"Brothers"

As the giant dravern settled on the ground, Shippo slid off and started kissing the ground. The cause for doing so was that Inuyasha had decided to challenge Ryu's ability to enjoy himself with passengers for some reason and he had started doing barrel rolls and loop de loops and then flew around like what Kagome described as a roller coaster. Then, finished it off with a free fall to the street below that had been cleared for his landing and pulling up at the last half second of cracking his skull on the ground. Inuyasha jumped off and started to claw his hair back into a halfway decent tangle than when Ryu was finished with them. Ryu only looked at them all with amusement plainly written on his face. "Someone practices that a lot." Inuyasha said glowering at Ryu. "Ever since I learned how to fly I've done it for fun, besides, if I recall, it was you who wanted to find out if I could still fly how I wanted, passengers on my back or no." Ryu chortled while changing back to his more human form. "Inuyasha, sit boy." Inuyasha immediately hit the ground and groaned while the dust settled around the hole he left. He got back up and glared daggers at Kagome. "What'd you do that for?!" Kagome only pointed to Ryu. "He's right, it IS your fault he did that, if you hadn't been so headstrong to make him mad in the first place we wouldn't've had this problem at all. I swear that you were jealous or something." The dravern almost loosed a gout of fire and corruption at her last comment from his snort of suppressed laughter. "Jealous, why, what in the Hells would he ever be jealous of ME for?" He shook his head and began gibbering quickly with some of the villagers in the language he had used before when he had bowed to Sango and Miroku. He soon came back with a man that appeared to be the inn keeper. "Good news, the inn's best rooms are available for your use my friends, don't worry about paying though, it seems that a drake retains a dragon's need for mountainous amounts of gold, which I have been able to accumulate over the years. Most times from taking down a murderer for a village and bringing a token of proof, but that's only the ones that don't try to kill me for what I am first. I actually helped these people build this village several decades ago, they had been looking for a safe place to live and a scout came across my cave. My first thought had been to expect the able bodied men to come when I let the boy go with tidings that I would help them, surprisingly enough, the next people I saw were the women and children with gifts and, I'm quite certain anyway, to see if I meant what I said. Dangerous gambit on the village leader's part, but at least I knew that they were willing to trust me and gave me enough confidence to trust them." The inn keeper began to beckon to them, speaking the language quickly and waving them to the inn. "Wait a minute, what's that language you and the inn keeper keep speaking?" Kagome asked as the keeper, apparently tired of waiting for them, took hold of her hand and began to tug her in the direction of the inn, Ryu cackled a bit at the odd scene the man was making. "Dromar, please let the girl be, the room will still be there if they take some time to get there. That is the draconic language, child, Dromar's name is draconic for adulthood. Because of my elements villagers go between calling me Rhammidarigaaz and Crosis. Rhammidarigaaz is conception and also casts fire, Crosis is the name for death and he breathes the black rot. I am known more often by them as Crosis when they go by giving me a draconic name, from what I smell you've found twelve reasons for that and watched the thirteenth. I truly am sorry about that merchant the night before though, whenever I lose my temper my thinking becomes less coordinated as my wyvern mentality takes over, then I merely have the instinct to eat, eliminate threats and at times attempt to find a mate. All the times I've looked I haven't found one yet. Which may result in my life ending sooner than if I lived never fighting a foe or getting wounded badly, all I seek is to make the one you call Naraku pay, if I find a mate before that day then I will have something to exist for when Naraku is dead. If not then the dravern demons will end with me." He only held up a clawed hand and shook his head before he would have to hear any pity. "If I were not meant to find a mate then Naraku will die before I get a chance to really seek one, if I am, then she will be found some day soon. Ahh, but that's not the point of you coming here, to listen to an old dravern's problems, go, go to the inn and get some rest before Dromar gives the rooms to someone else." He started off down the street when Shippo called out. "Wait, where are you gonna sleep?" Ryu turned and smiled. "I stay