Kagome woke to the warm sunlight filtering through her curtains. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes she looked around only to see that she was safe in her room tucked beneath her covers. She also felt something warm and soft wrapped around her upper body. She extended her arms out and saw that she was wrapped in a leather jacket that was a couple sizes to big for her. It has a very masculine smell mixed in with the regular smell of leather to it, just like Inuyasha.

 

She vaguely remembered being carried to someone's car, having the jacket draped over her, and being carried to her house.

 

`Maybe when I'm a little more awake it'll come to me.'

 

She lay back down and kicked the other sheets off the bed only to be covered in her jacket. She moved around until she found a comfortable spot and grabbed a pillow to cuddle up to. When she snuggled into the pillow she felt a cold, flimsy and almost sharp substance graze her left cheek. She reached for it and brought it in front of her face. It was a note.

 

~Kagome,

 

Meet me at the part at 6pm.

Kagome folded the note and put in on her nightstand smiling.

 

`Well for once he didn't call me a bitch and what does he mean by <u>my</u> bad boy?'

 

She just shook it off and got out of bed to take a shower. She turned on the hot water and just let it wash away everything. She let it wash away the burdens of school, friends, but most importantly Inuyasha.

 

He pld hed her mind on a regular basis. She didn't really know why she thought about him so much, but it was like she couldn't help it. The worst part about it was that she really didn't even know him. Of course they went to middle school and high school together, but they were never really friends or got to know each other. He was just like another face in the crowd to her, but now he was like the only face left in the crowd. She just couldn't get her mind off of him.

She finished her shower, got out, and got dressed in a pair of comfy sweats and a t-shirt. She went down stairs for breakfast. After getting a bowl of Captain Crunch cereal she sat down at the table to eat when her mother walked into the kitchen.

 

“Good Morning, hun.”

 

“Mornin' Mom.”

 

Mrs. Higurashi sat down at the table in front of her daughter.

 

“So, who was that nice handsome young man that brought you home yesterday afternoon?”

 

Kagome almost dropped her spoon at the her mothers open comment, but kept eating without looking up at her.

 

“Um, his name is Inuyasha.”

 

“I know hun, but I meant is her your boyfriend?”

 

Still looking down at her food she answered.

 

“Um, no.”

 

“You know hun, if you ever need to talk I'm here. Or if you ever need anything like birth control pills or condoms just ask ok? But if you don't feel comfortable asking me I felt them in your bath room under the sink.”

 

That did it. She dropped her spoon into her cereal and looked up shocked at her mom.

 

`What the hell is this woman thinking!?'

 

“Mother!”

 

“Don't mother me. I just want you to be safe. You know your at that age know where you will be interested in sex so I just want you to be careful.”

 

Kagome visibly swallowed.

 

“Ok.”

 

She suddenly felt like she lost her apatite. She got up and threw her uneaten food away and cleaned her dishes.

 

“Um, mom I think I'm going to go to the mall. I'll be home before six, ok?”

 

“Sure hun, have fun. Tell that nice silver haired boy I said hi.”

 

“Ok.”

 

She walked out of the kitchen and practically ran up the stairs to get away from her mother. She jumped onto her bed and put her face into the pillow.

 

`Oh my God! I cannot believe she said that! She put birth control and condom in my bathroom! I think my mother is starting to lose it…'

 

She let a scream of frustration, but it was muffed by the pillow pressed tightly against her face. She let go of the pillow and sighed.

 

She got out of bed and dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black tank top with sneakers. Seeing as it was going to be a bit of a cold day she also threw on Inuyasha's leather jacket.

 

`Maybe a little shopping will help.'

 

She grabbed her purse and when outside. She was greeted with the sight of her lovely sports car.

 

`At least he got my car back like he promised.'

 

She got in and drove to the mall with her stereo blaring that entire way.
