*-*-* That night*-*-*

Everyone had a great time that day everyone got to know the Lord and welcomed him to the family. Everyone also got their questions answer and now was time for resting so everyone went to their rooms which servants showed them.

Kagome lying in her room that was royal blue and silver color it had a balcony, a dresser with a mirror, a comfy futon, and a closet full of silk kimonos. She loved it she couldn't believe how beautiful the palace was sometimes she would go on the balcony and sit in a chair and look out to the Southern lands.

She was still shocked that this was all true but couldn't believe how kind her father was when he showed the palace. She also liked the servants they were so kind to her and her family so knew instantly that she would love it here. Tomorrow they would show her how to act like a princess and a demoness, she didn't know why they would teach her that but she would go along with she didn't want to make her father mad.

She didn't know that her lesson would help her out in the future. (wink wink hint!)

With Minka and Hotohori they where in there bedroom talking about their children.

"Hotohori why are you making our daughter learn proper way of a demoness?" she asked looking at him. He look at her and smiled "Because she needs to learn how to be a proper mate for her future mate and if she going to rule over this land."

"You never told me that!" "I thought you were going to let her choose her mate and let Souta rule the land?" she said. He said, "I am going to let choose her mate but it has to be a Lord from other lands which would also make an alliance."

She couldn't believe what she heard he was going to let their daughter just be an alliance with one of the other Lords and let her not choose who she want to marry on her own. Lord Hotohori could tell that his mate was mad about it but he needed someone to rule his land and Souta still had a long way until he was ready, and he knew that this would come to a benefit if his daughter mated with someone from the other lands.

"YOU MEAN YOUR NOT GOING TO LET YOUR DAUGHTER CHOOSE HER MATE ON HER OWN BECAUSE OF A STUPID ALLIANCE!" She yelled.

He was scared but had to calm her down or she would fry him. "Please dear I need someone to rule my land and I know she will do a great job but she will need a mate that can help her if needed." He looked at her hoping she would calm down so he could explain his actions.

She sighed and said "Fine but you're going have to tell me your plan!"

"Well I was going to invite all the princes to visit all at a one time so that they could get to know each other and hopefully she would choose one."

She nodded and thought about it she knew Souta was young to rule and Kagome was a fast learner. She still wished that her daughter had the choice of mating with; she knew she could choose which prince she wanted but she didn't know if Kagome would like any of them. She would hope for the best because her mate was a stubborn so that would mean he wasn't going to change his mind about it.

*-*-*The next morning*-*-*

Kagome woke up and decided that she would go outside before her lessons. She walking down the hall and said `hello' to every servant she passed she couldn't help but feel happy. When she got outside she saw a girl about her age but older doing training with a cat demon she had a boomerang looking weapon that she swung around.

Kagome could tell that she was a demon exterminator by the clothes she wore but wondered why she was over here at the palace. She started waking up to her to see how she trained but never thought sneaking on a demon exterminator when he or she is training would be dangerous.

The exterminator heard her cat demon growl so she threw her hiraikotsu but didn't realized it was the princess until it was too late she hoped that it would miss her. She was in shock what she saw the princess stop the hiraikotsu in midair.

Kagome saw that the exterminator was in shock face and laughed. "Sorry I didn't mean to disrupt your training." "Its all right I was going to take a break any ways, sorry about trying to hurt you princess." said the girl.

Kagome looked at her and smiled. "Please call me Kagome and to make up for that, you can tell me what your name is." The girl smiled back and replied, "My name is Sango, may I ask what you are I know you're a demon but demons don't have that power."

Kagome grinned, "I'm a Miko/demon." Sango smiled and said, " wow that's rare and you're a princess that's amazing!" The girls continued talking and became instant friends they were talking to each other until it was time for Kagome lesson.

Kagome first lesson was how to eat properly then how to serve guest that were royalty with tea. Her teacher Yugi was kind she had grayish bluish hair with violet color eyes, she was an old demoness, but wise she would get on Kagome case until she did it right. Yugi wanted perfection so that Kagome would not embarrass herself and also she cared deeply for she was a sweet child but had a temper so she would learn to control it. Kagome didn't mind Yugi's bossy commands but was getting tried of doing thing over though it took about another two hours then left for another lesson.

After that lesson she would go through paperwork and learn how to organize it for her future kingdom but this was with her father so she was happy. Her father taught her how to write formal letter, what to do incase of a war and other things. She liked spending time with her father she learned many things about the kingdom and how important it was her father even showed her were the weapon room was and where the soldiers sleep.

After her lessons with her father she had lunch and went to the gym to learn how to fight like a demon she didn't know who was going to teach but she hoped that she they would go lightly on her. Her mother taught her everything about being a miko and how to fight but nothing about demon senses.

She waited and then saw one of the guards that took guided her way to the palace. He had a short black hair but with a braid in the back, he had three red marks on his face, and he had grayish blue eyes. His features were very handsome and she liked them but didn't say anything.

He said, "Today we will start with defense ok Lady Kagome."

She smiled and said "please don't call me Lady just call me Kagome," "I sorry but I don't remember getting you name."

"I am sorry La- Kagome it's Tamahome." He said.

