kikyou."

"Why?"

"I don't love her . . . I guess."

"A new woman?" Sesshoumaru bit back a chuckle when his baby brother's face grew red at his observation.

"No . . . " InuYasha shoved a clawed hand through his hair groaning, "I don't know. Maybe?" Sesshoumaru nodded. Female problems were something he didn't have to worry about anymore. He was quiet content with his current one and had been for nine years soon. That reminded him . . . he had a mission to pleasure the vixen upstairs and he was standing here wasting time. Talking to his brother.

"Well I'll see you in the morning. Ah, and do use the headphones" he said backing out of the room. InuYasha nodded, "Sure Bro, goodnight and sleep tight."

When Sesshoumaru closed the bedroom door behind him, he shook his head. He would never get over how well he and InuYasha got along nowadays. Back when his baby brother had been in High-school, they had fought day and night. But like a miracle InuYasha grew up over night and is now going to attend a good University expanding his artistic skills. Sesshoumaru allowed himself to smile as he moved down the hallway and over to the wing he shared with his mate.

The next morning InuYasha awoke by someone jumping on the bed next to him. Cracking a honey orb open he saw it was his nephew. "Yasha!" He exclaimed excitedly.

The pup looked like he had just awoken himself, still wearing his white and black spotted PJ set. His white shoulder long hair was as messy it could get for a demon, which were a few strands crisscrossed. But his eyes always appeared as if the sun had arisen within, glittering with mischief and amusement.

"Hey kid." InuYasha yawned wide and rose to a sitting position. He could hear over Yukio's squealing that Rin was awake, and from the smell of it making coffee.

"My dad is home!" Yukio informed the hanyou, like it was the best thing in the world. InuYasha nodded, "That's great." The little demon kid sank down in the bed into a sitting position. "Are you going to come eat Crunches with meeeee?" InuYasha smiled. "Sure, let's go." The older boy got out of the bed taking Yukio like he was a bag of potatoes - throwing him over his shoulder. Yukio squirmed and giggled all the way to the kitchen.

It was around eleven a.m. when InuYasha finally was ready to head over to Kikyou's. He hadn't called and told her he was home, nor did he intend to. Checking his key chain he saw his copy of his soon ex-girlfriend's apartment key. Kikyou lived with her mom and sister but they were rarely there, so she always called it "her place."

Determined to give the key back to its rightful owner, InuYasha started his car and pulled out of the driveway.

Thirty minutes later the hanyou parked outside the girl's apartment complex. He remembered Kikyou's schedule and knew she didn't have to be at the shrine until one p.m. Seeing her red Ford parked a few spots away he knew she was home.

As he walked up to her door, he removed the key from his chain. He wasn't sure what he would say to her but hoped it would come when they stood face-to-face. InuYasha was sure, however, she would start crying on him, and normally that would be something that would make him reconsider his decision. But no. He didn't love her and was pretty sure she wouldn't either if she knew who he really was. Simply put; it was wrong and never meant to be.

Tossing away the eerie feeling of being an intruder, InuYasha stuck the metal in his hand into its lock. Pushing the door open he frowned when the smell of arousal hit him like a mack truck. "What the hell?" He whispered to himself taking a step into the apartment. The sound of mixed moaning and groaning tickled his sensitive ears under the conceal-spell. Kikyou's apartment reeked of sex and another male the deeper he walked into it.

The hanyou resisted the sudden urge to hurl when he walked into the kitchen and saw his girlfriend riding another man on the dinner table. The guy beneath her froze as he noticed InuYasha in the doorway. "Who the in seven Hells are you?" The male bellowed.

"I think I should ask you that." InuYasha corrected, covering his mouth and nose with his sleeve, the stench was unbearable and was slowly making his face turn green with nausea. Kikyou twisted where she sat and stared, wide-eyed at her boyfriend in the doorway. She opened her mouth as if trying to say something but InuYasha interrupted her, "Don't bother. It's over. Here is your key."

Placing the carved metal on the round table next to him, InuYasha turned and walked out of the apartment and Kikyou's life for good. Well outside the hanyou took a deep breath, trying desperately to kill the need to throw up where he stood. When his thoughts cleared, he remembered what he had seen and shuddered. Kikyou and he had never slept together. She used to tell him she wanted to wait til marriage. And he had respected that, he actually loved her at one point enough to do so. But clearly she never did him and had evidently lied. But InuYasha wasn't mad, upset or even ticked. He was just . . . glad. Happy to finally have seen Kikyou's true colors and realized his own - that he was really done with her.