in the cave east of here, it's better I do, some nights I lose control of myself and in the morning I wake up to the aftermath of the corruption and flames." He turned back and took to the air again, dropping out of sight only a mile or two away from the village. "Well, I guess we better go to the inn and hope he was just kidding about the keeper giving away our rooms." Kagome said, Inuyasha was beside himself in not caring whether the man did or not as they started over to where Dromar had tried to drag Kagome earlier. He was standing outside the inn tapping his foot impatiently. "Come, come, water getting cold, we don't bother Ryu at night for something like heat bath water, come." He commanded ushering the group inside, both hands on Inuyasha's back since he was at the end of the line, which pushed him into Miroku which pushed him into Sango and her into Kagome. Shippo and Kirara coming in behind Dromar since they were too small for him to catch in the sandwich he made out of the others. "Come, come, men's bath, women's bath. Go, wife will have food ready when done." He said pointing the men's bath out on the left and the women's on the right, then hurried off, most likely to help with the cooking. "Man, he was pushy." Kagome said when she and Sango were sitting in the dug out rock bath with Kirara swimming around in the middle. "I noticed, and I couldn't smack Miroku because I was trying to keep that guy from crushing me between you and him. Kinda odd to give someone the name meaning adulthood when they act so childish." Suddenly, a woman came in with towels and some soap. "Oh, it's not Dromar's fault, Ryu called him Dromar because as impatient as he is it's impatience to do what he is supposed to do. He usually isn't so bad, since he always thinks he's been too slow when guests are waiting at the front, this is the first time I can remember since marrying him that he's been so rude to the guests. Hm, maybe it's just the years taking their toll on him." The lady said while laying out the items next to the two girls' heads. "Maybe you should try to get him to take a vacation or something, let him relax a while." Kagome suggested almost immediately. The old woman smiled. "I wish he would too, but as I said before he is too impatient to do his job. The only time he ever takes a break is when he's asleep or else very sick or hurt." Both Sango and Kagome turned to look at her. "Oh my, are you serious? That's not a good thing to do to himself." Kagome said. "You should see if any of the villagers will volunteer to take over while you take him somewhere to relax and take a vacation." Sango added. Kirara climbed out of the little pool and shook herself dry all over the old woman. Sango immediately picked her up and dropped her back in the water. "Kirara, I can't believe you just did that." She scolded the little fire cat. "Don't worry about it, she is an adorable little fire cat though." She said while picking Kirara up out of the water and drying her off with a little towel and then started petting her. Kirara lay there and purred while Sango and Kagome got out, dried off and put a clean change of clothes on. "Thanks for watching Kirara." Sango said taking the little fire cat from the woman causing her to mew in protest. "It was no trouble at all, dear." She sighed, "If only all the demon girls that came here for Ryu were as nice as you two, maybe then he'd settle down after he gets that demon who killed his parents and ravaged his mother so coldly. Once, Dromar and I had gone to see if Ryu-sama needed anything and we could hear him pleading with, then roaring at someone, I think that he isn't being entirely truthful about what happened. I think he saw it happen, the reason he's so good-natured is to try and hide the pain in his heart. Perhaps that is why he has refused the demonesses so far, they wanted only to have a dravern child, they didn't really care about Ryu or his past." She looked on wistfully. "That may be why he's so helpful with you lot, speaking of which best of luck with your men. That hanyou is more possessive than anyone I have ever seen." She said to Kagome. "And the monk would have been able to have you if he wasn't so lecherous am I right, dear?" She asked Sango with a wink, leaving the slayer a deep shade of crimson. "Wait, what makes you think that you're right?" Sango demanded. "I can see it plainly on your faces and theirs, I saw Dromar pushing you in and knew right away from your eyes who loved who. Ryu was never one to just sit back an let kids in love miss their chance with one another. Don't worry girls, my lips are sealed though all of you make it so plain how much you care for each other. Truly a wonder you have not yet born any children or at least you are still in tact." She chuckled when Kagome turned red and