Kagome nodded and concentrated.

He was looking at her with amazement she was beautiful with her long locks and the marking on her face. She looked like a goddess that should be praised but knew she was off limits because she was going to be with one of the Lord from the other lands. With that he tried to focus on the task at hand. He said, " Kagome lets see how you block." He started fighting with her, she did very well blocking she didn't miss one.

Kagome knew she could go faster but waited until it was her turn to hit him so she could show him that she wasn't weak. She didn't want to show him her powers yet she just wanted to see what he thought of her. She would show him there was more to her that what met the eye.

Tamahome was impressed the way she moved her mother did a good job of training her. Now all her want was to see if she could hit him. "Kagome now try and hit me." He seen her smirk `so she thinks she can hit me lets see how fast she can go' he thought and waited until she moved.

Kagome made the first move and tried hitting him. He blocked most of the hits but couldn't believe how fast she moves he barley had time to block. His Lord told him to expect that Kagome knew more that he thought she would and that she had amazing amount of power but he never knew she was that powerful. "Kagome it seem your mother taught you more than I thought I guess lets move on to sword fighting." She smiled and said, "Even though my mother had a spell on me I could still move fast so she trained me to block and fight."

He asked, "Kagome do you have a sword?" She nodded and went to the corner where she put it. "My grandpa said that it was made for a powerful priestess so he passed it down to me, but he also only a person with a pure of heart can harness it." He looked at her and smiled.

"Kagome I believe you can wield it because you have the biggest heart I have seen." Kagome blushed at him. He smirked and said, "Now lets get to work there is a lot of thing I still need to teach you." Kagome nodded and they continue.

They worked on sword techniques for about three hours then Tamahome taught Kagome how to use her demon senses. That only took about an hour then he said they would continue tomorrow.

After her lessons Kagome went looking for Sango wanting to tell her what she learned today but she found her with a man. Kagome thought `I wonder if that is Sango boyfriend?' `She never told me she like a guy I wonder who he is?'

Kagome yelled "Hi Sango who is the guy?" Sango blushed and said "This is the hentai monk named Miroku he your priest in the palace." Miroku ignored Sango statement and went up to Kagome and said, "Princess Kagome your beauty is like a goddess my I ask you a question?" Sango shaking her head and rolled her eyes. Kagome nodded. "Will bear my children?" Kagome was surprised that he said that but then she felt something rub her backside she instantly hit Miroku on the head, which made him unconscious.

Kagome yelled, "I can't believe he did that I could kill him!" Sango said "Don't worry Kagome hit him hard enough were he won't get up for awhile so what did you want to tell me?" Kagome nodded and said, "I wanted to tell you about my day and I wanted to hear yours." Sango and Kagome sat on a log and started talking about how their day went they talked until Miroku woke up.

"Lady Kagome why did you hit me so hard for?" asked Miroku. Kagome answered "BECAUSE YOU GROPED ME YOU IDIOT AND NO I WILL NOT BEAR YOUR CHILDREN!" Sango had to calm Kagome down or she'll do something that she'll regret. Sango said, "Miroku you better be carefully she is a full demon and a miko you may get hurt." Miroku couldn't believe what he heard he only heard of a demon/miko in stories never thought that they were real.

Miroku asked, " Kagome you're a demon/miko?" Kagome nodded. "Kagome can you show me what you can do?" "Yes, Mirkou as long as you don't grope me or I'll shoot you." She said. Kagome grab her arrows and aimed it a tree 20 yards away then let it go.

Miroku couldn't believe what he saw the arrow hit the target but was amazing was the power on it he never seen that much power. Kagome smirked and said, "I could go farther about 100 yards away." Sango was also in shock she couldn't believe how powerful Kagome was. She knew in stories that demon/mikos were powerful beyond belief but she never thought that she would she with her own eyes.

Kagome asked, "What the matter did I do something wrong?" Sango said, "No Kagome we just couldn't believe that you had that much power I hope the Lords can handle you." Kagome looked confused "What are you talking about Sango what do you mean you hope the Lords- can handle me?" Miroku elbow Sango she forgot that the princess didn't know about the plan of her marriage or mating.

Miroku said, "Sango was just messing around."

"Sango you better tell what you are talking about NOW!" Kagome hated being left out in the dark about things that involve her. Sango sighed, "Kagome in about two months from now your father arrange that you will meet Lords from the other three land and one of them would become your mate." Kagome was shocked she just got here and know she had to get a mate. She was going to talk to her mother and father very soon about this.

Kagome said, "I will talk to you guys later I'm going to talk to my parents."

"Sango why did you tell her now we are going to be in trouble." "No, we are not I told her because she deserved to know and plus Miroku how would you feel if your parent were planning things behind your back?" "I know your right Sango but I mean is fair that Kagome has to choose a mate so soon?" "I don't know but we will just hope for the best." They sighed and hoped their friend would be okay with her parents' decision.

Kagome was waiting until dinner started so she could tell her parents what she thought about the idea of fixing her up with probably an arrogant, stubborn, and spoiled Lord. She sat in bed thinking `Why would they do this to me I mean I just got here and not I have to fine a husband or mate its not fair I'm not even going to have a boyfriend before I get married!' ` Does this mean I will rule the land when I get married to who ever?' `I wonder what they look like and if they're nice.' With those thought she fell asleep.