Taking out his car keys InuYasha unlocked his car and got in. Just as he was about to close the door - the girl, now dressed, comes running out of her apartment, waving her arms yelling for him to wait. Tempted to just take off, not really caring for what she had to say he closed the door. But then again he was curious too just how she would explain herself. Pressing the "window down" button InuYasha waited as she approached the vehicle.

"It's not what you think . . . " She started. He snorted out a laugh, "Is that fucking so?" Kikyou nodded eagerly. "Yeah. We're just friends and . . . "

"And friends fuck?" InuYasha cut her off, amusement laced his voice.

She lifted an eyebrow at him, "You're not mad?" InuYasha shrugged. "Why should I be mad at a whore?" He asked sarcastically. That clearly got her because she reached into the car and tried to slap him but he stopped her hand midway, "Don't you fucking dare touching me." He warned with a dangerously calm voice, pushing her hand back through the window. She threw him a scowling look, but he could smell the fear falling from her like waves.

InuYasha started his car and was ready to pull out when she suddenly attached herself to the car door. "Please Inu, I love you." She whined, eyes quickly filling with tears. "Get the fuck off my car, Kikyou." He tried to push her away but she was holding on as if her life depended on it. "No! I won't let you go!" She cried desperately. "What the fuck do you want from me?" InuYasha killed the engine and waited for her reply, he was starting to get really pissed off.

"You! I want you!" The girl let go off his car and collapsed next to him on the ground, crying her eyes out. "Then why the hell did you sleep with someone else? What happened to you wanting to wait til you were married?" InuYasha growled, not making a move to help her up or comfort her. He knew it was all an act - she was so good at lying that even he, a half-demon, could not smell it on her.

"I don't know . . . I guess I couldn't . . . resist."

"Resist?" InuYasha echoed, biting back a bitter laugh. "You couldn't resist fucking? Or cheating?" He didn't wait for her reply, he didn't want it. Shaking his head, InuYasha started his car again. This time Kikyou did nothing, she just laid there in a fetal position sobbing. "Pick your self up, Kikyou. You look pathetic." He spat, before pulling out of the parking lot and her life for good.

Back at a mall near campus, that same day. Sango had just convinced Kagome they needed to go shopping. "I really don't need anything, Sango." Kagome assured, as her friend dragged her in and out of every store. "Look at this," the taller girl exclaimed holding up a pink miniskirt, successfully ignoring her. "It would be awesome on you!"

Kagome groaned, "I look horrible in skirts." Sango shook her head, "Nonsense."

A few minutes later Kagome was pushed into a fitting room with more then five different outfits. Most were things she would never in her life consider wearing; sexy tops and tight dresses. Sighing Kagome caved in and started to undress, if this was something her friend wanted to see her in she might as well humor her.

Pulling on the dark red V-necked and sleeveless dress first, Kagome exits the booth to show the girl waiting outside. "Wow!" Sango exclaimed seeing her friend. "Turn around." The material stopped mid-thigh and was glued to Kagome's hourglass figure like a second skin. "I like this one, really nice!"

The girl in the dress shook her head, "Yeah if you're after to lose your virginity." Sango giggled, "Maybe I should buy it then."

Kagome gapped, horror written clear across her face. "Sango! Don't tell me . . ."

"No! I just . . . you know . . . you never know, he might be The One." Kagome thought about this for a second. 'Miroku probably wouldn't mind being her first one. . . . .Pervert.'

"Wouldn't it best, to wait? I mean you two haven't dated that long. What is it? Three days?"

"Four." Sango corrected, blushing lightly. "Well, still not enough time to really know someone well enough to do it." Kagome chided.

"But Kag . . . we're eighteen. Eighteen! We can do whatever we want and whenever we want. It's not like our moms are going to walk in on us or something . . . "

"Yeah . . . and then we'll become pregnant before we even have a chance to start our careers." Kagome replied solemnly. "Great planning!"