Sango started on a rainbow of different shades of red. "I'm not as human as you think, I can smell that you are untouched. Come along, before Dromar works up the nerve to come in here even though we're all decent." She said starting out of the bath house, Kagome, Sango and Kirara following close behind. They ate and then Dromar told them who was staying in which rooms. He pointed to Sango and Miroku then to a room on the left of the hall and Kagome and Inuyasha in the one on the right. "Come, come, little ones, Rith have special place for you two to rest." He said picking up Kirara and Shippo. Inuyasha glared at the old man who had already turned around and seemed oblivious to the dirty look the hanyou was giving him. "Rith let you sleep in our room little ones, she likes the fire cat and hasn't had a chance to talk to you, uhh." He paused while looking at Shippo to say who he was. "Oh, my name is Shippo and that's Sango's pet, Kirara." The little fire cat mewed and started pawing at one of Dromar's nails, nails that looked too long and sharp to belong to any human. Shippo noticed this. "Hey, you have claws, I never noticed that before." Dromar sweat dropped and tried pointlessly to hide them. "Ryu say, that every once in a while, reason he names five villagers after the five Primeval dragons from very long ago is because we are human reincarnations of them. There are nights when we become Primevals, those nights we stay in caves Ryu show to chosen villagers so we not hurt others or ruin homes. You will have to stay in our room yourselves this night, Rith, the other three and I must go hide and protect the villagers from ourselves. Sleep well Shippo and Kirara. Come, come Rith, we must go before Primevals try to break something." Rith got up hesitantly. "Oh, shit, I wanted to spend time with the little ones. Oh well, just my luck that they decide tonight of all nights to transform. Good night little ones, I hope we will be back in the morning." They walked out a back door and Shippo scrambled over just in time to see two pairs of wings lift off the ground and fly away. "I wonder if the full moon has anything to do with them turning into those Primeval dragons." Shippo thought aloud while looking at Kirara. The little fire cat mewed as though she were agreeing with the fox.

"Inuyasha, sit." Kagome commanded for the fifth time while she was trying to change into her pajamas. He immediately slammed into the ground, his now black hair making a little sunburst around him as she threw off her shirt making it land on his head and put on the top, then changed into the pajama pants. Inuyasha groaned, then growled while throwing Kagome's shirt back at her. "You didn't have to do that ya know!" He shouted, while getting back up. "I saw you looking Inuyasha, I'm not stupid." "Coulda, fooled me." Inuyasha muttered. "Sit!" "Ow! You could do that a little less often!" Kagome only glared at him coolly as he stood back up. "I could, but then you would watch me change." He suddenly got an idea and started to step closer to her. "I-Inuyasha, what are you doing? Back off." He didn't reply but kept inching closer and closer. "But I can't help myself, Kagome." Came his seemingly wistful reply. When he was almost close enough to reach out and touch her, Kagome started to take a step back for each one he took toward her. "Inuyasha, okay that's enough, I'm sorry for sitting you, just please stop." He figured she'd had enough but really couldn't stop himself now. Kagome felt the window shutters against her back and the rain pattering against them and froze as Inuyasha came closer while she had nowhere else to run. He reached out and caressed her face then took her chin between his thumb and index finger. 'I want to knock this off and leave Kagome alone, but I really can't help it.' When he had touched her cheek Kagome started to press against the shutters in the vain hope of passing through them and getting away from Inuyasha until he was himself again. As he moved his face closer to kiss her the shutters gave way under her weight and Kagome fell out of the window with a surprised yelp, while Inuyasha had been just barely able to catch hold of the back of her pajama shirt. "Hold on, Kagome!" He started to pull on the collar that he had a grip and haul her up when the buttons started to pop out one by one. "Hurry up Inuyasha, I'm slipping!" She yelled back. The last button came free and Kagome screamed as she slipped out of the garment. Inuyasha caught hold of her wrist this time and hauled her up as quickly as he could and letting the shirt flutter to the muddy ground. When she was safely back inside, Kagome threw her arms around Inuyasha and buried her face in his chest. "That was too close, are you all right, Kagome?" She brought her head up to rest her chin on