Souta when into Kagome's room and shook her "Kagome wake up its dinner time." Kagome said, "Okay Souta I'll be there in a minute." Souta left while Kagome comb her hair and then left for dinner.

Kagome walked in the dinning room with her father at the head of the table and her mother next to him. Souta would sit across from her, Kagome sat down and looking at her parents who were talking. `They probably planning how they going to get the Lords in without me knowing!' `I can't believe them I have only been hear for two days and their planning me to get married!' Kagome was about say something to her parent but the servant came in with the food.

Lord Hotohori looked at his daughter and could sense that there was something bothering her. He could smell anger, and sadness in her but didn't know why she was feeling this way he thought she was happy here with him and the family. "Kagome what is the matter your scent has anger and sadness?"

Kagome forgot that her father could smell her emotions, she didn't know how she would tell them that she knew of what they were planning two months from now. She looked at her father "Father I know what you're planning two months from now and why you put me in the lessons." "I can't believe that you already want me to marry and leave the family!" She looked at her food trying not to cry.

He got up and went to Kagome. Hotohori looked in his daughter eyes and said,"Kagome I don't want you to leave I just want what best for you and the kingdom." "Your going to need a mate that is strong to control my lands and his, but I also want you to be happy that's why I'm letting you choose your mate." "Kagome you're my first child and I will always love you." "I know that you will make the right choice in who you marry and we will all be here to support you in any way." Hotohori knew she thought that he didn't love her but she didn't know how hard it was to loose his daughter to men he barely even knew.

Kagome looked at her father and saw he was sincere so she gave her father a hug and said "Thank you, I will fulfill you wish and choose one you the Lords." Hotohori smiled and nodded. Hotohori knew he made the right choice to let Kagome rule his lands he knew that she would take care of them.

After the dinner the family talked about what they did the entire day and went to sleep.

*-*-*In Northern Lands*-*-*

The Lord of the Northern Lands had agreed to meet the princess of the Southern Lands. He heard that her beauty was like a goddess with blue sapphire eyes that could take your breath away. He also heard her of kindness and gentle attitude but she also had a feisty spirit that would be hard to tame.

He could tell she powerful or he father would have never let her rule the land if she wasn't but just by the description he knew that he would love for her to be by his side. Only two weeks left until he would meet the beauty of the Southern Lands. He wanted to have the Southern Lands as well as the other Lords so this wasn't going to be easy there's going to be three other males trying to win her heart. He was going to be the first to see her so he knew that he had to make the right impress on her or the other Lords might convince her of mating with them.

Now all he had to do is wait until that day.

*-*-*In the Eastern Lands*-*-*

In the Eastern Lands there was great evil and no one dared to go there they were afraid of the poison that surround the area. The Lord and his servant were the only ones that lived there everything else had died. The Lord had strange servant that had powers that was useful to him. He also agreed to meet the princess because he wanted the land and he heard she had great powers that a normal demon didn't have. He wanted to control her powers so she would rule by his side and he wanted her lands as well as the others. There was only a little time until he would meet her in person but now he would just look at her through magic.

The Lord called his servant that was a little girl that was holding a mirror to come in his chambers. "Kana show me the princess of the Southern Lands" with a flash she showed her master what he wanted to see. He looked at the princess with lust in his eyes he could see her beauty that captured his attention he told himself `you will be mine princess as well as your lands.' He couldn't wait to see her in person so he could mess with her head and make her his.

He would just sit and wait until the Southern land sent him a message to go and see their precious princess.

*-*-* In the Western Lands*-*-*

In lush green lands of the west were two lords. One lord was calm never showed any emotion and was a very dangerous demon. The other lord was a half demon that was rude, arrogant and stubborn he was feared but not as much as his half-brother. They both carried powerful swords that their father gave them. They had both agreed to meet the princess of the Southern Lands because their father told them that one-day they would have to take a mate.

They both had heard interesting rumors about her they never thought that she was strong as they say or that she could rule the land on her own. The older Lord thought that females should not rule lands because of their emotions and their weakness of having compassion. He only agreed to meet her because of his father wish and he wanted her land. [That what he thinks ;) ]

The younger Lord didn't care if she ruled her land he thought that she was brave or stupid to take on such a responsibility. He agreed because he heard of her beauty and she was a great fighter, he wouldn't mind having a strong mate. He also wanted to fulfill his father wish of having a mate. Even though his brother was competing for her hand he knew that his brother probably ignore her and not even try to win her heart only to get her lands.

They wouldn't just be competing against themselves but also Lord of the Northern and Eastern Land. They would have to wait until they receive a letter telling them to go over to the Southern lands because neither one of them want to the North or East to win the lands of the south.

Okay sorry for the wait on updating but I hoped you guys like it. Plz guys review or I will just delete it and start on a new fic. All want is a least 5 reviews telling me if I suck or not ok. Well if I get the 5 reviews I want then I'll continue. Plz don't let it be the same person.