Sango who hadn't seen it like that nodded after a slight pause. "You're right Kag . . . I need to get myself on the pill."

"Sango!"

"Just kidding!" The girl laughed, swatting Kagome with her purse. "Now show me the next dress."

As she dressed herself in the next outfit, a black miniskirt with a silver chain and a sparkly white top, Kagome was deep in thoughts. She remembered the day her mother had dragged her kicking and screaming to the gynaecologist, forcing her to start taking the birth control pill. "Precaution." She called it, Kagome had called it embarrassment. Not only had the doctors office been full of girls around her age, which at the time was seventeen. Her mother had held her hand the whole time!

"Are you alive in there?" Sango knocked softly on the door making Kagome snap back to reality. "Yeah, coming." Stepping out of the booth a second time, her friend shook her head. "No. The other dress was the bomb compared to this."

"Okay," Kagome walked back into the booth - closing the door behind her. "Sango?" She called softly as she took off what she was wearing. "Mm?"

"I'm . . . on the pill." There was silence behind the door, and for a moment Kagome thought her friend had left, mad at her for saying what she had before.

"Are you?" Sango finally asked.

Kagome nodded, even though her friend couldn't see her. "Yes. My Mama forced me to start taking them." She heard Sango shuffling her feet on the other side of the door. "Would you come with me . . . if I make an appointment?"

"Of course." Kagome replied as she pulled on the third dress. "This is nice." She suddenly said, changing the subject unintentionally. She was looking at herself in the mirror and actually liked what she was seeing, a lot. The material was thin, but triple layered. Reaching down to her kneecaps and long sleeved, it was something Kagome would normally wear.

"Well don't keep me hanging. Come out here." Sango ordered impatiently. But when she saw her friend she frowned. "The red one is way better."

"Can't I buy both? I like this one." Kagome whined, pouting. The taller girl giggled lightly, "Yeah sure. But you have to promise me you'll wear the red one tomorrow."

"Why tomorrow?"

"We're having dinner at my place. A kind of welcome-here party for my roommate Ayame. We wanted to have it tonight but InuYasha isn't back yet." She explained to a frowning Kagome.

"Hm I guess it'll be okay . . . " the girl drawled. She really didn't like the idea of walking around in outfits like this, near her friends' lecherous boyfriend. But she wouldn't tell Sango that. She hadn't even told her about the first and only time he had groped her - there was no need. Miroku appeared to have changed his behavior, no rumors of his wandering hands doing damage were flying around. Shrugging, Kagome walked into the booth to change to her normal clothes.

The girls kept shopping the day away. Not only did they get shoes, more clothes and makeup they even bought a pair of shades each. Walking out of the eyeglass store they almost collided with two guys. "Sorry." The girls squeaked out, bowing as they tried to move out of the way. "Hey, you're the girl at the party." A deep manly voice made them both look up.

Kagome bit back the need to groan, it was that wolf demon and a friend of his. "Uh yeah. You're Kouga. Right?" She asked politely returning the smile he was sending her.

"You know my name." The demons' smile blew into a full fledge smirk. 'Oh no. That was the wrong thing to say . . . ' Kagome thought, feeling herself starting to sweat lightly. "Ah, yeah. I heard it when you were fighting with InuYasha."

"Are you and dog-breath dating?" Kouga asked his smirk fading.

"Yes they are." Sango cut in, tugging Kagome's arm. "Now if you'll excuse us. Come on Kag." The priestess giggled nervously, peeping out a "Bye," before Sango pulled her away.

"Why the heck did, you tell him we were dating?" Kagome asked demandingly when they were out of the wolf's hearing range. Sango stopped, grasping her friends' arm. "Because Kag. Kouga is the kind of guy who would start asking you out if you I didn't. And even if you told him no, he would keep asking until you caved! In short; he would never leave you alone."

Kagome blinked, "Do you know him or something?"

The girl shook her head. "No. But Miroku does and he told me about him. Let's just say you do not want a guy like that."

Kagome nodded hesitantly, "Okay, if you say so. I didn't have any plans on dating him anyway." They started walking, next stop being Victoria's secret. "You know." Kagome started as they entered the women's underwear store. "InuYasha will never agree to back up the rumor that we're dating." Sango shrugged lightly, "I doubt anyone would really care."