his shoulder. "I am now, thank you Inuyasha." She murmured. Then she felt a raindrop plop against her bare back and she turned crimson. "Ah, my shirt, oh no." She immediately released Inuyasha and tried to hide her bare breasts from him. When Inuyasha remembered he dropped the shirt to save Kagome he turned red as well realizing what she was so embarrassed about. He sat there and gawked like an idiot for a moment then regained his sense and took off his rat fur and put it on Kagome's shoulders to cover her. "Thanks again, Inuyasha." She said. "I guess I owe it to you since it was my fault you fell out of the window in the first place. I'm sorry Kagome, I don't know what came over me." Inuyasha replied while sitting down and propping himself against the wall opposite the window and bed. Instead of climbing into the bed, Kagome got up and went over to Inuyasha while hugging the rat fur closer to herself so he wouldn't be able to see anything. "It's all right, you didn't mean for me to fall out, but...were you really going to kiss me if I didn't?" He flushed again. "Uh, I... yeah, I think would have. Why so interested?" Inuyasha asked, eyeing her warily. Kagome smiled and then sat down so that she was straddling him. "Just wanted to know if you really wanted this." Before Inuyasha could say anything she kissed him, a soft, world stopping kiss. After gradually getting over the shock he returned it in full and pulled her closer to him. Kagome moaned softly when he ran his tongue gently across her lips and opened her mouth for him. Then she broke for breath and just laid her head against his chest. "Why did you stop Kagome?" Inuyasha whined. She smiled, "Because I want to save more for later." Came her murmured reply. She yawned and nuzzled him. "I'm tired for now, let's start where we left off in the morning." "All right, Kagome." He replied, kissing her softly one more time before she drifted off to sleep followed shortly after by him.

Sango swung at Miroku again and hit him this time. "Will you stop doing that?! I told you already, I'm not interested!" He only held up his hands feigning defeat. "All right, all right, I believe you." Then he muttered to himself. "But I believe what you say in you sleep more." Apparently she had heard him "What did you say?" Miroku recovered from the shock quickly. "Nothing, perhaps you're just tired." Sango only glared at him. "You expect me to fall asleep first with you here? Think again, I don't want any surprises in the middle of the night or when I wake up in the morning. If only that inn keeper hadn't taken Kirara I'd sleep easier." Sango laid on the bed and made sure she was facing Miroku, to try her best at keeping him from groping her as she slept. She felt a little relief when Miroku just sat and leaned against a wall instead of trying to join her. "I think they planned this." He said suddenly, jerking Sango out of her half sleep. She yawned. "What makes you say that, they're just an old couple that gave us rooms and we just happen to be sleeping together." Miroku raised an eyebrow and she realized what she said could've been taken as a suggestion. "I-I mean, sharing a room. Good night." She lay back down and closed her eyes, but Miroku had already gotten curious about her choice of words and sudden interest in changing them. "Sango, is there something you'd like to tell me?" He asked getting up. "No, now get those perverted thoughts out of your head and go to sleep Miroku." Sango snapped and then rolled over facing away from him. 'She seems to be uncertain about something, perhaps listening to what her dreams have to say tonight will clear up the matter some.' Miroku thought, while sitting there and waiting for Sango's breath to become soft and even. He padded over quietly to stand next to her and listened intently for anything she might be saying in her sleep while fighting the intense urge to grope her. "Miroku." She murmured, he froze and was certain she knew he was standing there. He took the risk that she was just sleeping. "Y-yes, Sango?" He whispered back. "Why do you always have to be a pervert?" She asked. "Why do you care what my reasons are, you said it yourself you weren't interested." She rolled over and opened her eyes. " I am, but I'm not interested in being with a pervert. If you'd just knock it off I'd be able to enjoy your touch instead of wondering how many women are you going to keep trying this with." She shifted the sheets, letting Miroku climb into the bed and put an arm around her. "Then I'll make sure that this is the only time I wander. If.. you want me to." Sango only yawned again and rested her head against his chest. "Later, for now I just want to sleep. I don't want anyone to know about this either." Miroku kissed the top of her head gently. "Fine, I won't say a word."

