Inuyasha's eyes started to tint into a more noticeable red color, rather than pink, when he set eyes on the man that dared interrupt him.

 

“What makes you think she's your woman you wimpy wolf?”

 

“Because I said she is! Now get the fuck off of her dog shit!” He looked over at Kagome. “Kagome, is this mutt hurting you?”

 

Inuyasha growled at Kouga and backed up from Kagome only to pull her behind him in a protective stance.

 

“I'm not hurting her dumb ass!”

 

“I didn't ask you mutt! I asked Kagome!”

 

Kagome tried to back away from Inuyasha but he wasn't having it, he had a firm grasp on her wrist and it didn't seem like he would be letting go anytime soon.

 

“I'm fine, Kouga. Inuyasha isn't hurting me.”

 

“Good, I wouldn't want him hurting my woman.”

 

Inuyasha growled, but immediately stopped when he felt Kagome walking around to stand in front of him. He still didn't let go of her wrist, it was probably the only thing keeping him from killing that damn wolf.

 

Once she maneuvered herself in front of Inuyasha she looked directly into Kouga's eyes.

 

“I'm not your women! So, stop calling me that!”

 

Inuyasha smirked. “That's right, you're my bitch!”

 

`My bitch…I like the sound of that.” Inuyasha's smirk turned into a full fledged grin.

 

Kagome's eyes widened at his statement and turned around to face him. “I'm not your bitch! Would you stop calling me that! Grrr!”

 

`I'm not his bitch! That stupid jerk!'

 

Inuyasha's ears twitched under his bandana. `Did she just growl?'

 

Forgetting that Kouga was standing right in front of him he pulled Kagome flush against his chest and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist.

 

He whispered into her ear. “I think that you should growl more often.”

 

Kouga clenched his fists at his sides when he saw Inuyasha pull `his' Kagome against him.

 

“Let my Kagome go, dumb shit!”

 

Inuyasha nuzzled Kagome's neck and smirked up at Kouga. “And if I don't wolf boy?”

 

“I'm gonna beat your ass!”

 

“You couldn't beat my ass even if you tried.”

 

“Oh yeah!”

 

“Yeah”

 

With that Kouga rushed at Inuyasha, he didn't think to notice that Kagome was still in the hanyou's arms.

 

Seeing him coming Inuyasha quickly pushed Kagome behind his back out of Kouga's reach. With out another word he rushed at the wolf. As soon as the two guys collided they hit the pavement and started to fight. Kouga threw the first punch, but it was blocked by Inuyasha and met with a blow to his rib cage. Rolling around on the ground they fought for dominance. Once Inuyasha managed to get on top he let his claws rip through Kouga's chest.

 

Kagome stood there watching them fight. As soon as she saw Inuyasha claw at Kouga's chest she knew the fight had gone too far. At first she tried to walk up to them, so she could pull them off each other, but when she almost got hit with a flying fist she knew she needed to do something else.

 

Kouga punched Inuyasha square in the jaw and flipped them over so he was the one on top. “Don't you ever touch my woman again!” With that started pounding his fists into the hanyou's face. That was the last straw for Inuyasha he was done playing with this wolf and Kagome was not that wolf's woman she was his and only his. He didn't know exactly when it started, but all he knew was that Kagome would be his no matter what the cost.

 

Inuyasha rammed his knee into Kouga's crotch and watched as the wimpy wolf rolled off of him holding himself. He was about to end the fight by knocking the bastard out, but he felt a pair of small arms encircle his waist trying to pull him away.

 

When Kagome saw Kouga roll off Inuyasha she knew that was her chance to stop the fight so she grabbed Inuyasha by the waist and tried her best to haul him away from Kouga.

 

“Stop, please stop.” was the only thing she could say. After seeing the effects of the fight she could say nothing more. Kouga's shirt was ripped and bloody and so was Inuyasha. They each had a lot of cuts all over them, and she also guessed that they must have quite a few bruises.

 

She buried her face in the middle of his back, she didn't want see what he looked like nor did she want to continue looking at Kouga. There way way too much blood for her liking.

 

`God, does he smell good! Damn…there I go again! He does not smell good! Why am I still holding him?'

 

She sighed and began to let him out of her grasp.

 

 

Hearing her whispered plea he felt her head nuzzle into his back in-between his shoulder blades. He growled in Kouga's direction, but stood still in her arms. When his felt her loosen her grasp and begin to pull away he turned around to face her.

 

“And just where do you think your going?”

 

`Does she honestly think I'm just going to let her go? I don't think so, not after the way she started cuddling up to me.”

 

“I...ummm...I'm going home.” She turned to get into her cut wut was stopped when a large hand grabbed her much smaller one.

 

“I don't think so.”

 

She narrowed her eyes at him. “I don't care what you think, I'm going home. Now let me go!”

 

`How dare he tell me what I can and cannot do! Stupid jerk! Grrr…he needs a serious lesson in manners!'

 

“No.”

 

“What do you mean no? I said I was going home end of story!” She tried to pull away but he only held onto her tighter.

 

He growled. “I'll take you home if you want to go so damn badly!”

 

“I don't want you to take me home! And anyways I'm not leaving my car here.”

 

He pulled her against his chest and whispered into her ear. “I didn't ask you if you wanted to go home, I said I was taking you. Don't worry about your car I'll handle it.”

 

She couldn't help but shiver at his words she felt like her knees were going to give out at any moment, but with him holding her so tightly against him she knew that she wouldn't fall if they did. She laid her head down on his chest. `Why am I doing this? Why does he make me feel this way?' She felt her feet lift off the ground. `What the hell…'

 

He smirked as she laid her head down on him. `It won't be long until she's mine…' He could easily smell her exhaustion. `It must be from the try outs…did she even finish them? Feh...doesn't matter now…Don't worry my little bitch I'll take care of you.' He lifted her up into his arms bridal style and carried her to his black Lexus. `Good thing I took the car instead of the bike.'

 

Feeling him carry her to his car she just snuggled in closer to his warmth. `For now he can take me home, but if he tries anything funny I'm going to deck his ass. Damn I'm too tired to even think about this…when did he get to be so warm…' She drifted into a peaceful sleep.

 

As soon as he placed her in the passenger seat she whimpered slightly for the loss of warmth, but it was quickly returned when he put his leather jacket over her. He got into the front seat and looked to the sleeping girl next to him. `She was a little more tired than I thought.' He smirked. `Soon she'll be sleeping with me…'

 

He started the car and drove to her house.