"Maybe not. But Kouga will find out the truth sooner or later, and then he'll be back."

"Then just tell him you're dating someone else. Make someone up."

Kagome giggled at her last sentence. That was exactly what she had done during High-school. A guy named Hojo had kept asking her out, and for a long time she had tried giving him hints that she didn't really like him that way. But the boy was way too dense for his own good.

So eventually she had made up a boyfriend, a motorcycle riding bad boy.

One that didn't live in their town, one that her friends had started calling a two-timing bastard. Of course, before she moved she had broken things off with him. Much to Eri, Arimi and Yuka's happiness. And to Kagome's as well. She was a horrible liar and was actually surprised her three best friends at the time believed her. But then again those three would believe anything as long as it explained why Kagome was throwing someone as fine, as Hojo to the wind.

The girls continued their shopping in peace. No demons, or humans for that matter, interrupted the day which they continued spending together. Hours later they had rented a movie and was ready to curl up and watch it in the apartment Kagome shared with InuYasha, who still wasn't home. Plopping in the DVD version of "13 going on 30," the girls placed the popcorn bowl they had prepared minutes earlier, between them.

It wasn't until late Sango bid her friend a good night and left the apartment. Kagome glanced at the watch seeing it was eleven p.m. "Maybe there is some good movie on the cube," she murmured to herself, making her way back to the couch. Sitting she started abusing the remote in her hand, flipping the channels until she stopped on a classic version of "Dracula." The movie might have been black and white but Kagome liked old movies like that. They usually were really comical and better made then the digital stuff nowadays.

She must have fallen asleep sometime during the show, because she never heard the front door open or heard the footsteps of a certain hanyou. InuYasha was beat when he came home, all he wanted to do was to sink down in his bed and sleep til noon. But when he walked into the living room he noticed the TV was on and a sleeping Kagome was curled up under a blanket in the couch. She looked so peaceful he wasn't sure if he should wake her or leave her in there. Knowing she would probably be more comfortable in her own bed, he turned off the TV with the remote she was clutching. She didn't even stir when he took it from her, or when he shook her lightly.

"Um, Kagome?" He whispered, not sure how loud he should make himself. The girl moaned lightly in her sleep but didn't awake. "Princess?" He tried again, chuckling lightly when her brown eye snapped open. "Huh?" She answered lazily. "Are you going to sleep out here? Or what?"

She didn't answer but instead sat up straight, darting her unfocused eyes around the room which landed on InuYasha who was standing next to her. She reared back when she realized how close he was. "Eh, no." She replied, scrambling out of the couch almost falling to the floor as the blanket was wrapped around her feet.

InuYasha was quickly behind her holding her waist. Kagome could feel his warm body behind her as he pulled her close. Her breath hitched a notch when he whispered hotly in her ear, "Be careful." He pressed his body to hers, making her head quickly daze over. Involuntarily she tilted backward, unable to resist the heat coming from the body behind hers.

InuYasha bit back a groan when she responded by leaning into him. His arms tightened around her waist, deepening the contact. But when she went rigid in his arms, he knew the moment was over for the girl quickly moved out the embrace.

Picking up the blanket from the floor, Kagome fought to regain her breathing under control. Her heart was thundering like a jackhammer against her rib cage. "Uh, good night," She whispered intending to flee into the safety of her bedroom. However, her body did not want to listen, but instead moved her closer to the half-demon still standing next to her. Tilting her head up, Kagome surprised herself when she placed a light kiss on his cheek before walking calmly into her bedroom closing the door behind her.

InuYasha stared after the girl who had just kissed him. He was speechless and his mind was blank, never in a million years had he expected that from her. A bright blush painted his cheeks as he found the ability to move, walking into his sleeping chamber. Closing the door behind him, he walked over to his bed falling head first into the covers. "Kagome," he whispered rolling her name on his tongue as if for the first time. The feelings he had for her had suddenly changed, triggered by a single kiss.

Kagome laid in her bed, wide-awake. She had kissed him. On the cheek, yes, but a kiss nonetheless. She had no idea what had made her do that, nor did she want to know. The confused feelings she had felt before was back, did she like him? Kagome shook her head, she wasn't sure just what exactly she felt. Only that a warm feeling was steadily growing every time she was in his presence.