Ryu woke up and found his ancestors standing around him. "Oh, I forgot last night was the full moon. Maybe it's just that I'm still half asleep." He chuckled and got up, "This damn full moon kept me from playing with the fox and fire cat, Ryu, why can't we just control the change and be able to protect the village ourselves so you can find Naraku?" Rith complained. "And a mate while you're at it, you are getting more and more involved with bringing kids in love here and not finding the right girl for yourself." She added. "Rith, if I recall from what some birds told me, you and Dromar played a hand in what is happening right now. Even though the hanyou and priestess seem to be extremely stubborn and will make our attempts to get them together increasingly difficult. Did the monk and the slayer at least admit to one another, I'm certain that the girl Sango was losing her battle to keep the monk away for too much longer anyway. It's that strange priestess Kagome and Inuyasha that will be the challenge, especially since I felt betrayal and pain coming from Inuyasha. Wait, I remember now, the hanyou I heard that people had said killed a priestess and was pinned to a tree for fifty years. He's being so difficult because of Kikyo, shame the girl never really loved him, if she did she wouldn't have tried to convince him to become human." Ryu said. "The little wretch wasn't much better than the demonesses that have come to have your children and came only for that reason, you'd figure they'd have wanted your gold, or maybe use you to kill humans and demons they didn't like." Rith spited, remembering all the young, beautiful demon women that had stayed at the inn. "Actually, Rith, it makes perfect sense, they wanted to find a male that would make them able to bear strong and healthy children, there are few better than a dravern. Though I am sorry to say that there will only be fire and darkness dravern demons if I do settle down with the right female." He sighed, then started sniffing the air. What is it Ryu-sama, Naraku, someone who might know where he is?" Dromar asked. Ryu sniffed again. "The scent's not strong enough to be Naraku, and I hear he only has two demons and Kikyo around much of the time. I smell a demon, a young human girl, an imp and a very young dragon. Nonetheless, the demon smells very strongly of Naraku and I cannot let a possible informant get away. Return to your homes, my friends. Dromar, Rith, there is also the faint scent of Inuyasha and his friends. I will do what I can to keep my temper and bring them here alive, awaken the hanyou quickly. You can let the monk and slayer be for a time, she may have promised him something if he behaved since I never heard any smacks for some time after nightfall." Ryu instructed. "Of course, m'lord." Rith and Dromar said together as they and the other three Primevals flew off to the village before returning to their human forms. The dravern shook his head and sighed. "I'm not your damn lord." He muttered to himself irritably, he stepped off the cliff and glided to the source of the smell.

Inuyasha woke up to knocking at the door. "Dammit." He muttered, while gently shaking Kagome awake. "C'mon Kagome, someone's at the door." Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled up at him. "G'morning." She yawned. He smiled back and gently lifted her off of him and went to answer the door. "What do you want?" He asked Rith angrily. She peered around him to see Kagome wearing his rat fur and felt the bond they had before had become even stronger. "Oh, dear, we thought it would have taken longer than this. I'm sure Ryu will understand, I'm so sorry to interrupt you two." She bowed and turned to leave. "Wait a minute, what does Ryu need us for?" Kagome asked, now in her school uniform. "Oh, it's nothing, he smelled a demon with odder companions than yourselves and also noticed the demon smelled faintly of you, Inuyasha. I believe he said it was a dog demon, a little girl, an imp, and a very young dragon." Rith replied casually. "That sounds like Sesshoumaru and Jaken. I thought I smelled a human on him the last time we fought." Rith turned back around in surprise. "Fought? Oh dear, Ryu-sama went to see what he could learn from them. Oh my, do you think this Sesshomaru would attack him?" Inuyasha snorted, "Feh, if he didn't that's when you should be worried." Rith looked very unnerved. "Oh no, he hates hurting children, if he's attacked though, he may lose his temper and attack her. he must have reached them by now." As if in answer a roar echoed through the village that was unmistakably Ryu by Rith's saddened reaction. "It's too late, they may all be dead soon. The wyvern is a lot like some demons, doesn't care who dies so long as it doesn't feel threatened anymore. Oh, Ryu-sama will be so upset if he regains control and that little girl is dead. Will you two please go and see if you can do anything, calm him down if he hasn't killed them." Kagome nodded in agreement. "All right, c'mon Inuyasha, let's get Sango and Miroku and do what we can to help." They went to knock on the door Sango and Miroku were in when Rith stepped in front of them. "Please, let them be, I only bothered you because I thought you would be at each other's throats. Ryu thought it would be more difficult for you two to become so close as you have already, so he sent Dromar and I to wake you and send you to help him with Sesshoumaru and the others if he wasn't done already. Please, hurry." Inuyasha hesitated. "Fine, we'll go without them. Can you take care of Shippo and Kirara then?" Rith smiled and nodded. "Of course, of course, they are staying in my room, they are such adorable little demons." With that Inuyasha took Kagome onto his back, jumped out the open window and ran for where the roar came from.

Sesshoumaru walked along with Jaken on his right and Aun carrying a still sleeping Rin to his left. Jaken looked sidelong at the young girl and grunted again. "My lord, I think you should take her to a human village where she can grow up among her own kind, live happy and be as far away from us as possible." Sesshoumaru only glared coldly at the imp and he shut up immediately. Meanwhile, Aun's right head was nudging the demon and looking to a shape east of them headed in their direction. Sesshoumaru turned to glare at the two headed dragon when he noticed the form as well. "Rin, wake up, there is a demon coming." He growled in annoyance when she didn't awaken. "Aun, take her to safety before the demon gets here, now!" The dragon's heads both sounded their reply and ran off for a clump of trees to hide with his mistress still on his back. Soon Ryu landed in front of Sesshoumaru and Jaken then looked around. "I smelled a human and a dragon, where are they?" Sesshoumaru only looked at him. "Even if I knew where they were, why would I tell you, the child is very dear to me and the dragon protects her when I am not around." Ryu smiled when he heard that. "I hope you are keeping yourself in check until she is old enough, boy. I just wouldn't be allowed to let you live if you had touched her in such a way. I smell she remains in tact however, but that is not why I came to you. You know the demon Naraku, the one who raped my mother and murdered both my parents. Tell me where I can find him." The dravern said his voice darkening when he mentioned what he was looking for. Jaken (of course) opened his big mouth and hollered at Ryu. "Get lost, Sesshoumaru-sama doesn't need to waste his time with the likes of you! Leave now or else! My master doesn't need to tell you anything for such a pointless reason." Ryu's eyes flared, "You dare disregard my parents so?!" In a flash, his tail split Jaken in two and rose up to strike Sesshoumaru next. "Fluffy! I woke up and Aun was... AAAHH!" When she had come up to Sesshoumaru Ryu's tail changed direction mid strike and lashed at Rin, cutting her arm. Aun came thundering out of the trees and his left head reached out and bit Ryu's tail before he could pull it back fast enough. With the animal refusing to let go, Ryu hauled on his tail and threw Aun off balance, dragging him to the enraged dravern's waiting claws. He then felt a light pounding against his leg that was Rin trying to make him let go of Aun. "Leave Aun alone you big bully!" The wyvern immediately chucked his tail free of Aun's teeth and lashed to tear into Rin's skull. "Ahh, no! I... cannot, I.. will not... hurt.. a CHILD!!" Ryu yelled, grabbing his tail and digging his claws into it. Eliciting a roar of pain, that he later was certain echoed all the way to the village. He then lost his balance and fell over, Rin pounced on his chest and started beating on the gasping dravern. Ryu pinched the back of Rin's kimono between his claws and lifted her off of him, making for a very comical sight of the little girl swinging at the demon holding her just out of reach. Then he caught sight of her cut and grabbed her arm. "Are you okay, little one?" Ryu asked frantically, recalling the last minute recourse the wyvern made to strike the source of the calling, then began going through the pouches on his belt for bandages after setting her down. Rin looked at him, confused to no end about the demon who had just tried to kill her and Sesshoumaru, was now worried about the cut on her arm. After a few moments, Ryu growled at his own idiocy. "Damn, I watch over a village close to here. Please, follow me, I will take her there quickly to be tended by the healer. You may come at your leisure, demon." Ryu said to Sesshoumaru while scooping Rin into his massive arms and taking flight to the village. Sesshoumaru looked down at the corpse that had been Jaken. "I was going to kill you myself for wanting to get rid of Rin again. That demon merely saved me the trouble of doing so." He said to the halves. Aun looked at Sesshoumaru and grunted his concern for the demon taking Rin away. "Let's follow him to the village he spoke of, we will see Rin again there." The two started off toward the village they watched Ryu fly to. Aun sounding his distress at seeing Rin go away periodically.

~*~*~*

Just as the couple were about to leave the village, Inuyasha saw Ryu fly over with something in his arms. The dravern flew directly to where the healer lived and landed. "Not only does it seem like my brother's okay, but Ryu's taking them to get patched up from their fight. Should we go back to the inn or see who got hurt?" He asked Kagome. "We should go see who the girl is, I'm sure that's who he was carrying or else he would've been in his dragon form." She suggested. Inuyasha turned and started running straight to where Ryu landed, jumping over the houses along the way. When they got there, Ryu's booming laugh came from the small hut accompanied with a little girl giggling. "What's he think is so funny, didn't he hurt someone?" Inuyasha quipped. As they walked in Ryu had a young girl who looked no older than eight sitting on his leg and telling him about Sesshoumaru, Jaken and her pet dragon Aun. "Tell me again, why do you call the demon Fluffy?" Rin sighed and started telling him again why she gave Sesshoumaru the pet name, Fluffy. "Because, all the stuff he wears is fluffy and soft. That's why I call Sesshoumaru-sama Fluffy!" She shouted, making sure Ryu heard her. The dravern looked over to Inuyasha and was pleased to see the half demon was definitely amused by the child's description of his older brother. Rin looked over and saw Inuyasha and Kagome too, then jumped up and yelled. "You're the ones that hurt Sesshoumaru-sama when I met him! Go away, I don't want him to get hurt again!" She ran at Inuyasha and started pounding on his leg like she did when Ryu was going to try to kill Aun. Ryu caught her by the back of her kimono again and picked her up. "Rin, do not worry child, nobody will be hurting each other here. This is a peaceful place, I do not allow folk to fight amongst one another, especially family." He said eyeing Inuyasha. Hearing that, she stopped struggling. "Family? No, he can't be, Fluffy was hurt because of him!" Ryu sighed and shook his head. "They are of the same father, Inuyasha is Fluffy's little brother, am I right, hanyou?" Inuyasha only nodded, trying desperately not to burst out laughing. Kagome didn't think it was as funny since Rin looked upset about a time they had left Sesshoumaru badly wounded. "Inuyasha, sit boy." The hanyou immediately hit the ground and Rin looked at her with awe. "How did you do that?" Kagome rubbed her head and laughed. "Rosary beads a priestess named Kaede put on Inuyasha that he can't take off, it only works if I say 'sit' though." Inuyasha only growled. "It serves you right Inuyasha, she was upset because of what we did to Sesshoumaru and all you could think about was her nickname for him. You're such a jerk sometimes!" She turned red at the strange look he gave her that said he planned on getting revenge some time later and she knew what he'd try. While the two were glaring at each other, Rin suddenly broke free of Ryu's grip and ran out the door. "Sesshoumaru-sama, Aun! You're here!" She ran up and threw her arms around Aun's necks and the dragon nuzzled her and grunted his joy to see her again. "Wait a minute, where's that stupid imp Jaken, Sesshoumaru?" Ryu sighed his relief. "Good, no one cared about him. I thought I would have troubles for cutting him in two." Inuyasha just looked at him. "Please tell me you weren't serious just then." He snorted. "Okay I will, I wasn't serious." Ryu replied with a grin. "It seems we will have to make peace for now, Inuyasha. I'll have to kill you and take Tetsusaiga another day." Sesshoumaru remarked calmly. "Hey now, there'll be none of that here Sesshoumaru, besides, if I do things right you'll all be friends before I have Naraku's head on a pike." Ryu said, oddly jovial regardless of his comment. "It doesn't make a difference to me, wait, where are the monk, fox, slayer and her demon pet?" Sesshoumaru asked sounding somewhat confused. "Oh, we left them back at the inn, the keeper's wife wanted us to leave Sango and Miroku alone and I didn't want to deal with Shippo at the time. We were just about to go where you were after we heard Ryu roar, then we saw him coming back and followed him instead." Inuyasha explained. Ryu flushed slightly. "That was my fault, the wyvern was going to kill Rin and I dug my claws into my own tail to stop it." Kagome then noticed the blood and wounds on the dravern's tail. "Oh my goodness, aren't you going to get those bandaged? Rith told us you didn't like to hurt little kids, so hurting yourself doesn't sound as senseless or funny." Ryu nodded solemnly. "I thought Rith would tell you, as for getting these taken care of, I always keep the scars from when I try to attack children." Sesshoumaru lifted Rin onto Aun's back and Inuyasha and Kagome led them to the inn they were staying at. "Oh, another adorable animal and a little girl too!" Rith exclaimed gleefully when they walked in. She pat Aun's heads and then took Rin in a death grip of a hug. "I'll go tell Dromar we have more guests and then start lunch." She announced, "Oh, Miroku and Sango are still in their room, I don't think they're sleeping though." Rith told Kagome with a sly wink. She turned slightly red.

Sango yawned and looked at Miroku's sleeping form. She snuggled closer to him and sighed contentedly. "Good morning, Sango. I trust you slept well." He said suddenly, looking down at her. She nodded. "Yes, I did, and thank you for keeping your hands to yourself. It will be worth it if you can keep this urge to touch girls under control." She murmured, scooting up to face him and then give him a light peck on the cheek. "Can you explain to me exactly how it would be worth it, Sango?" She giggled. "All right, fine, just a little." She kissed him and nudged his hands to imply that he was allowed to touch her. Miroku wasted no time in running his hands along her back and rubbing her butt for a time. Sango finally took a break from the kiss and took his hands off of her. "I think you get the idea Miroku, but remember, You can't grope any girls, including me, because I don't want the others to know about this yet. That can only be done when we're alone." She warned, Miroku only smiled at her, "Then we'll have to make it a point to spend a little extra time in bed, won't we?" He remarked, getting another giggle from Sango. He pulled her close and began to kiss her again. She moaned and let him wander her body again, swatting at his hands when he reached between her legs or tried to take off her clothes, she finally got annoyed with it and broke their kiss. "Miroku, not yet, you'll know when. I'll tell you now it won't be today, so stop trying so hard." He finally gave up and fell back to kissing her and running his fingers along the curves of her still clothed body.
